You are shown the path by a visibly worried Drake. "I have no idea what's going on down there. Are you sure you still want to go?... I see no doubts on your faces. Good luck, trainers". And with a feeble smile of encouragement, the Elite Four member leaves you to your mission. You go downstairs for some floors, until you find yourself in front of a metallic door. <CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT> is written on it in yellow, bright colors. You take a breath, pull the door and quickly close it behind yourself.

Soundtrack

The first thing you notice are several monitors on the sides. They look eerie and disturbed, with flashy, confused colors showing up and disappearing at random times. You wonder if it has something to do with the jamming effects of the magnetic field Eusine sensed. Anyway, you go on, looking around yourself warily until you are in front of the main computer. But, much to your surprise, you spot something (or maybe someone) working with some wires into the computer itself!
A strange, purple android is apparently messing up with the controls, using strange devices to sneak in. But one step after, the creature notices your presence and flees at blistering speed behind you, walking on the ceiling. At the same time, an odd alarm starts echoing in the room.

Red alarm. Unauthorized access. Countermeasures under process... course confirmed

From the sides of the computer, two windows open. From them, a couple of strange iron-made creatures spawn, floating towards you!

Camerupt - Elfman (M)

"Hey mon," is probably Elfman's QOTD, all day, everyday. His easy-going attitude is reflective of his species' nature - slowly pacing on with the simple pleasures of daily life. Or so it seems. Elfman is as stubborn as they come - in fact, he got into a tussle with Natsu just because they wanted to cross the same (outer) side of the ledge. It took Gray's help to wrestle him down (a fact all but Gray is unhappy about) but Zheng's capture brought him into the family. Being slow to anger doesn't mean Elfman is slow on the uptake, but it does mean that he's slow to cooldown after he gets really riled up.

Having a family to be with changes Elfman - he is becoming more and more a stolid guardian than a laid-back jock. Steadfast to the point of tactless, he will not give way if he feels that his family is threatened. He is especially protective of Mirajane, and will often go out of his way to help her in any way perceived possible.

Being able to mega-evolve is something Elfman cherish. For one thing, he actually can take life at a slower pace because of that. For another, he punched harder, meaning he can force his opponents to dance for him, per se, but eventually they'll have to duke it out like "real mons" if they want to win.

Nature: Quiet (+1 SpAtk, -15% Speed, -10% evasion)

When struck with a critical hit, Elfman becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, his Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches the Pokemon's natural Attack stage. Critical hits from self-targeting moves do not activate Anger Point.


Ability 4: Sheer Force (Mega-Evo)
At default, Elfman energizes all his attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). That way, the Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

Issei Hyoudou, "Red Dragon Emperor" - Charizard (M)

Issei is a very, very perverted lecher. With a fetish for much bigger female Pokemons. Unfortunately, due to his small size, most Pokemons did not even acknowledge his existence - the first one to do so, a Tropius, struck him down with merciless, malicious intent. Which is how Rias found him. After Tanner and Rias helped him to recover, he regains his bluster, but underneath that harem ambition he professes all the time, his honest-to-goodness trait and his willingness to be stronger (and then own a harem) endears him to Rias' peerage as what some would call "The Fool".

Trying to grow and evolve faster, Issei inadvertently tapped into a strange power, a second voice in his head that sounds more like another entity than an alter ego. Calling himself "Ddraig", its mere presence allowed Issei to learn how to reach heights of power he previously thought impossible, although the price to pay is steep. Ddraig's own origins are mysterious - but cohabiting within Issei's body, they grew to believe in each other by necessity, and Issei grows to rely a lot on Ddraig's advice in things he keep to himself.

But it seems his training is not enough for him to keep up with the changes. Natsu taught him how to fight with emotions, and he took it to heart - channeling his lust into battle rage. But even that fails to help him - until he saw his weakness in not being able to protect someone dear to him. Until he saw the world being so unjust to him and a friend he made, simply because his foes are stronger. It was then when he was overcame by a new kind of strength, known beyond the Fourth Wall as "nakama power".


Nature: Lonely (+Atk, -Def) - an unabashed lecher

Type:
Fire type: Fire STAB; Issei is immune to burn status after being inflicted by the scathing eyes of other female Pokemon.


Flying type: Flying STAB; Issei is immune to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity. He will also always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Issei' flight can even hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Dragon type (Mega-Evo-X only): Dragon STAB; Issei receives -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against himself). Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.

When Issei's HP is lower than 33%, the fire in his tail burns all the stronger at the thought of his harem dreams, increasing the base damage of any fire attack by two (2).

When in bright sunlight, Issei's bright dreams cause his tail to burn solar energy and 1 HP/action to increase the Base Attack Power of all his special attacks by two (2).

Issei's sharp claws enhance the power of all of its contact attacks by two (2) BAP.

Eruption on the second action is important, as it allows you to get a powerful hit in without drawing attention of the enemy away from everyone else. If you use it too soon, you won't get an opprotunity to use it at full power again this raid.

Oh hey look, we're dealing 20++ damage per attack per Beldum! I took some liberties with KO subs - I'm thinking having Camerupt being faster than Beldums will be useful in the Metang phase.

Round One
Straight out the gate, power is sensed in the room. Goumon doesn't wait and let's loose the first attack, doing grand amounts of damage. Rakka sets up the Sun, and what follows is an absolute slaughter at the hands of fiery attacks.
The Beldum manage to get some hits on Goumon, but it doesn't prove to be effective at all.
The two Beldum go down on back to back actions, which appears to have triggered the next line of defense:

"Conditions value: false. Secondary artillery initialized."

Then, the two piece of metal are targetted with an electric beam which causes them to fuse into a new, bigger entity! At the same time, two fresh Beldum spawn again from the sides of the computer.

Well, we got lucky with a few lucky rolls. Stage 1 completed in just one round.

A single Incinerate from Camerupt finishes off both Beldums before they can act twice, and takes another 24 health off Metang. Considering its the last action used by Camerupt, however, I am leaning towards Eruption from Camerupt to get a powerful, accurate attack off that deals 34 damage to Metang. A safer choice, despite the risk of missing for you, is Heat Wave. Using an Incinerate from Charizard also grants us a couple KOs before the Beldums get a second action (27 damage).
If Metang is still around at the end of the round, do you think I could pursuade you to have Charizard to try Roost? Snatch works on allies too, it seems, so it grants me an opprotunity to heal Houndoom (even if we have to devote two mons to a single action for it). I'm likely going to need the healing shortly.

I.... would actually think a Reflect is better than a Snatched Roost. The damage mitigation might end up a little less in the long run, but it's better than spending two actions without doing damage, because I am so sorry I forgot that Camerupt should be Eelektross - we're going to need more rounds on batteries.

Faced with a new threat, the team quickly lets loose a Heat Wave and an Incinerate, doing a lot of damage to the metallic family. Issei takes a moment to prepare the team for the incoming attacks. Metang and the Beldum jump on Mega Houndoom, doing a good amount of damage through that Reflect. Elfman strikes hard with an Eruption at max strength, endangering the floating creatures.
Goumon and Rakka continue their waves of damage, taking out both of the Beldum, while Issei puts a good amount of damage on Metang. Metang retaliates with an Earthquake, hitting everyone but Issei, as he can fly. Elfman then counters with a Flamethrower, managing to burn Metang, hopefully crippling it for a little bit.

Three quick and powerful fiery attacks quickly dispatch the Metang that was guarding the room. You get a sense of security knowing that you killed it, and begin to think it was over. That is, until you heard the computer's next protocol:

"Conditions value: false. Main artillery initialized. Course confirmed."

Then, the computer fires a beam, forging the 2 Beldum and 1 Metang into a single, mighty Metagross. Metagross begins to stomp the ground to get a feel, so you know this one won't be too easy. Then, two batteries spawn from the computer, appearing to be a bit overloaded, which may be able to work for you.

Goumon leads by damaging one of the two batteries, while Rakka lands a solid burn and Issei gets a potshot on Metagross. Metagross sends out some brutal mind waves to assault Isset, while Elfman releases his first steaming pot this phase.
Then, Goumon and Rakka work together to secure some healing for Goumon in the coming rounds, as Issei puts more work into downing the battery. Metagross then nails Elfman with the same mindwaves, while Elfman was busy studying Issei's technique.

  • Thunder Punch deals 20 DPR from my mons, and adding Shock Wave from Delphox means another 7 DPR. This means both batteries will only go down by Round 8, if things go to plan.
  • We're going to need Houndoom to tank Metagross starting next round, since you're having it Mimic'ing Wish. Or let Delphox tank first, then have Houndoom use Taunt.
  • The first mon you choose will have a Reflect as soon as the current expires, and its job is to simply take pot shots at Metagross while Wishing. We don't need to KO Metagross by Round 8 - we'll abuse the Add damage buff after that.
  • Still, I guess it makes sense to abuse Sun while it lasts - we're probably not going to set up Sun again until right before Porygon2 appears, and we should have enough EN to last until R6 before we start Chilling.

Goumon quickly launches a fiery assualt at the Metagross, inflicting a ton of damage. Afterwards, Rakka turns her attention to agitating the batteries again, doing a little something. Issei adds another burst of fire to hit the Metagross with, but then you hear an automated voice.

"CALCULATING FORCE PARAMETERS..."

Suddenly, Metagross stomps the ground 4 times, hurting everyone except for Issei, who is just floating happily. Meanwhile, the attack appears to have triggered Elfman, as he is now fuming with aggression, and lands a staggering punch on the battery, giving it a lot of charge.

Issei follows that up with his own punch on the battery. Then Metagross lands a devastating punch to Goumon's snout, confusing him. Goumon finds his bearings temporarily and proceeds to copy Rakka's Wish, while Rakka launches a devastating blast of fire at Metagross. The team looks prepared to carry on, but their protective barrier has fallen, and the sun is waning. Are they up for the challenge?

That confusion threatens us a lot.

If you could have Charizard continue to weaken the Left Battery while Camerupt takes a chunk out of the Right Battery, we would do very well. I think I'll have one of my Pokémon finish off the Left Battery next round.

Issei leads this round up by setting up a barrier for his teammates, hoping to protect them. Those hopes and that barrier was shattered moments later as Metagross landed a brutal hit on Goumon. Goumon prays to his God that he gets out of this one alive. Rakka continues to roast Metagross alive, and Elfman uses his newfound rage to abuse the second battery.

This time, Issei attacks the battery, scoring a precise hit and fully charging it! Metagross chops Goumon's neck for some critical damage, forcing Goumon to eat its Oran Berry in hopes of survival. Rakka, Goumon, and Elfman all unleash more fire upon Metagross, hoping to take it down soon. However, the anger that Elfman is experiencing is starting to wind down, and Metagross finally got rid of that burning sensation on its claws, so this is going to be a rough ride. Oh, and to add on to that, the Sun just went down.

Jayy, you forgot Flame Charge A2 bringing Camerupt's Speed to -0. Also I calc'ed Flame Charge dealing 34.5 damage, not 30. Mega-Houndoom's Fire Blast also calc'ed crit when it didn't roll one.

Our flying dragon-like friend starts off by burning Metagross, trying to reduce the damage it deals. Suddenly, you hear the AI again:

"ALTERNATIVE MEASURE COMMMENCING..."

Then, Metagross stomps the ground 4 times, dealing critical amounts of damage, almost killing Goumon. A quick glance at the team and you notice that Elfman is fuming.. again for that matter. Goumon takes defensive measures to make sure Metagross doesn't target him again, while Rakka blasts Metagross with more fire, drawing its attention. Elfman uses some of that newfound rage to punch the batteries some more.

Issei now needs to relax because he has been working hard out here. Metagross takes the opportunity to slam into Rakka. Goumon follows Issei's lead, and takes a bit of a breather. Elfman now takes out some of its rage on Metagross, wrapping itself in fire and charging hard and fast at it, knocking it below half health. It looks like things are starting to work for our heroes.
