[Overview]

Though Charmander is outclassed in many ways by its Fire-type brethren in Little Cup, it has a perk that sets it apart from the other sweepers in the tier. Charmander’s access to Dragon Dance, which raises the lizard’s average Attack and Speed stats makes Charmander a ferocious sweeper in LC when given the proper support.

[SET]
name: DDMander
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Flare Blitz
move 3: Brick Break
move 4: Thunderpunch
item: Oran Berry/ Life Orb
nature: Adamant
evs: 44 HP / 180 Atk / 12 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Though Dragon Dance Charmander is a fearsome threat, it may seem outclassed by other Dragon Dancers with better offensive stat layouts, most notably Dratini. However, what makes Charmander a decent Dragon Dancer is its ability to take down Bronzor, which Dratini struggles to do.

Flare Blitz is Charmander’s STAB attack and primary attacking move, being able to even 2HKO the likes of Bronzor after a single boost from Dragon Dance. Brick Break allows Charmander to hit Pokemon who resist Flare Blitz, such as Houndour. ThunderPunch rounds off the set by providing Charmander with a reliable attack to strike Water-types with.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Priority attacks are Charmander's bane, especially from Pokemon who have Aqua Jet, such as Carvanha, Totodile, Kabuto, Buizel, and Squirtle. Substitute can be used over Brick Break or ThunderPunch as a way to shield Charmander from priority attacks but if Charmander does run Substitute it won’t be sweeping for long, as Life Orb, Flare Blitz recoil, and Substitute will quickly deplete all of Charmander's health.

[Team Options]

Wynaut can be a valuable partner to Charmander, as it is able to trap and remove many of the Choiced priority users who can end Charmander’s sweep. Also, Wynaut can Encore a resisted attack or a support move, allowing for an easy set-up by Charmander. Dual screens courtesy of Bronzor can be very useful, as they also allow Charmander to set up much easier. Munchlax can switch into and defeat Chinchou, who completely walls Charmander. Also, Dratini can benefit from Charmander's presence on its team, as Charmander can heavily weaken Dratini's checks and counters, allowing it to have a much easier time sweeping.

[Optional Changes]

A Substitute + Dragon Dance set with a Liechi or Salac Berry can be used; however, even though the boosts gained through this combination are very useful, the sweep will often be ended before it can even start if the opponent has a Pokemon packing a priority move. Similarly, a Swords Dance set can be utilized, but due to Charmander’s average Speed and lack of a priority move, it isn’t very viable. Though it's not recommended, Charmander can opt for a Choice set, but this is largely outclassed by the likes of Ponyta and Houndour.

[Counters]

Any Pokemon who runs a priority attack can easily stop Charmander in its tracks and even if it runs Substitute, it is still very susceptible to being revenge killed by other Pokemon with a priority move or Choice Scarfed Pokemon. Aqua Jet gets a special mention here, as it will always eliminate Charmander (unless it has a Substitute up), due to super effective damage.

it'd be worth mentioning charmander does a decent job of weakening dratini's counters for it in team options.

charmander is outclassed as hell but everything needs a set I guess.

Though Charmander is outclassed in many ways by its fFire-(Space)type brethren in LC Little Cup (I don't think abbreviations are allowed in this case), it has a couple of perks that set it apart from the other sweepers in the tier. One of these so called perks include Charmander’s access to Dragon Dance, which raises the lizard’s average aAttack and sSpeed stats to new levels.(You mention "a couple of perks" yet you only listed one. Either change the sentence or add another example.)

Though Dragon Dance Charmander is a fearsome threat, it may still seems to be outclassed by other Dragon Dancers with better offensive stat layouts, most notably, Dratini. However, But what makes Charmander a decent DDer is its ability the fact that it is able to take down Bronzor, which is a very difficult for Dratini struggles to do.

Flare Blitz is isn’t only Charmander’s STAB attack and primary attacking move, but also its most powerful, being able to even 2HKO the likes of Bronzor after a single boost from Dragon Dance. Brick bBreak allows Charmander to hit Pokemon that resist resisting its STAB Flare Blitz, such as including Houndour. and Thunderpunch rounds off the set by providing Charmander with a reliable attack to strike Water-(Space)types with. Also, sSubstitute can also be used over Brick Break or Thunderpunch to ease prediction and protect Charmander from or to help against priority hits which can seriously hurt the fiery lizard.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

As mentioned before, a priority attacks are is the bane of Charmander, especially from Pokemon who have aAqua Jet, such as including Carvanha, Totodile, Kabuto, Buizel, and Squirtle among others. Substitute has been mentioned before to try to shield Charmander from priority hits but is if Charmander does run Substitute, it won’t be sweeping for long, as factoring, Life Orb, Flare Blitz Rrecoil, and HP depleted from using Substitute will quickly deplete all of Charmander's health.

Also, Dratini can also benefit from Charmander's presence on its team, as Charmander can heavily weaken Dratini's checks and counters, letting it have a much easier time sweepingpreparing the battlefield for a sweep from the aforementioned dragon.

[Optional Changes]

A Substitute+(Space) Dragon Dance set with a Liechi or Salac berry can be used, but once again, even though the boosts gained through this combination are very useful, the sweep will often be ended before it can even start if the opponent has a Pokemon packing a priority move. Similarly, a Swords Dance set can be utilized but due to Charmander’s average speed and lack of a priority move, it this set isn’t very viable in the LC metagame. Also, though it's not recommended, Charmander can opt for a Revenge set in which it uses a Choice set Item but this is largely outclassed by the likes of Ponyta and Houndour.

[Counters]

As mentioned many times before, any Pokemon that runs a priority attack can easily stop Charmander in its track. and eEven if you run Substitute, you are still very susceptible to being revenge killed by other Pokemon with a priority move in their arsenal or Pokemon who hold a Choice Scarf. There's a lot of issues with spacing from when you edited in the checks by Frizy. Make sure that you're more careful this time please. Otherwise nice job.

One of these perks include Charmander’s access to Dragon Dance, which raises the lizard’s average Attack and Speed stats to new levels.

(Frizy seemed to already mentioned this but you said "a couple" perks but you mention one. what other perks does charmander have? as it is now, the overview feels incomplete. if there are no other perks you can think of, make "perks" singular to "it has a perk that sets it..." and remove "one of these perks include" and add in this at the end: ", make Charmander a ferocious sweeper" or something like that.)

[SET]

Substitute can also be used over Brick Break or ThunderPunch to ease prediction and protect Charmander from priority.

(that sentence becomes repetitive given the next paragraph. also, additional moves should preferably be included in additional comments.)

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

As mentioned before, Priority attacks are the bane of Charmander's bane, especially from Pokemon who have Aqua Jet, such as Carvanha, Totodile, Kabuto, Buizel, and Squirtle. (the "also" reverse was to avoid repetitiveness.)

[Optional Changes]

A Substitute + Dragon Dance set with a Liechi or Salac Berry can be used; (semi-colon), (remove comma) but once again however, even though the boosts gained through this combination are very useful, the sweep will often be ended before it can even start if the opponent has a Pokemon packing a priority move. (it was getting messy there.)

Don't refer to your analysis from your analysis too much. It not only creates extra fat, but it gets repetitive and feels like you're getting bored or something. Anyways, nice job!

I'm really sorry for triple posting but it has been quite a while since this analysis has received its second GP check and it hasn't been uploaded and a mod hasn't posted saying the analysis is okay. It might have gone unnoticed, but I doubt that; is there something I'm missing before the analysis can be uploaded? If so, please let me know so I can make the appropriate changes to the OP. Thanks.
