Heelo, all you wonderful smogonites or whatever uyou call yourself (damn it, cant even write the first damn paragraph without typos.) I was inspired to go back to the lc metagame by one of my old favorites, kabuto. he is cool. he has the (second, sorry timburr.) cheesiest name here. I am currently 6-1 and I only lost because I had crap moves that I needed to change. I am horrible, I cant stress that word enough, at writng intros. and I know I know "no pictures = didn't happen." about the 6/1. enjoy.

    New in RED.

    - Substitute
    - Focus Punch
    - Payback
    - Mach Punch
Timburr is my main lead, and he causes a lot of chaos. I wanted to do something different, so I went with one of my favorite strategies, subpunch. No one expects mach punch on a sub puncher, so I can get some nice kills from it. the ev's are standard, i'd think. I use him to lead because he is bulky so I can sey up a sub, although sometimes I need to pull him out late game.

    - Ice Beam
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
Chinchou...... He is amazing. He actually forms my offensive core with pawniard, and a third of my 6 battles it came down to a chinch and pawny clutch. He is my revenge killer, not really more I can say, I picked hp fire to deal with steels and snover although my massive army of fighting types seem to deal with them quite well.

    Bold Nature
    - Rapid Spin
    - Stealth Rock
    - Toxic
    - Rock Slide
Kabuto, the reason I made the team. He functions pretty well, although someties he is dead weight. I have considered Aqua jet instead of giga drain, but I need it for bulky waters, as my team is weak to them (at a glance, to me.) He outspeeds a lot, I just wish he could power through them. Maybe I should use Waterfall. He has great bulk, even se moves generally 2hko me. I need him to spin, I was quite tired of staryu as a spinner.

    EVs: 236 HP / 196 Def / 76 SDef
    Calm Nature
    - Tri Attack
    - Thunder Wave
    - Recover
    - Shadow Ball
As suggested to me by many people, I have replaced munchlax with porygon. He works a lot better, as he can combat misdreavus without breaking a sweat, he greatly improves my mixkrow weakness, and sum other stuff.

    Macho (Golett) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Iron Fist
    Level: 5
    EVs: 236 Spd / 244 Atk
    Adamant Nature
    - Drain Punch
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Punch
    - Rock Polish
Golett Is named macho because he looks like he is making a musclwe (don't judge me). He is my other lead, usually, as he combats rockers and frail pokes very easily. rock polish is because I used to use something ike this in the past, although I raerely get to use it and when I do I just cant 0hko what I need to to avoid dying and justify using it in the first place. Moves are pretty standard, sometimes id like wshadow punch, so maybe replace drain punch?

Troubled Youth (Pawniard) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Defiant
    Level: 5
    EVs: 236 Atk / 196 SDef / 76 Def
    Adamant Nature
    - Brick Break
    - Pursuit
    - Dual Chop
    - Sucker Punch
Pawniard's originally purpose was I need a trapper, but I just decided (skeptical at first) to try the bulky band. Pawniard has always been one of my favorites in this tier, and my go-to trapper on all my teams. Banded sucker punch hjits like a mac truck, ohko'ing many a unresisted foe. tbh, I really only use him to sucker punch shit, and dual cho p never sees any use.

So there you have it, sorry if my descriptions suck ass, tell me what you thinki. and here's my latest battle replay so you all will believe my ranking. http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/lc-39401296

and now here's the exportable (keep the names or die.)

hey, this is a pretty solid team here. first off all, i don't really get what kabuto is really accomplishing. you even admit yourself that he's sometimes dead weight. second of all, mixkrow pretty much ohko's or 2hko's all your pokemon. as a result, i'd switch out munchlax for porygon, who checks murkow a lot better than munchlax and is a better bulky normal type. moving on, drilbur is a better spinner, so i'd switch out golurk for mold breaker drilbur, and then to keep that offense presence from golurk switch kabuto to shell smash tirtouga. lastly, trappers aren't really that important this metagame, so i'd change up pawniard's set to a eviolite swords dance set.

i understand that i'm kind of dismantling half your team, so feel free to change what you'd like. i just think all of these changes put together would make your team more solid. :)

Thank you for the rate. I want to keep munchlax for now, as he has proven his worth in every battle I've been in. I will try replacing kabuto with drilbur tomorrow.

    Hey

your team uses some creative sets and that's good but I noticed that your team has a hard time dealing with a few threats. The first one is Nasty Plot Misdreavus and while you do have Sucker Punch on Pawnaird most Misdreavus run something like Will-o-Wisp or Substitute to bypass Sucker Punc users. Misdreavus gets easy set up oppurtuntites on Timburr, Gollett, Chinchou locked into hp fire/ ice beam, and Pawnaird locked into Brick Break or Sucker Punch. This means that even if you can Whirlwind out Misdreavus with Munchlax (which is your only real defense to a +2 Missy) it can always come back and threaten your team. A +2 Shadow Ball or Hp Fighting will destroy most of your team. As Pen Ink said Mixkrow also looks like a threat. With Brave Bird / Hp Grass / Sucker Punch . Heat Wave nothing on your team can really take a hit except maybe Munclax who will be forced to use its unreliable 'restalk' recovery. Chinchou can revenge kill it, but after some prior damage it won't want to take a Life Orb Sucker Punch.

A simple way to help you with your Misdreavus problem is to run Payback>Ice Punch on Timburr. With Payback getting a powerboost if it moves last and it being super effective to Misdreavus Timburr not only gives you a pokemon who can beat Misdreavus but it also gives you one less Pokémon that Misdreavus can set up on. Ice Punch doesn't have the coverage it has in OU. Dragons are very rare in LC and while it does hit Murkrow, Shroomish and Foongus super effectively if it is not behind a sub Murkrow will smash it and Foongus and Shroomish can recover lost health with Giga Drain and Synthesis/Regenarator. Payback not only beats Missy but it also lets Timburr beat Abra with Payback + Mach Punch since your ev spread lets you live a Psychic from non- Life Orb Abra if your at full health and if your behind a sub that's even better! Now you could always change your Pawnaird to a Swords Dance set which will be more reliable since being locked into Sucker Punch sucks but I can see why you would want to keep Choice Band, its creative and hits very hard. Iron Head should definitely be used on the set since you lack a powerful Steel-type stab. I don't see why you could forgo a powerful Stab move on a set that is meant to do damage. I would use it over Dual Chop because again, Dragons are rare in LC and Dual Chop as terrible coverage only hitting Dragon-types!

Now I know you kinda rejected Pen Inks change of Porygon>Munchlax but I am going to go ahead and throw that up. Porygon with Shadow Ball and Thunderwave will help you considerably with your Murkrow and Misdreavus weakness. It can cripple them both with Thunderwave and can beat most Misdreavus with Shadow Ball. It can also live a +2 Hp Fighting. It also has much more reliable recovery in Recover. Basically the main reasons why Porygon would be a better fit over Munchlax are; 1) better recovery (recover), 2) it can cripple threats with Thunderwave so even if Porygon can't beat Murkrow or Misdreavus if it parlayzez them, Pawnaird can and 3) it can actually do some damage and Stab Tri Attack hits pretty hard. Other then that they both fill the role of a bulky tank.

    Porygon @ Eviolite | Trace
    Calm | 236 HP / 196 Def / 76 SDef
Tri Attack / Shadow Ball / Thunderwave / Recover

and finally, I would run Rock Slide>Giga Drain on Kabuto because this lets you at least do something to Murkrow lacking Hp Grass and it provides you with a Stab move. Naturally with this change goes the switch from Impish>Bold in nature.

Good luck with the team I hope I helped!
