move 2: U-turn
move 3: Fire Punch / Ice Punch
move 4: Healing Wish / Trick
ability: Serene Grace
item: Choice Scarf
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Iron Head is Jirachi's best STAB move because of the 60% flinch chance it has when combined with Serene Grace. U-turn is useful for grabbing momentum, as Jirachi can U-turn out when one of its checks or counters comes in; however, this requires a bit of prediction. Fire Punch is useful for hitting bulkier Steel-types, such as Ferrothorn and Scizor, as they take negligible damage from any of Jirachi's other moves. On the other hand, Ice Punch is useful for hitting bulkier Ground-types such as Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Garchomp. Zen Headbutt can also be used instead of Ice Punch, but it does not achieve good neutral coverage with Iron Head, only allowing Jirachi to hit Fighting-types such as Keldeo for super effective damage. Healing Wish allows Jirachi to fully restore the HP of a weakened teammate, giving it more utility late-game. Trick can be used over Healing Wish to cripple bulky walls, such as Skarmory, Chansey, and Rotom-W, by preventing them from healing up, helping the team weaken a defensive core.

Set Details
========

252 Attack EVs allow Jirachi to hit as hard as possible. Maximum Speed EVs and a Jolly nature allow it to outpace Choice Scarf Pokemon, such as Kyurem-B and Landorus-T, while also Speed tying with Timid Mega Gardevoir after the loss of Choice Scarf due to Trick.

Usage Tips
========

Choice Scarf Jirachi should act as a revenge killer, as it cannot recover any HP it loses, but it can still take a few hits thanks to its good bulk and typing. The Pokemon Jirachi can check include Latios and Mega Gardevoir, both of which Jirachi can switch into and then proceed to fire off one of its moves. It can also can switch in on the majority of defensive non-Fire- and Ground-type Pokemon, as it is only worried about Will-O-Wisp and Scald coming from Pokemon such as Rotom and Alomomola. U-turn allows Jirachi to act as a pivot, bringing in setup sweepers such as Calm Mind Keldeo, Dragon Dance Mega Altaria, and Dragon Dance Mega Charizard X, the three of which also have great synergy with Jirachi. Pursuit users such as Bisharp and Tyranitar also like U-turn from Jirachi, as it allows them to come in and easily trap problematic threats, giving Jirachi an easier time later.

Team Options
========

Most setup sweepers like Jirachi's presence, as it can fully restore their HP with Healing Wish. Swords Dance and Nasty Plot users such as Talonflame, Mega Gyarados, and Thundurus are all good options, as they can remove some of Jirachi's counters from play. Jirachi appreciates teammates that can remove bulky Steel- and Fire-type foes such as Heatran and Charizard, as it can only hope to cause them to flinch until they're KOed. Teammates such as Tyranitar, Landorus, and Keldeo can deal with those Pokemon, and Jirachi can bring them in for free with U-turn. Thunder Wave support is nice, as it slows down foes and allows Jirachi to ParaFlinch them with Iron Head, giving the foe a very small chance to attack, as well as preventing Jirachi from taking damage. Prankster users such as Thundurus and Klefki are the best way of going about this. Because Jirachi only has an average base Attack stat, Stealth Rock and Spikes support helps it, as they can bring foes into KO range. A good partner that can set up Stealth Rock is Landorus-T, which also forms a U-turn core with Jirachi and lets it break through bulky Fire-types such as Heatran. Rotom-W also forms a VoltTurn core with Jirachi and has no problem with tanking hits from the majority of Fire- and Ground-types such as Heatran, non-Mold Breaker Excadrill, and defensive Garchomp. Will-O-Wisp users also help by wearing down defensive Pokemon that can easily take Jirachi's attacks. Although Chesnaught is also weak to Fire-type moves, it is a good Spikes setter, as it helps Jirachi break through some of the bulky Steel- and Water-types that Jirachi has problems with, such as Suicune and Gyarados, and it also appreciates the ability to U-turn into a Pursuit user, as Jirachi can bring them in safely and let them freely use Pursuit. Tyranitar is one of the best Pursuit users, as it can also set up Stealth Rock while handling threats such as Heatran.

So yeah we talked a bit on PS about this. Just go with max speed for the main spread with the current spread put in set details to pertain to specifics.

You should mention Rotom-W as Team Option, Rotom has great defensive synergy with Jirachi in addition to bring a fantastic volturn core, Rotom can resist ground / fire while Jirachi can tank grass.

nothing more i guess, solid as fuck. 3/3 after that.

Changed Jirachi's spread (can't believe it slipped my mind after asking myself why would you be slower than earth power scarfkyub and not tieing with Mega Gardevoir after trick >_>) and added Rotom-Wash as a teammate.

Ready for GP!

Iron Head is Jirachi’s Jirachi's best STAB move because of, (RC) especially with the 60% Flinch Rate flinch chance it gives has when combined with Serene Grace. U-Turn U-turn is useful for grabbing momentum, as Jirachi can U-Turn U-turn out when one of its Checks checks or Counters counters come in,; (Comma > Semicolon) however, (AC) this does requires a bit of prediction. Fire Punch is useful for hitting bulkier steel types like Steel-types, such as Ferrothorn or and Scizor, as they take negligible damage from any of Jirachi’s Jirachi's other moves. On the other hand, (AC) Ice Punch on the other hand is useful for hitting bulkier Ground types like such as Gliscor, Landorus-Therian, (AC) and Garchomp,. (Comma > Period) Zen Headbutt can also be used here instead of Ice Punch, but it does not achieve have as good of neutral coverage with like Iron Head, only allowing Jirachi to hit Fighting types Fighting-types such as like Keldeo for super effectively damage. Healing Wish allows Jirachi to fully restore the HP of heal back a weakened teammate, giving it more utility late game late-game. Trick can be used over healing Healing Wish to cripple bulky walls, (AC) like such as Skarmory, Chansey, or and Rotom-Wash, (AC) by preventing them from healing up, (They can still heal up; however, they need to switch out and switch back in to use a different move) helping the team weakening a defensive core.

Set Details

252 Attack EVs allow Jirachi to hit as hard as possible. Max speed Speed plus EVs and a Jolly nature allows it to outspeed outpace (It isn't good to use two words with the same root word in one sentence) Choice-Scarfed Pokemon, such as Kyurem-Black and Landorus-Therian and below, while also speed tieing with tying Timid Mega Gardevoir after the loss of Choice Scarf due to trick Trick.

Pursuit users like Bisharp and Tyranitar also likes U-turn from Jirachi, as it allows them to come in and easily trap problematic threats, giving Jirachi an easier time later.

Team Options

Pokemon that want Fairy-Types checked are weak to Fairy-type moves such as Dragon-, Dark- and Fighting-types such as like Calm Mind Keldeo, (It's the Pokemon that are weak to Fairy-type moves; not the sets.) Mega Altaria, Mega Sableye, Mega Lopunny, (AC) and or Latios. Jirachi wants also relies on teammates such as Landorus-T and Latios that can remove pokemon like Pokemon such as Heatran and Keldeo from play, (RC) the opponent's team in order for it to attack more easily easier. This includes pokemon Pokemon like Landorus-Therian which it can for a U-Turn core with, or Latios to handle Keldeo and also remove hazards in order to bring Jirachi in safer, Latios can also opt to run Earthquake in order to lure in Heatran and kill it. (RC) (was moved to the sentence before this one) Most set-up setup sweepers likes Jirachi's presence, as with Healing Wish it can easily bring them back to life fully restore their HP with Healing Wish. Pokemon like Swords Dance and Nasty Plot users such as Talonflame, Mega-Gyarados Mega Gyarados, and Nasty Plot Thundurus are all good options, (AC) as they that can remove some of its Jirachi's counters from play. Jirachi appreciates teammates that it can U-turn in such as Tyranitar, Landorus, and Keldeo that can remove Bulky Steels bulky Steel- and Fire Types like Fire-type foes such as Heatran and Charizard being removed, as it can only hope to flinch them to death until they're KOed. Partners that can do this include Tyranitar, Landorus, and Keldeo, which Jirachi can bring in freely with U-Turn. (Remove Period) (Added to sentence before this one) Thunder Wave support is nice, as it allows it slows down foes and allows Jirachi to ParaFlinch said foes with Iron Head, (AC) giving the opponent a very small chance to attack, as well as preventing Jirachi from taking damage. Pokemon that are weak to Fairy-type moves
(comma) such as Dragon-, Dark-(comma) and Fighting-types such as Keldeo, Mega Altaria, Latios, Mega Sableye, Mega Lopunny, and Keldeo Latios, (comma) appreciate Jirachi as a teammate. (this was not a sentence, lol. the Keldeo/Latios change is to match the order of Dragon Dark Fighting; not a big deal but it's nice. the other thing is that the previous check has changed the meaning of this sentence in a way that could be signficant? previously it was "Pokemon that want Fairy-types checked", and because this is the Team Options section we're assuming that Jirachi checks Fairy-types. now that it's "Pokemon that are weak to Fairy-type moves", we have to make a similar assumption that this sentence is in the Team Options section because Jirachi deals with Fairy-type moves, or more accurately foes that use Fairy-type moves, rather than just Fairy-types. if Jirachi can deal with most Pokemon that use Fairy-type moves - whether they're Fairy-types using STAB moves or other Pokemon using Fairy-type coverage - then this is fine. if you just want to establish Jirachi as a good Fairy-type check, then change the beginning to "Pokemon that want Fairy-types checked") Jirachi also relies on teammates such as Landorus-T and Latios, (comma) which that can remove Pokemon such as Heatran and Keldeo from the opponent's team in order for it to attack easier. Most setup sweepers like Jirachi's presence, as it can fully restore their HP with Healing Wish. Jirachi appreciates teammates that it can U-turn in such as Tyranitar, Landorus, and Keldeo that (*note 1) can remove bulky Steel- and Fire-type foes such as Heatran and Charizard, as it can only hope to cause them to flinch them (*note 2) until they're KOed. Teammates such as Tyranitar, Landorus, and Keldeo can deal with those Pokemon, and Jirachi can bring them in for free with U-turn. Thunder Wave support is nice, as it allows slows down foes and allows Jirachi to ParaFlinch (hm, "parashuffler" is an accepted term, so I think this is fine as "paraflinch") said foes them with Iron Head, giving the opponent foe a very small chance to attack, as well as preventing Jirachi from taking damage. Prankster users such as Thundurus and Klefki are the best way of going about this. Because Jirachi only has an average base Attack stat, Stealth Rock and Spikes support helps it, as they can bring foes into KO range. A good partner that can set up Stealth Rocks Rock is Landorus-T, which also forms a U-turn core with Jirachi, (remove comma) and lets it break through bulky Fire-types such as Heatran. Rotom-W also forms a VoltTurn core with Jirachi and has no problem with tanking hits from the majority of Fire- and Ground-types such as Heatran, non-Mold Breaker Excadrill, and defensive Garchomp. Tyranitar is one of the best Pursuit users, as it can also set up Stealth Rock while handling threats such as Heatran.

eh, this was grammatically correct but... Jirachi can U-turn any Pokemon in, and the placement of "that" implies that it's only Keldeo that can remove bulky Steel- and Fire-types etc etc. it's okay to split it up into two sentences. if the concern beforehand was that Heatran and Charizard would be confused as examples of teammates, you don't have to worry about that because there is no comma before "such as Heatran and Charizard".

"flinch" is not a uh...ok I'm not sure how to explain it but think of these words: punch, tickle, smell. You can punch, tickle, and smell things. Now think of these words: sneeze, fall, blink. You don't "sneeze someone" or "fall something" or "blink someone", and these things don't mean "induce someone to sneeze/fall/blink". Flinch is one of those words. You don't "flinch someone", you either flinch - meaning that you yourself flinch - or you cause someone else to flinch. This is extremely nitpicky and only a couple other GPers make this change as well, so it could just be an accepted incorrect thing we do, but yeah the more you know I guess

I hope this doesn't sound too critical lol, the amcheck was definitely good

The team options paragraph looks ridiculously long and thus is not very appealing to look at. You should consider breaking it into multiple paragraphs.
