We have 64 participants, but you may still sign up as a substitute. Pairings will probably be put up on Wednesday or Thursday to give everyone some time to make a strategy. ~ Ditto



Description

  • A Battle that mixes large doses of both skill and luck. Both players have 1 pokemon, so they cannot switch out or escape. 2 pokemon enter, but only one can be victorious. You have only 1 pokemon to counter 481 possible pokemon (including different forms), but so does your opponent. Note that because Focus Sash seems too easily abused in this sense, it will be banned for this Tournament.
Rules

  • Single Elimination: Once you lose, you are no longer in the Tournament.
  • Level 100 1 vs 1: Each player will only bring 1 pokemon into the battle. Battle with be set to Level 100.
  • No Hacks: Since this is a WiFi tournament, it should support the WiFi forum. This includes "Legal" hacks.
  • Hax Items Clause: Bright Powder, Focus Band, Quick Claw, Lax Incense, King's Rock, Razor Fang, Scope Lens, and Razor Claw cannot be held by your pokemon.
  • Soul Dew Clause: Soul Dew cannot be held by your pokemon.
  • Focus Sash Clause: Focus Sash cannot be held by your pokemon.
  • Evasion Clause: A pokemon may not use Double Team or Minimize.
  • Accuracy Clause: A pokemon may not use Flash, Kinesis, Sand-attack, or Smokescreen.
  • OHKO Clause: A pokemon may not use Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, Guillotine,or Fissure.
  • Self KO Clause: A pokemon may not use Destiny Bond, Explosion, Perish Song, or Selfdestruct.
  • Activity Clause: If you are inactive and your opponent is actively trying to get the match done, they will be awarded the win. If both players are equally active or inactive, the win will be decided by a coin flip.
  • Uber Clause: Players cannot use Arceus, Darkrai, Deoxys (All Forms), Dialga, Garchomp, Giratina, Giratina-O, Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Shaymin-S, Wobbuffet, Wynaut.
  • Rotom Forms: Rotom Forms are allowed.
  • Ban Status: You are not allowed to enter this tournament if you are banned, ICBBed, on the WiFi Blacklist (probational is allowed), or on the Tournament Blacklist.
