Community Create a Team project!!!
__________________________________________________________________________

What is this?
The Community Create a Team project is exactly what it sounds like. A thread where we all work together to build teams and try to make it the best we possibly can.

How does it work?
There will be a process when we build a team that will take about 7 or 8 weeks.

Week 1
People will nominate a pokemon and a team style to build on. This can give us a general idea of how we need to build the team to fit such pokemon. Make sure when you nominate a pokemon you give a brief description as to why we should build around it. This may catch the attention of some other people as well to and make them vote for you.
Example post
Offense

Fletchinder
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Def / 28 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

Fletchinder is an extremely powerful late game sweeper that can pick off targets with priority thanks to its nice ability Gale Wings. This also has a huge Stealth Rock weakness, which is pretty bad but it forces the team to have hazard removal which is a staple to most teams.

Week 2-6
A new pokemon can be nominated to be put on the team each week. Of course you would have to nominate it the same way you did the first except you can't change the team style of it.

Week 7-8
This will basically be the final touche of the team. During this week, participants are asked to try the team and see if it has any notable flaws. If these flaws can be removed by changing the set, spread, or pokemon all together users can vote on that. This will be the last chance to change any thing on the team before it is put into the team archive and we move on to a new team. Please make sure you avoid changing something that is same to the opponent. For example both people want to change Medicham out but one person wants Hitmonlee and the other want Hitmontop

Extra Note
During any of these periods it is recommended that bring up any thing that should be changed with a nominations. Like you may want to try saying that there choice of pokemon doesn't really fit the team to well and adds more weaknesses or they may want to change a move such as adding Thunder Fang to Durant because the team Superpower coverage isn't really needed. Make sure when you try to convince someone that you provide some reasoning instead of just saying, "change it." It would also be nice if you stay away from slashes but if you do have slashes try to convince a person which one would work best for the time being.

Voting
The nomination stage will be on Sunday through Thursday and the voting stage will be Friday and Saturday.
To vote for week 1-6 you can simply leave a post saying the name of the person who nominated the pokemon you want added to the team.
ex. post EonX.
NOTE:
Someone can only win during these weeks twice as it prevents one person from building have the team.

To vote for Week 7-8 there will be a list of appropriate changes and you can just say yes or no to them. There will have to be a 60% majority for something to change on the team.
ex. post
Choice Scarf Durant < Choice Band Durant Y/N
Close Combat Gallade < Drain Punch Y/N

Good luck guys and happy teambuilding!!!

Ooh, fun! I feel like it's only the best to start of with RU's trademark broken Pokémon, Druddigon!

Balance

Druddigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Fire Punch
- Outrage
- Sucker Punch
- Gunk Shot

Druddigon is that dragon that everyone seems to forget about, but lo and behold, it's actually a very good all out attacker or late game cleaner with very wide coverage and a plethora of powerful attacks.

Abomasnow-Mega @ Abomasite
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD (Idk how much speed so just adjust evs accordingly)
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Seed Bomb
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

Bulky Offense

Building around one of the new drops in the form of SD Mega-Abomasnow.

Mega-Aboma is an incredible bulky sweeper who dominates through its sheer power. Its lack of speed is circumvented through a powerful ice shard that is a nightmare for offensive teams. With SD it also just bulldozes through stall teams by boosting on and punishing stalls passivity. Its an ideal sweeper to build around because of the incredibly high potential reward of using it. But, it also requires adequate team support because its plethora of weakenesses to common attacking types. Bottom line is that SD Obama is a wrecking ball of the highest degree, assuming you can pull it off. It would be a cool pokemon for the community to try and build around as a result, not to mention that it has the new toy factor and as a result there is still a lot to be discovered about it in terms of core partnerships etc.

Balance
This set comes and goes in popularity, and I've been wanting to use it for a while and just never really found a team where it fit. It's a cool lure - bulky before and after mega, with regenerator beforehand to help it pivot, despite being somewhat weak. Healing wish can heal a sweeper or key wall in a pinch.

Meloetta @ Choice Specs
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Dazzling Gleam / U-Turn

The tried and true Specs Meloetta, such a great mon, hitting super hard while still having utility in the form of momentum-creating U-Turn and having great Special Defense to take a lot of hits, like Exploud's Boomburst. This could be a cool thing for the community to build around, as while Melo has gotten hurt in this meta full of Dark types, I still think it's a great mon and I hope you vote for me! ;)

Gallade @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 248 HP / 164 SpD / 96 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Substitute

Semi-Stall
Building around something that is really not used quite much but I believe to be effective.

Gallade is really quite an underused mon to start out with, and I think this is really one of its better sets. Due to Gallade having really good special defense for an offensive mon, Bulk Up pairs well with it to help mediate its poor Defense. It also gets very good coverage in Knock Off + Drain Punch
