[OVERVIEW]

Tornadus-T acts as one of CAP's greatest offensive pivots. It uses Assault Vest and Life Orb sets with great success. Its ability, Regenerator, gives Tornadus-T the recovery it lacks in its movepool, which helps mitigate its Stealth Rock weakness. Being a Flying-type, it's immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which limits its entry hazard vulnerability only to Stealth Rock. It has access to U-turn and Knock Off for utility, as well as a powerful STAB move in Hurricane, which allows it to check common threats such as Tomohawk, Keldeo, Aurumoth, and Pyroak. It sits in a great Speed tier, allowing it to Speed tie with Syclant and outspeed Cawmodore. However, Tornadus-T is held back back by Hurricane's low accuracy and its coverage moves, which either cause stat drops or have low accuracy. In addition, it is checked by common Electric-types like Krilowatt, Cyclohm, and Rotom-W. It also has a minor case of four-moveslot syndrome, as it generally wants to run all of its coverage and utility moves. Nevertheless, Tornadus-T is an amazing choice for balanced and offensive teams.

Moves
========

U-turn allows Tornadus-T to pivot out, take advantage of Regenerator, gain momentum for its team, and wear down checks. Knock Off removes the foe's item, and removing Leftovers and Eviolite can cripple walls like Slowbro and Chansey, while removing Choice Scarf can slow down threats like Volkraken and Mollux. Hurricane is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but its 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain. Heat Wave hits Steel-types that are immune to or resist Fighting-type coverage, such as Kitsunoh, Cawmodore, Scizor, and Mega Metagross. Superpower hits Heatran and Colossoil on their weaker Defense stat; however, the Attack drop prevents Tornadus-T from using the move repeatedly, while the Defense drop makes it more susceptible to physical attacks, especially because Superpower forces Tornadus-T to run a Hasty nature. However, its power is not cut in half in rain, unlike Heat Wave. Focus Blast hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Naviathan harder than Superpower, and it similarly does not lose power in rain. It has 70% accuracy, though, which makes it unreliable especially because Tornadus-T will have to rely on two 70% accurate moves as its primary attacking options. Hidden Power Ground 2HKOes Pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble, including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta; it also does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm. However, this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team needs to lure the aforementioned checks.

Set Details
========

Regenerator helps Tornadus-T recover while gaining momentum and is why Tornadus-T is so effective. It also lets Tornadus-T recover with an Assault Vest without a draining move. 252 Speed EVs and a Timid nature maximize Tornadus-T's Speed, which allows it to Speed tie with Syclant. Though it lowers the power of U-turn and Knock Off, those moves are used mostly for switching and removing items anyways. However, a Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen. 160 Special Attack EVs guarantee the OHKO on Keldeo with Hurricane and the 2HKO on Mega Crucibelle with Hidden Power Ground. 96 HP EVs increase Tornadus-T's bulk, allowing it to survive powerful hits from full health, most notably Bullet Punch from +6 Cawmodore and the combination of Hurricane and Nature Power from Life Orb Tomohawk. However, Stealth Rock must be cleared in both situations, and Tornadus-T must switch into Cawmodore before or while it uses Belly Drum. Furthermore, to act as an emergency check to Cawmodore, it must run Heat Wave and a Timid nature.

Usage Tips
========

Generally, in the early-game, Tornadus-T should wear down the opponent's team with Knock Off and U-turn by switching into special attackers like Keldeo, Tomohawk, Heatran, and Aurumoth. It can clean with Hurricane and its coverage moves late-game once its checks have fainted. Generally, Tornadus-T should U-turn when it needs to recover, but it should hard switch if it will be hit with a priority attack. Knocking off a foe's Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late-game. At full health with a Timid Nature, it can switch into Cawmodore successfully as long as Stealth Rock is cleared from the field. Whether it has used Belly Drum or not, Cawmodore is OHKOed by Heat Wave and +6 Bullet Punch can't OHKO Tornadus-T. But if rain is in effect, Heat Wave becomes a 2HKO.

Team Options
========

Spinners, such as Tomohawk and Colossoil, and Defoggers, such as Mega Scizor, Latios, and Skarmory, can clear Stealth Rock off the field, which allows Tornadus-T to take full advantage of Regenerator's recovery. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Assault Vest Colossoil, and Syclant make for great partners to keep up momentum. Rotom-W and Mega Scizor can tank physical hits with ease and resist Ice-type attacks, Assault Vest Colossoil can absorb Electric and Rock-type attacks, and Syclant can get free switches by absorbing a Rock-type attack with Mountaineer. Teammates like Syclant, Garchomp, Cawmodore, and Mega Diancie appreciate Tornadus-T's Knock Off to remove items, such as Volkraken's Choice Scarf, so they can outspeed it late-game. Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Cyclohm, and Clefable make for great teammates because Tornadus-T cannot survive strong physical attacks. Wallbreakers such as Hoopa-U, Choice Specs Volkraken, and Mega Medicham appreciate the momentum and forced switches Tornadus-T creates.

Moves
========

U-turn allows Tornadus-T to pivot out and take advantage of Regenerator, which mitigates Life Orb recoil. Knock Off removes foes items like Choice Scarf and Assault Vest, whose holders might otherwise force Tornadus-T out. Hurricane OHKOes Tomohawk, Pyroak, Mega Venusaur, Keldeo, and +1 Aurumoth and 2HKOes Unaware Clefable, Mega Scizor, tank Garchomp, and Mega Sableye. Superpower finishes off Chansey after Knock Off and Stealth Rock damage and hits Colossoil and Heatran for large amounts of damage. Focus Blast is a good alternative, hitting most threats harder than Superpower such as Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm for great amounts of damage, but running two 70% accurate moves can be risky. Heat Wave is drawback free and hits Cawmodore, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Kitsunoh harder than Superpower or Focus Blast, but it misses out on coverage against Heatran, Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Rock-types. Hidden Power Ground is an option if Tornadus-T needs to lure and KO certain threats, as it 2HKOes Crucibelle and Heatran and OHKOes Plasmanta, and if Stealth Rock is on the field, it 2HKOes Cyclohm and OHKOes Mollux. However, it is a subpar option, as Tornadus-T's other moves are much more useful.

Set Details
========

Regenerator mitigates the recoil Tornadus-T takes from Life Orb. 76 Attack EVs net a KO on Chansey with the combination of Stealth Rock damage, Knock Off, and Superpower. 252 Speed EVs and a Hasty nature maximize Tornadus-T's Speed, which allows it to Speed tie with Syclant and outpace anything slower. Hasty is used over Timid as not to compromise Superpower's damage output. If not using Superpower, an EV spread of 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe with a Timid nature should be used to maximize Tornadus-T's damage output with Hurricane and Focus Blast or Heat Wave. Knock Off and U-turn are used for utility, so Attack EVs aren't needed when not running Superpower.

Usage Tips
========

Early-game, use U-turn to keep up momentum and Knock Off to cripple foes. Make sure not to use U-turn when below 10% HP, as otherwise Life Orb recoil will knock out Tornadus-T. Later on, use Hurricane and coverage moves to knock out worn-down foes. Even though Tornadus-T has decent bulk and Regenerator, it wants to use Regenerator to heal off Life Orb recoil. Bringing Tornadus-T in with slow U-turn and Volt Switch users can keep it from being worn down easily. Hard switch if Tornadus-T will be hit with a priority attack before U-turn hits and is still useful. Removing a foe's Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late-game. Wear down its checks with U-turn and Knock Off until Tornadus-T can break past them with Hurricane or a coverage move; just be wary if it loses its Life Orb.

Team Options
========

To take full advantage of Tornadus-T's ability Regenerator, entry hazard removal is mandatory. Colossoil, Tomohawk, Latios, Mega Scizor, and Mollux can fulfill this role. Tornadus-T can form a VoltTurn core with Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Assault Vest Colossoil, and Syclant. Tornadus-T appreciates teammates that resist its weaknesses: Assault Vest Colossoil can tank Electric- and Rock-type attacks, Rotom-W and Mega Scizor resist Ice-type attacks, and Syclant is immune to Rock-type attacks on the switch-in thanks to Mountaineer. Teammates such as Keldeo, Mega Altaria, Azumarill, and Aurumoth appreciate Tornadus-T's Knock Off to remove an unsuspecting Chansey's Eviolite. Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Cyclohm, and Clefable make for great teammates because Tornadus-T cannot survive strong physical attacks. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Volkraken, Hoopa-U, and Kyurem-B appreciate the momentum gained by Tornadus-T, as it can give them a free switchin.

This set works particularly well rain teams, so Politoed and Mega Swampert make for great members of a strong core with Tornadus-T taking out the Grass-type Pokemon, such as Mega Venusaur, Necturna, and Serperior, that hurt these two. In return, Mega Swampert can tank the Electric- and Rock-type moves that hurt Tornadus-T and hit hard with strong physical moves.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Taunt can be used on Life Orb sets to stallbreak and prevent the foe from healing. Iron Tail can OHKO Mega Diancie and 2HKOes Clefable when boosted by Life Orb. Icy Wind can slow down faster foes like Stratagem and Mega Manetric on the switch. It also wears down bulky Ground-types like Colossoil, Landorus-T, and Garchomp. Rain Dance and Tailwind are two good utility moves that Tornadus-T can take advantage of, with the former giving Tornadus-T's Hurricane perfect accuracy and the latter supporting its team with speed control. However, Tomohawk and Fidgit, respectively, can use the moves better, with the former taking advantage of Prankster and the latter taking advantage of Persistent.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm resist Hurricane and can tank Tornadus-T's attacks besides Life Orb-boosted Focus Blast.

**Special Walls**: Chansey and Jirachi can easily take Hurricanes and other Special moves, but they have to watch out for a predicted Knock Off.

**Rock-types**: Stratagem, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Diancie, Crucibelle, and Mega Crucibelle can hit hard with their Rock-type STAB moves; however, Tornadus-T can hit them with Focus Blast, Superpower, or Hidden Power Ground.

**Faster Attackers**: Choice Scarf users such as Volkraken, Jirachi, Kitsunoh, and Kyurem-B can oustpeed and hit Tornadus-T hard, but they run the risk of switching into Knock Off. Weavile can outspeed and OHKO Tornadus-T with Icicle Crash, but it cannot switch in safely.

**Priority Attacks**: Scizor's Bullet Punch, Mega Metagross's Bullet Punch, Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Talonflame's Brave Bird, and Colossoil's Sucker Punch are common forms of priority that can hurt Tornadus-T and force it to switch.

**Status**: Paralysis ruins Tornadus-T's amazing Speed, while burn and poison compromise Regenerator's effectiveness.

Overview
1) Not sure, but I don't think you need to mention the spikes immunity.
2) When talking about speed, IMO you should talk about it's place (speed-wise) in the meta as well as the examples of specific threats which you've already given
3) Does Torn-T depend on items to cover up deficiencies in its stats?

AV Pivot
1) Mention Focus Miss' low accuracy
2) The line about switching into cawm is misleading, since it can't switch into cawm if cawm is at +6. What you mean to say is that Torn-T can be used as an emergency check to cawm if at full health because it can tank a +6 bp if at full health.
3) Mention Defoggers as well as spinners and give examples of both
4) Perhaps mention why suggested partners are good
5) Give examples of which partners can take advantage of Torn-T (e.g. with the Knock Off on Chansey thing)
6) When talking about the speed EVs, perhaps mention why this speed is being run (e.g. what it outspeeds etc.), and talk about U-turn and Knock Off being mainly for utility in Usage Tips.

LO Pivot
1) Atk not Att on EVs
2) Give examples of which partners can take advantage of Torn-T
3) Mention Defoggers as well as spinners and give examples of both
4) Perhaps mention why suggested partners are good

"- Make sure to U-turn when you need to recover
- Hard switch if you need to preserve Tornadus-T but will be hit with a priority attack before U-turn hits" are on LO and not AV, is this intentional?

There are a few places where I'd word it differently to how you've worded it, but that's to be expected for a first-time analysis writer. I prefer it when each analysis writer has their own writing style rather than everyone writing the same way, but I'd reccomend perhaps looking at some analyses (both CAP and OU) to see how they write. You've done really well for your first time, so well done!

Implemented Khosro's suggestions, but I might have messed up still

EDIT: Oops I wasn't supposed to make edits until QC approves of them. Duly noted. In this case, none of them were too drastic, so hopefully it's ok.

Not a full check, but I do think Superpower is good enough to be listed on the first set as well (after Heat Wave, before Focus Blast). It hits the targets you mentioned harder than Focus Blast does due to their lower physical bulk while also having perfect accuracy, which is enough to justify it imo. Focus Blast still has its uses, of course, hitting a lot of neutral targets like Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm harder than Superpower. It can't really check Caw if it runs Superpower, but that's why Heat Wave is in front.

AV
  • In usage tips (and wherever else it's mentioned), clarify that +6 Bullet Punch doesn't kill, but only if SR isn't down.
  • "Teammates appreciate Tornadus's Knock Off to remove an unsuspecting Chansey's Eviolite" <-- this is a pretty general statement so it's not needed imo, and Knock Off is common enough for a decent Chansey user to know not to leave it in on Torn-T.
LO
  • Heat Wave can be removed from the fourth slot
  • "Knock Off is used for utility and for the Chansey kill"cripple
  • "76 Attack EVs nets a KO on Chansey with the combination of Knock Off + Superpower"
not quite
76 Atk Life Orb Tornadus-T Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 130-153 (20.2 - 23.8%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
76 Atk Life Orb Tornadus-T Superpower vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Chansey: 481-567 (74.9 - 88.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
so edit the reasoning for this benchmark (with rocks it's guaranteed)
  • "Teammates appreciate Tornadus's Knock Off to remove an unsuspecting Chansey's Eviolite" same as above
OO
  • add Taunt, it's good for preventing recovery/wish and such (or the occasional mon that might try to use torn-t as setup fodder), makes torn-t a better stallbreaker
  • for the Rain Dance / Tailwind mention, isn't Torn-T sorta outdone by Torn-I at these roles (bc prankster) and tomohawk (rain dance only, also prankster)? might be worth a mention.
C&C
  • add Kril to Electric-types
  • remove the Colo section; it's not good enough for its own mention since sucker doesn't kill and colo just gets worn down and chunked by u-turn. a mention in priority attacks is good enough.
  • in priority moves, i'd rather see talon brave bird > dnite extremespeed

Do this stuff and it's QC 1/3

Implemented spark's check, ready for second check!

Few things on which to elaborate

76 Atk EVs let Superpower on the LO set take out certain Tyranitar and Excadrill sets, but they aren't as common. If anyone else can think up of a better benchmark, let me know because I'm stumped.

Replaced Chansey with Scarf Volkraken

This is why I put a Colossoil section:
252+ Atk Colossoil Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 96 HP / 0- Def Tornadus-T: 223-264 (69 - 81.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Colossoil Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 96 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 201-237 (62.2 - 73.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
It's neither a check nor a counter; however this still hurts. Should I note that Tornadus-T is not a check for Colossoil?

"Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen; however it cannot live a +6 Bullet Punch from Cawmodore 100% of the time"

Added this bolded part (not actually bolded in the analysis)

- U-turn allows Tornadus-T to pivot out and take advantage of Regenerator
- Hurricane is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain
- Heat Wave hits Steel-Types like Kitsunoh, Cawmodore, Scizor, and Mega-Metagross that are immune to or resist Fighting-Type coverage
- Superpower is a 100% coverage move (what do you mean here? 100% accurate? or?) that hits Heatran and Colossoil in their weaker Defense stat; however the Attack prevents Tornadus-T from using the move repeatedly, while the Defense drop makes it more susceptible to physical attacks, especially since Superpower forces Tornadus-T to run a Hasty nature. Its power is not cut in half in the Rain, unlike Heat Wave.
- Focus Blast is its most powerful special coverage move that hits Heatran and Colossoil super effectively, though weaker hits the aforementioned threats harder (focus blast and super power have the same BP) than Superpower, and hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, and Krilowatt neutrally, and its power is not cut in half in the Rain, unlike Heat Wave. It has 70% accuracy though, which makes it unreliable since Tornadus-T will have to rely on two 70% accurate moves
- Knock Off removes a foe's item, which is always helpful.
- Hidden Power Ground 2HKO's the roster of pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble, including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta, and does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm, though this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team needs a lure

Set Details
========

- Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, and it gives it its amazing niche
- 252 Speed EVs and a Timid Nature maximizes Tornadus-Therian's speed. Though it lowers the power of U-turn and Knock Off, those moves are used mostly for Utility anyways
- Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen; however it cannot live a +6 Bullet Punch from Cawmodore 100% of the time
- 160 Special Attack EVs guarantees the OHKO on Keldeo with Hurricane and the 2HKO on Mega Crucibelle with Hidden Power Ground
- The rest of the HP EVs increases Tornadus-T's bulk, allowing it to survive powerful hits from full health, most notably Bullet Punch from +6 Cawmodore and the combination of Hurricane and Nature Power from Life Orb Tomohawk. However, Stealth Rocks must be cleared in both situations, and it must switch into Cawmodore before or while it uses Belly Drum.
- To act as an emergency check to Cawmodore, it must run Heat Wave and a Timid Nature.

Usage Tips
========

- Early game: Wear down the opponent's team with Knock Off and U-turn, switch into special attackers like Keldeo, Tomohawk, Heatran, and Aurumoth, and force switches
- Mid-Late Game: Switching into special attackers and cleaning weakened checks and counters
- Make sure to U-turn when you need to recover
- Hard switch if you need to preserve Tornadus-T but will be hit with a priority attack before U-turn hits
- Knocking off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late game
- Tornadus-T, at full health, can switch into Cawmodore without problems, as long as Stealth Rocks are cleared from the field. Whether it has used Belly Drum or not, Cawmodore loses to Heat Wave in any situation, as +6 Bullet Punch cannot kill any situation is not correct, since in the rain Heat Wave won't OHKO

I have a bit of a bone to pick with how HeaLnDeaL says Focus Blast hits harder than Superpower on Colossoil and Heatran.

0 Atk Tornadus-T Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Colossoil: 226-268 (55.5 - 65.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
160 SpA Tornadus-T Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 176 SpD Assault Vest Colossoil: 152-180 (37.3 - 44.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

160 SpA Tornadus-T Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Heatran: 150-178 (38.8 - 46.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 Atk Tornadus-T Superpower vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 164-194 (42.4 - 50.2%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO

I edited Superpower/Focus Blast, and I hope it is clearer.

I have a bit of a bone to pick with how HeaLnDeaL says Focus Blast hits harder than Superpower on Colossoil and Heatran.
I meant that you need to word it in a way that makes it clear Focus Blast hits those particular threats weaker than Superpower but in most other situations Focus Blast does deal more damage. Your current wording is better than your old wording in this regard. However, I would still suggest something more to the effect of

"Focus Blast is Tornadus-T's most powerful special coverage move and hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, and Krilowatt pretty hard and it doesn't have the stat drops that Superpower has. Focus Blast deals more damage than Superpower against Naviathan, but Superpower deals more than Focus Blast to Colossoil and Heatran."

In this set you have Heat Wave slashed, but you forgot to mention it in the moves section.

Looks prettygood, just try your best to use clear language when you shift to paragraph form. QC 2/3.

Any reason Heat Wave was removed from the Life Orb set?

Also, Checks and Counters should be formatted like this:
**Electric-types**: Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm resist Hurricane and can tank Tornadus-T's attacks besides Life Orb boosted Focus Blast.

[OVERVIEW]

Just as a heads up, GP is gonna tell you to change all mentions of Tornadus-Therian to Tornadus-T, so you might as well do that now.

Tornadus-Therian acts as one of CAP's greatest offensive pivots. It can sport Assault Vest and Life Orb sets with great success. Its only ability, Regenerator, gives Tornadus-T recovery that it lacks in its movepool, which helps mitigate its Stealth Rock weakness. Being a Flying-type, it's immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which limits its entry hazard damage to Stealth Rock. It has access to U-turn and Knock off for utility, as well as powerful a STAB in Hurricane. It sits in a great speed tier, allowing it to Speed tie with Syclant and outspeed Cawmodore.

However, Tornadus-Therian is held back back its dependence on Hurricane's low accuracy and coverage moves with either stat drops or low accuracy. It also has a minor case of four-moveslot syndrome, wanting to run all of its coverage and utility moves. Additionally, it is heavily dependent on an Assault Vest to boost its special defense or a Life Orb to boost its damage output; losing its item limits Tornadus-T's effectiveness. Although Regenerator mitigates Stealth Rock damage, Tornadus-T would rather have the full 33% health recovery I don't get what this is saying, just say Regenerator mitigates Stealth Rock damage. Actually it already says this, why is it being phrased like a negative trait? Nevertheless, Tornadus-Therian is an amazing choice for balanced and offensive teams.
Is losing its item really worth mentioning? The answer is no, every Pokemon hates it.

Moves

U-turn is essential on any of Tornadus-T's sets (You don't need to mention other sets, just focus on it being essential for this one,), as it allows Tornadus-T to pivot out and take advantage of Regenerator. (It also helps grab momentum/wear down checks.) Additionally, Hurricane is mandatory because it is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but its 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain. Heat Wave hits Steel-Types like Kitsunoh, Cawmodore, Scizor, and Mega-Metagross that are immune to or resist Fighting-Type coverage. Superpower is a 100% accurate coverage move that hits Heatran and Colossoil in their weaker Defense stat; however the Attack drop prevents Tornadus-T from using the move repeatedly, while the Defense drop makes it more susceptible to physical attacks, especially since Superpower forces Tornadus-T to run a Hasty nature. Its power is not cut in half in the Rain, unlike Heat Wave. Focus Blast is Tornadus-T's most powerful special coverage moves and hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt (Krilowatt's defenses are the same, so this isn't necessary), and Naviathan harder than Superpower, and its power is not cut in half in the Rain, unlike Heat Wave. It has 70% accuracy though, which makes it unreliable since Tornadus-T will have to rely on two 70% accurate moves as primary attacking options. Knock Off removes a foe's item, which is always helpful. Hidden Power Ground 2HKO's the roster of pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble, including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta, and does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm, though this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team need to lure the aforementioned checks.

Set Details
========

Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, but it's why Tornadus-T is so effective. (Some more explanation on why its so effective is needed.) 252 Speed EVs and a Timid Nature maximizes Tornadus-Therian's speed (Allowing it to speed tie with Syclant and outpace anything slower). Though it lowers the power of U-turn and Knock Off, those moves are used mostly for switching and removing items anyways. However, a Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen. 160 Special Attack EVs guarantees the OHKO on Keldeo with Hurricane and the 2HKO on Mega Crucibelle with Hidden Power Ground. The 96 HP EVs increases Tornadus-T's bulk, allowing it to survive powerful hits from full health, most notably Bullet Punch from +6 Cawmodore and the combination of Hurricane and Nature Power from Life Orb Tomohawk. However, Stealth Rocks must be cleared in both situations, and it must switch into Cawmodore before or while it uses Belly Drum. Furthermore, to act as an emergency check to Cawmodore, it must run Heat Wave and a Timid Nature.

Usage Tips
========

Generally in the early game, Tornadus-T should wear down the opponent's team with Knock Off and U-turn by switching into special attackers like Keldeo, Tomohawk, Heatran, and Aurumoth. It can clean once its checks have fainted with Hurricane and its coverage moves late game. Generally Tornadus-T should U-turn when it needs to recover, but it should hard switch if it will be hit with a priority attack. Knocking off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late game. At full health with a Timid Nature, it can switch into Cawmodore without problems, as long as Stealth Rocks are cleared from the field. Whether it has used Belly Drum or not, Cawmodore loses to Heat Wave unless Rain is in effect, as +6 Bullet Punch cannot OHKO Tornadus-T.

Team Options
========

Spinners, such as Tomohawk and Colossoil, and Defoggers, such as Mega Scizor, Latios, and Skarmory and clear rocks off the field, which allows Tornadus-T to take full advantage of Regenerator's recovery. Volt Switch and U-Turn users such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Assault Vest Colossoil, and Syclant make great partners to keep up momentum. Rotom-W and Mega Scizor can tank physical hits with ease and resist Ice-Type attacks, AV Colossoil can absorb Electric-Type and Rock-Type attacks, and Syclant can get free switch ins by absorbing a Rock-Type attack with Mountaineer. Teammates appreciate Tornadus's Knock Off to remove items, such as Volkraken's Choice Scarf. Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Cyclohm, and Clefable make great teammates because Tornadus-T cannot survive strong physical attacks

Tornadus-T works very well on Rain teams, so Politoed and Mega-Swampert make great members of a strong core because Tornadus-T takes out the Grass-Type Pokemon, such as Mega Venusaur, Necturna, and Serperior that hurt Mega-Swampert with 100% accurate Hurricanes. In return, Mega-Swampert can tank the Electric-type and Rock-type moves that hurt Tornadus-T and hit hard with strong physical moves. Although this set works in Rain, Life Orb is generally a better set to use because of the higher damage output. Tornadus-T should run a Fighting-type coverage move in this situation as well, as Heat Wave's damage output is halved.

Mention wallbreakers and powerful, frail Pokemons who appreciate the U-turn, such as Hoopa-U and Specs Volkraken. They love the pivoting, and can get free switch-ins from the switches Tornadus-T forces.

U-turn allows Tornadus-T to pivot out and take advantage of Regenerator, which mitigates Life Orb recoil. (It also helps grab mometum/wear down checks.) Hurricane is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain. (Gives some damage calcs so the reader gets an understanding of how hard it hits. Not the actual calcs btw, just notable 2HKOs/OHKOs.) Superpower finishes off Chansey after a Knock Off and Stealth Rock damage and hits Colossoil and Heatran for large amounts of damage.
Focus Blast is a good alternative Fighting-type coverage move, hitting most threats harder such as Rotom-W, Krilowatt Again with krilowatt, see above set and Cyclohm for great amounts of damage, but running two 70% accurate moves can be risky. Knock Off removes foes items like Choice Scarf and Assault Vest, which might otherwise force Tornadus-T out. Hidden Power Ground 2HKO's the roster of pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble, including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta, and does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm, though this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team needs a lure. (Differentiate the wording a bit to make it more interesting. Note the extra damage HP ground does to these threats.)

Set Details
========

Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, and it mitigates Life Orb recoil. 76 Attack EVs nets a KO on Chansey with the combination of Stealth Rock damage, Knock Off, and Superpower. 252 Speed EVs and a Hasty Nature maximizes Tornadus-Therian's speed (So it can speed tie with Syclant and outpace anything slower.) Hasty Nature is used over Timid so not to compromise Superpower's damage output. If not using Superpower, an EV spread of 252 SpA / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe with a Timid nature should be used to maximize Tornadus-T's damage output from Hurricane and Focus Blast. Knock Off and U-turn are used for utility, so Attack EVs aren't needed when not running Superpower.

Usage Tips
========

Early game, use U-turn to keep up momentum and Knock Off to cripple foes. Make sure not to use U-turn when below 10% HP, otherwise Life Orb recoil will knock out Tornadus-T. Later on, use Hurricane and coverage moves to knock out worn down opponents. Even though Tornadus-T has decent bulk and Regenerator, it wants to use Regenerator to heal off Life Orb recoil. Bringing Tornadus-T in with slow U-turn and Volt Switch can keep it from being worn down easily. Hard switch if you need to preserve Tornadus-T but will be hit with a priority attack before U-turn hits. Knocking off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late game. Outlast Tornadus-t's checks and counters through U-turn and Regenerator until it can break through with Hurricane or a coverage option.

Team Options

Again with wallbreakers who like u-turn, again with the copy/paste. That's not acceptable.

Taunt can be used (on LO sets) to stallbreak and to prevent the opponent to heal, though Assault prevents the use of the move. Iron Tail can OHKO Mega-Diancie and 2HKO's Clefable when boosted by Life Orb. Icy Wind can slow down faster foes like Stratagem and Mega Manetric on the switch. (It helps remove bulky Ground-types as well.) Rain Dance and Tailwind are two good utility moves that Tornadus-T can take advantage of, but Tomohawk and Fidgit respectively can use the moves better, the former taking advantage of Prankster and the latter taking advantage of Persistent.

Checks and Counters
===================
These should be **Electric-types**, not **Electric Types**
Electric Types:
Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm resist Hurricane and can tank Tornadus-T's attacks besides Life Orb boosted Focus Blast.
Special Walls: Chansey and Jirachi can easily take Hurricanes and other Special Attacks, but they have to watch out for a predicted Knock Off
Rock Types: Stratagem, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Diancie, and Base or Mega Crucibelle can hit hard with their Rock-Type STABs; however, Tornadus can hit them with Focus Blast, Superpower, or Hidden Power Ground
Faster Attackers: Choice Scarf users such as Volkraken, Jirachi, Kitsunoh, and Kyurem-B can oustpeed and hit Tornadus-T hard, but they run the risk of switching into a Knock Off. Weavile can outspeed and OHKO with Icicle Crash, (But can't switch in reliably.)
Priority Attacks:
Scizor's Bullet Punch, Mega-Metagross's Bullet Punch, Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Talonflame's Brave Bird, and Colossoil's Sucker Punch are common forms of priority that can hurt Tornadus-T and force it to switch
Status: Paralysis ruins Tornadus-T's amazing speed, while Burn and Poison compromise Regenerator's effectiveness.

This is coming together nicely. Implement this check and tag me for that final QC check.

It's less about Krilowatt's Defense and Special Defense stats being equal and more about Tornadus-T's Special Attack stat being higher than its Attack.

Moves

U-turn is essential, as it allows Tornadus-T to pivot out, take advantage of Regenerator, gain momentum, and wear down checks. Knock Off removes a foe's item, which is always helpful. Additionally, Hurricane is mandatory because it is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but its 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain. Heat Wave hits Steel-types that are immune to or resist Fighting-type coverage, (AC) like such as (the list-specific part should be mentioned before the actual list) Kitsunoh, Cawmodore, Scizor, and Mega-Metagross that are immune to or resist Fighting-Type coverage. Focus Blast is Tornadus-T's most powerful special coverage moves and (Avoid saying what something is) hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Naviathan harder than Superpower, and its power is also ('also' fits in, because a similar point was mentioned previously) not cut in half in the rain, unlike Heat Wave. It has 70% accuracy though, which makesing ("making" works here; it also reduces the amount of words use to get across a simple point) it unreliable since Tornadus-T will have to rely on two 70% accurate moves as primary attacking options. Hidden Power Ground 2HKO'es the roster majority (I don't think 'roster' is the right word to use, though feel free to keep it if you think it's common enough to be used) of Pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble (this feels like fluff to me), including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta, and does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm,. However, though (this sentence is waaaaaay too long) this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team needs to lure the aforementioned said checks (aforementioned is used so many times, it's practically a tradition here in C&C. Generally avoid using it, because it's just too clichéd).

Set Details
========

Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, but helps gaining (again, avoid saying what something is) momentum while recovering and is why Tornadus-T is so effective. It also lets it recover with an Assault Vest without a draining move. 252 Speed EVs and a Timid nature maximizes Tornadus-T's Speed, which allows it to Speed tie with Syclant. Though it lowers the power of U-turn and Knock Off, those moves are nonetheless (maintaining a sense of formality is key--"anyways" is fairly informal, and would fit in an article, but not an analysis) used mostly for switching and removing items anyways. However, a Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen. 160 Special Attack EVs guarantees the OHKO on Keldeo with Hurricane and the 2HKO on Mega Crucibelle with Hidden Power Ground. Generally, (AC) Tornadus-T should U-turn when it needs to recover, but it should hard-switch (AH) if it will be hit with a priority attack. Knocking off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late-game (AH). At full health with a Timid nature, it can switch into Cawmodore without problem successfully, (this is kind of a subjective change; I just thought "successfully" sums up the point better than "without problem") as long as Stealth Rocks are cleared from the field. Whether it has used Belly Drum or not, Cawmodore loses to Heat Wave unless rain is in effect, as +6 Bullet Punch cannot OHKO Tornadus-T. (this last point does not link to rain, as Cawmodore cannot OHKO Tornadus-T both with and without rain..)

Heat Wave is a nice alternative coverage move as it is drawback free and hits Cawmodore, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Kitsonuh harder than Superpower or Focus Blast, but it misses out on coverage against Heatran, Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Rock-types. Hidden Power Ground is an option if Tornadus-T needs to lure out certain threats, as it 2HKOes Crucibelle and Heatran and OHKOes Plasmanta, and if Stealth Rocks are on the field, it 2HKOes Cyclohm and OHKOes Mollux. However, it is a weak option; its other moves are much more useful.

Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Assault Vest Colossoil, and Syclant make great partners to keep up momentum. Rotom-W and Mega Scizor can tank physical hits with ease and resist Ice-type attacks, Assault Vest Colossoil can absorb Electric-type and Rock-type attacks, and Syclant can get free switch-ins (AH) by absorbing a Rock-type attacks with Mountaineer. [OVERVIEW]
Tornadus-T acts as one of CAP's greatest offensive pivots. It can sport uses I am of the belief that you can't "sport sets, with success" Assault Vest and Life Orb sets with great success. Its only ability, Regenerator, gives Tornadus-T the recovery that (this is more specific if you say "the") it lacks in its movepool, which helps mitigate its Stealth Rock weakness. Being a Flying-type, it's it is (It's generally better to use the full form rather than the contraction in analyses) There's no rules on this at all! You can use either one immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which limits its entry hazard damage to Stealth Rock. It has access to U-turn and Knock Off for utility, as well as a powerful a STAB move (just reorganising the stuff here) Good idea in Hurricane. It sits in a great Speed tier, allowing it to Speed tie with Syclant and outspeed Cawmodore. However, Tornadus-T is held back back by Hurricane's low accuracy and its coverage moves with which either cause stat drops or have low accuracy (reworded this because it was quite ambiguous) good. It also has a minor case of four-moveslot syndrome, as it generally wanting wants (yeah, I don't think "wanting" works here) to run all of its coverage and utility moves. Nevertheless, Tornadus-T is an amazing choice for balanced and offensive teams.

U-turn is essential, as it allows Tornadus-T to pivot out, take advantage of Regenerator, gain momentum for its team, and wear down checks. However, its power is not cut in half in the rain, unlike Heat Wave. Focus Blast is Tornadus-T's most powerful special coverage moves and (Avoid saying what something is) hits Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Naviathan harder than Superpower, and its power is also ('also' fits in, because a similar point was mentioned previously) that's up to the writer! not cut in half in the rain, unlike Heat Wave. It has 70% accuracy though, which makesing ("making" works here; it also reduces the amount of words use to get across a simple point) reducing word count by 1 is not our goal; furthermore "which makes it" conveys that Focus Blast IS an unreliable move. "having" 70% accuracy "making" something unreliable confuses the subject and object of what's making what. it unreliable since Tornadus-T will have to rely on two 70% accurate moves as primary attacking options. Hidden Power Ground 2HKO'es the roster majority (I don't think 'roster' is the right word to use, though feel free to keep it if you think it's common enough to be used) of Pokemon with a double Ground-type weakness that would normally give Tornadus-T trouble (this feels like fluff to me) This is 10000% NOT fluff, because it calls out Pokemon Tornadus would normally NOT beat. This is important because it can completely change the role of the Pokemon from a pivot to an offensive lure, including Mollux, Heatran, Crucibelle, and Plasmanta; (SC) it also and does a decent amount of damage to Cyclohm,. However, though (this sentence is waaaaaay too long) this is a weak option that should only be considered if the team needs to lure the aforementioned said checks (aforementioned is used so many times, it's practically a tradition here in C&C. Generally avoid using it, because it's just too clichéd). I disagree!

Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, but helps gaining (again, avoid saying what something is) This is correct! Why is better than what. momentum while recovering and is why Tornadus-T is so effective. Regenerator is not necessarily why this Pokemon is so effective. Regenerator + U-turn is what lets it be a great pivot but lots of things have Regenerator. Generally I see "x is why y pokemon is good" and it sometimes doesn't explain the whole picture. It also lets it Tornadus-T recover with an Assault Vest without a draining move. 252 Speed EVs and a Timid nature maximizes Tornadus-T's Speed, which allows it to Speed tie with Syclant. Though it lowers the power of U-turn and Knock Off, those moves are nonetheless (maintaining a sense of formality is key--"anyways" is fairly informal, and would fit in an article, but not an analysis) We're not robots, we can use informal language used mostly for switching and removing items anyways.But say "anyway" instead However, a Hasty nature should be used if Superpower is chosen.

Usage Tips
========

Generally in the early-game, Tornadus-T should wear down the opponent's team with Knock Off and U-turn by switching into special attackers like Keldeo, Tomohawk, Heatran, and Aurumoth. It can clean with Hurricane and its coverage moves late-game once its checks have fainted with Hurricane and its coverage moves late game (original implied that once its checks have fainted with Hurricane, but I think you meant it can clean with Hurricane). Generally, (AC) up to you to implement Tornadus-T should U-turn when it needs to recover, but it should hard-switch (AH) no hyphen if it will be hit with a priority attack. Knocking off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late-game (AH). At full health with a Timid nature, it can switch into Cawmodore without problem successfully, (this is kind of a subjective change; I just thought "successfully" sums up the point better than "without problem") it's up to you as long as Stealth Rocks are is cleared from the field. Whether it has used Belly Drum or not, Cawmodore loses to Heat Wave unless rain is in effect, as +6 Bullet Punch cannot OHKO Tornadus-T. (this last point does not link to rain, as Cawmodore cannot OHKO Tornadus-T both with and without rain..) It doesn't need to. Cawmodore loses to heat wave, as +6 BP can't OHKO. But if rain is there it won't faint to heat wave and can 2hko

I think this is useful because it directs people to the right set. Tornadus-T should run a Fighting-type coverage move in this situation as well, as Heat Wave's damage output is halved. U-turn allows Tornadus-T to pivot out and take advantage of Regenerator, which mitigates Life Orb recoil. Knock Off removes the foe's items like such as Leave it as "like" here! Such as is fairly closed--implying there are not more examples. Besides, most of the time they can be both used, and it's up to the author. However, snakerattler, it's good to know the differences! Choice Scarf and Assault Vest, whose holders might otherwise force Tornadus-T out. Hurricane is Tornadus-T's most powerful STAB move, but 70% accuracy can be a huge letdown, unless it is used in rain. For example, it (again, don't say what something is) OHKOes Tomohawk, Pyroak, Mega Venusaur, Keldeo, and +1 Aurumoth; and it 2HKOes Unaware Clefable, Mega Scizor, tank Garchomp, and Mega Sableye. Superpower finishes off Chansey after a Knock Off and Stealth Rock damage, (AC) no comma is fine as well and hits Colossoil and Heatran for large amounts of damage. Focus Blast is a good alternative Fighting-type coverage move, hitting most threats harder such as Rotom-W, Krilowatt, (AC) and Cyclohm for great amounts of damage. (AP), but However, the original is ok too running two 70% accurate moves can be risky. Heat Wave is a nice alternative coverage move as it is drawback free and hits Cawmodore, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Kitsonuh Kitsunoh harder than Superpower or Focus Blast, but it this is ok originally too misses out on coverage against Heatran, Rotom-W, Cyclohm, Krilowatt, and Rock-types. Hidden Power Ground is an option if Tornadus-T needs to lure out and KO certain threats, as it 2HKOes Crucibelle and Heatran and OHKOes Plasmanta, and if Stealth Rocks are is on the field, it 2HKOes Cyclohm and OHKOes Mollux. However, it is a weak option, (comma) Tornadus-T's its other moves are much more useful.

Regenerator is Tornadus-T's only ability, and it mitigates the recoil Tornadus-T takes from Life Orb Life Orb recoil (normally I'd change long sentences -> short, but this one was too sure, so I changed the words a bit, just for cohesion (: ). 76 Attack EVs nets a KO on Chansey with the combination of Stealth Rock damage, Knock Off, and Superpower. 252 Speed EVs and a Hasty Nature maximizes Tornadus-T's Speed, which allows it to Speed(space)tie with Syclant and outpace anything slower. Hasty nature is used over Timid so not to compromise Superpower's damage output. If not using Superpower, an EV spread of 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe with a Timid nature should be used to maximize Tornadus-T's damage output from Hurricane and Focus Blast or Heat Wave. Knock Off and U-turn are used for utility, so Attack EVs aren't needed when not running Superpower.

Usage Tips
========

Early-game (AH), use U-turn to keep up momentum and Knock Off to cripple foes. Make sure not to use U-turn when below 10% HP, otherwise Life Orb recoil will knock out Tornadus-T. Later on, use Hurricane and coverage moves to knock out worn-down opponents. Even though Tornadus-T has decent bulk and Regenerator, it wants to use Regenerator to heal off Life Orb recoil. Bringing Tornadus-T in with slow U-turn and Volt Switch can keep it from being worn down easily. Hard switch if you need to preserve Tornadus-T but will be hit with a priority attack before U-turn hits (what do you mean?) and is still useful. Knocking Off a Choice Scarf can allow Tornadus-T to outspeed the Pokemon late-game (AH). Wear down its checks with U-turn and Knock Off until it Tornadus-T can break past them with a Hurricane or a original is ok coverage move; just be wary if it loses its Life Orb.

Spinners, such as Tomohawk and Colossoil, and Defoggers, such as Mega Scizor, Latios, and Skarmory clear Stealth Rock off the field, which allows Tornadus-T to take full advantage of Regenerator's recovery. Volt Switch and U-turn users such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Assault Vest Colossoil, and Syclant make great partners to keep up momentum. Rotom-W and Mega Scizor can tank physical hits with ease and resist Ice-type attacks, Assault Vest Colossoil can absorb Electric- and Rock-type attacks, and Syclant can get free switches by absorbing a Rock-Type attack with Mountaineer. (Did you really copy-and-paste this entire part of the previous set's Team Options? Rephrase it please.) Teammates (Such as? You need a more specific category here) appreciate Tornadus-T's Knock Off to remove an unsuspecting Chansey's Eviolite. Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Mega Scizor, Cyclohm, and Clefable make for great teammates because Tornadus-T cannot survive strong physical attacks. Wallbreakers, (RC) such as Choice Specs Volkraken, Hoopa-U, and Kyurem-B appreciate the momentum gained by Tornadus-T. (Why?)

Tornadus-T works very well on rain teams, so Politoed and Mega Swampert make for great members of a strong core, with because Tornadus-T takes taking out the Grass-type Pokemon, such as Mega Venusaur, Necturna, and Serperior, that hurt Mega-Swampert these two. In return, Mega Swampert can tank the Electric- and Rock-type moves that hurt Tornadus-T and hit hard with strong physical moves.

Other Options
=============

Taunt can be used on Life Orb sets to stallbreak and prevent the opponent to foe from healing, though Assault Vest prevents the use of the move. Iron Tail can OHKO Mega-(RH) Diancie and 2HKO's 2HKOes Clefable when boosted by Life Orb. Icy Wind can slow down faster foes like Stratagem and Mega Manetric on the switch. It also wears down bulky Ground-types like Colossoil, Landorus-T, and Garchomp. Rain Dance and Tailwind are two good utility moves that Tornadus-T can take advantage of, (What do they do?) but Tomohawk and Fidgit, (AC) respectively, (AC) can use the moves better, with the former taking advantage of Prankster and the latter taking advantage of Persistent.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Rotom-W, Krilowatt, and Cyclohm resist Hurricane and can tank Tornadus-T's attacks besides Life Orb-(AH)boosted Focus Blast.

**Special Walls**: Chansey and Jirachi can easily take Hurricanes and other Special moves, but they have to watch out for a predicted Knock Off.

**Rock-types**: Stratagem, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Diancie, Crucibelle, and Mega Crucibelle can hit hard with their Rock-Type Rock-type STAB moves; however, Tornadus-T can hit them with Focus Blast, Superpower, or Hidden Power Ground.

**Faster Attackers**: Choice Scarf users such as Volkraken, Jirachi, Kitsunoh, and Kyurem-B can oustpeed and hit Tornadus-T hard, but they run the risk of switching into a Knock Off.
