Something something a fire type

Delphox @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Calm Mind
- Grass Knot
- Psychic
- Fire Blast

Delphox provides a solid answer, and a pretty neat wallbreaker, against the plethora of grass types these 2 mon invite and extra insurance against steel types not named durant (which alomomola can handle to an extent) while in return diancie helps with the dark types that annoy delphox and alomomola helps with the opposing water types that give delphox the most trouble in slowking and sharpedo, wearing them down with toxic.

Ok and with that lets move on to a new core:

(Diancie) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Stealth Rock
- Heal Bell

(Virizion) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

(Sigilyph) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Heat Wave
- Calm Mind
- Roost

Deadline: January 21

Camerupt @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 248 HP / 176 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power Ice

OHKOs all three members of this core(well diancie can live after rocks but diamond storm doesnt do much), and can actually switch in on each relatively well.
176+ SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Virizion: 426-504 (131.4 - 155.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
176+ SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Diancie: 236-278 (77.6 - 91.4%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
176+ SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Sigilyph: 319-376 (111.5 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Infernal

Banned deucer.
Durant
@ Choice Band
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- X-Scissor
- Thunder Fang

Iron Head vs. Diancie: 240.7 - 284.2%
Iron Head vs. Virizion: 104.9 - 123.8%
Iron Head vs. Sigilyph: 109.4 - 129%

Durant is faster than the entire core and scores a clean OHKO on every member with CB Iron Head as long as Hustle treats you well! What does the core do back? Diancie does 38.5 - 45.5% and 38.9 - 45.9% with Diamond Storm and Moonblast, respectively. Virizion does 53.6 - 63.4% with Close Combat, and much less with everything else since Durant is resistant to Leaf Blade and takes Stone Edge well. Although better to try to come in unscathed, the calcs show that Durant is capable of coming in at least once against them if necessary and applying pressure with its strong attacks. Avoid coming in on Siggy unless you are sure they are using CM or Roost, as Air Slash and Heat Wave make Durant go poof.

Ok time for new core:

(Gallade) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Zen Headbutt
- Close Combat

(Aerodactyl) @ Life Orb
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Pursuit
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stone Edge

Deadline: January 24

Infernal

Banned deucer.

Flygon
@ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Fire Punch

With its resistance to EdgeQuake, Flygon can comfortably switch into Aerodactly and KO it with a strong CB Outrage (115.6 - 136.5%). Although Flygon can't directly switch into Gallade as easily, it's faster and also kills effortlessly with Outrage (125.6 - 148.3%). If you predict your opponent to switch in fear of dying to your attacks, Flygon can also choose to U-turn and grab some momentum. Scarf is an alternative for its ability to get the jump on Aerodactyl, but doesn't have the power to guarantee a KO on both members of this core without some prior damage. Seeing how Aerodactyl can't really touch Flygon regardless, CB works just fine.

Here's a check; sorry for butting in

Granbull @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Close Combat

Thanks to Intimidate, Granbull can switch into Aerodactyl and unboosted Gallade rather well, pressuring to OHKO both of them with its STAB Play Rough. While pretty good, it's not perfect as there is a very high chance for Aerodactyl to 2HKO Gran if it switches into Stone Edge and Gallade's +1 Zen Headbutt can comfortably 2HKO gran. If these results aren't desired, Leftovers can be an option to avoid the 2HKO from Stone Edge, but the loss in power is significant.

Threat:

Tangrowth @ Choice Specs / Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Knock Off
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast
- Leaf Storm

Tank hits from both the members and kill them both with leaf storm. Pretty straightforward really.

Partner:

Durant @ Choice Band
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Baton Pass
- X-Scissor
- Iron Head
- Superpower

Provides an answer to bulky fairies, mons that these 2 can struggle with. It also provides an important grass resist, a wallbreaker to soften mons for aerodactyl and gallade in general and momentum is necessary. Etc, etc. Durant things.

Cheers!

Threat :

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Foul Play
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

A +0 Gallade's knock off gets hardly 25-30% so the most obvious cause will be to choose swords dance so the player doesn't needs to do somthing but foul play which will be guaranteed OHKO. Next a choice band flygon's eq will do 35% damage and stone edge will do 55% so the best choice is to use WoW which will half the damage and then you can safely use foul play.

Partner :

Audino-Mega @ Audinite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Dazzling Gleam
- Wish
- Protect

For some reasons if one can't set up WoW or due to any other reasons then audino-mega is the one which easily tanks gallade's zen headbutt and close combat somewhere like 35% and then 2HKO gallade with its Dazzling Gleam in the mean time you may wish/cm. It also easily tanks stone edge from a lo aerodactyl which 4HKO audino-mega (27.5% - 32.6%).

Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Drain Punch

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body

Sigilyph @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Flash Cannon
- Dazzling Gleam
- Heat Wave

252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Venusaur: 328-385 (90.1 - 105.7%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Sigilyph Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Diancie: 208-250 (68.4 - 82.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Yeah this thing beats everything except Diancie one v one (wtf is this Diancie spread, and also that Venu spread for that matter o_o), and Diancie can't switch into any attack if rocks are up (except heat wave, but you aren't clicking that here). Also Flash Cannon Sigilyph is legit IMO.

atomicllamas, look in QC imoimo

Fletchinder
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Def / 28 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Steel Wing

Our resident Diancie lure is here to save us! So Fletchinder can switch into Giga Drain and HP Fire from Venusaur easily and proceed to Swords Dance. It can also at least switch into Scrafty after a KO to setup SD and live any one hit. As for Diancie, well it's meant to lure in Diancie and then take it apart with Steel Wing.

Garbodor @ Black Sludge/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Acid Spray
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb

Garbodor's mono-Poison typing allows it to switch out into a lot of common pokemon such as virizion , lilligant and also its a good physical attackers check like hitmonlee and scrafty. Moreover with 95 attack investment its gets a powerful STAB move in Gunk Shot so it becomes easy to handle these stuffs.
[Here] Garbodor can easily handle venusaur , scrafty and diancie. ----v

92+ SpA Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD: 69-81 (18.9 - 22.2%) -- possible 5HKO
0 Atk Garbodor Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Venusaur: 144-171 (39.5 - 46.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Scrafty Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Garbodor: 121-144 (33.2 - 39.5%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO
-1 0 Atk Garbodor Gunk Shot vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Scrafty: 73-87 (23.5 - 28%) -- 83.7% chance to 4HKO

4 Atk Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Garbodor: 97-115 (26.6 - 31.5%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
0 Atk Garbodor Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Diancie: 87-103 (28.6 - 33.8%) -- 98% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Info- Nothing much but this mon is terrefic against these 3 mons I guess no more explanation needed since its self explanatory.[I've done it practically]:toast:

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Clear Smog
- Flamethrower
- Taunt

not super out there, idt. taunt weezing is a neat and rather broadly applicable tech given that tspikes are kinda a hit-or-miss thing by nature, and since i really hate pain split on this i'd much rather get creative w/that slot (everything else is mandatory, barring the possible sludge bomb > smog). in this context, it's stifling heal bells in order to outlast this, but it can function as a little something to, say, keep stuff like rhyperior / lix from sr'ing on you freely, preventing a lefties gonner from durdling and just going for some pp stall, etc etc. obviously this doesn't love switching into knock due to a heavy focus on sludge recovery, but otherwise its pretty actively pressuring this core w/o straining much, and pairing w/wish support is hypothetically pretty simple.

Top Three threats:
1.Fletchinder
2.Sigilyph
3.Weezing

Now let's go to the new week:

+

Camerupt-Mega @ Cameruptite
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Ancient Power

Sharpedo @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Crunch
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Protect

You may now post threats

Deadline: Febuary 4

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Circle Throw
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Walls Sharpedo, outspeeds and OHKOs Camerupt, plus can switch into any move bar Earth Power well.

0 SpA Poliwrath Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Camerupt: 252-300 (89.6 - 106.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Poliwrath Circle Throw vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Sharpedo: 282-332 (100.3 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

WallBreakdancing (Hitmonlee) @ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
- Mach Punch

Having used this core personally, I can say that this is one of, if not the most threatening mon to this core. Yeah, it's not gonna switch in anytime soon, but if it gets a free switchin it can proceed to easily OHKO both of them, Camerupt with HJK and Sharpedo with mach punch. There really isn't much else to say. Cheers!

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Reversal
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Sucker Punch

Dugtrio doesn't necessarily switch into it, but it has a positive match-up versus both mons. Sash allows Dugtrio to check Sharpedo more reliably with a speed boost, and Earthquake KO's it anyways. Sucker is there to allow Dugtrio to at least get prior damage off on Sharpedo if it's sash is broken.

Reserving fatass Alomomomomomola

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Waterfall
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect

Since Mega camerupt isnt packing toxic, alomomola have little to fear from these 2, easily switching into every move these 2 may use. Waterfall to actually beat mega camerupt 100% of the time since it will always OHKO and toxic to beat sharpedo through life orb recoil and poison damage.

Venusaur @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Sludge Bomb
- Knock Off
- Sleep Powder

Forms a FWG core, handles bulky waters, provides Knock Off and sleep support, pretty basic xp

Granbull @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell
- Thunder Wave

Believe it or not, fighting types might be an issue for this core, as lo hitmonlee, dd scrafty, sd virizion can all disrupt this core. Granbull is a solid check and even counter to all of those and can handle the threats simply with its powerful play rough and thunder wave, even can provide heal bell support.

I'm not entirely sure where you're getting the calcs against Mega Camerupt.

252 SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Granbull: 382-451 (99.7 - 117.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Earth Power vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Granbull: 313-370 (81.7 - 96.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
8 Atk Granbull Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Camerupt: 170-200 (60.4 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

So basically you get rekt by Mega Camerupt that too very easily by its Fire Blast or by earth power to simply get a 2HKO which has 100% accu. Moreover Mega Camerupt outspeeds so it has a clear chance to win 1 on 1. Granbull can only take out sharpedo with its play rough which OHKOs but your opponent having this core will be psure that you will use play rough so its obvious that it will switch to camerupt-mega and set up on it.If your opponent doesn't changes then you have 90% chance that your play rough will hit that means it may / may not win whereas sharpedo's hydro pump 2OHKO.

Comments- Its good you have contributed something to this thread but granbull doesn't do much to this core , only thing that can take over this core is mind game.I just don't think its worth to beat that core.
