Hello and welcome to the ASB arena, darkness edition! The moon shines through the clouds as our battle begins with a CAP Brawl - Krillowatt sending giant bolts of lightning through Tomohawk, who is unable to evade the Thunder (25 Damage / -7 EN). Teammate Chandelure assists in the attack, with an incredibly powerful Fire Blast, which drives the flying lion up the proverbial wall (19 Damage / -7 EN). Lucario does not approve of the bullying here and jumps in to help Tomohawk, flashing black fangs and Crunching down on the oversized candlestick (17 Damage / -6 EN).However, it seems as if Chandelure was as spicy as a Vindaloo, as Lucario's mouth is engranged by Burning sensations. Spitting out the Chandelure and wishing he'd gone for a nice Tikka Masala instead, Lucario sighs as the Chandelure is blasted up by a rogue Earth Power blasting from Tomohawk (18 Damage / -7 EN). White Belly now tries for a Hurricane (-7 EN) at Tomohawk... but the gigantic fury of winds is sent way off course, making some of the crowd members scarper from the seats they'd reserved. As security tries to prevent any riots in the local area, Revenankh gets in on the Chandelure killing action, shredding it with a Shadow Punch (18 Damage / -3 EN). Suddenly, Lucario feels a burning pain (2 HP Damage).

Tomohawk's prankster ways suddenly cause him to be a real prank... and use Roost (+20 HP / -13 EN). This temporary loss of flight makes the sceond Thunder au Krillowatt MUCH less painful (17 Damage / -11 EN). Chandelure keeps things neat and tidy, and follows the attack through with a Heat Wave (15 Damage Tomohawk / 14 Damage Revenankh / 25 Damage Lucario / -6 EN). Lucario, aware of it's burn, blasts a Dark Pulse (14 Damage / -6 EN). Dragonite makes the next attack of the action, scalding Tomohawk lightly with a Thunderbolt (13 Damage / -7 EN). Revenankh finishes up the round by giving Chandelure the ultimate Coup-De-Grace with a Critical Hit Shadow Punch (23 Damage / -7 EN). As the lanturn falls, Lucario feels the burnuing continue (-2 HP). Ouch...

OK, perhaps not so flavor heavy, but here we go!

Tomohawk begins by Roosting (+20 HP / -12 EN), whilst Krillowatt seems ready to Detect (-7 EN) any onslaught. Lucario's up to bat, and bats a Rock

Slide
at Claws, White Belly and Fried, the latter of whom dodges with ease (5 Damage Claws / 5 Damage White Belly (Multiscale) / Krill blocks 6 Damage for 2 EN / -6 EN). White Belly Flinches, as Claws begins with an Acrobatics on Chinook for impressive damage (23 Damage / -7 EN). Revenankh tries a major combo on Krill, but the pesky little fellow dodges the Wring Out + Hammer Arm combo (33 Damage blocked for 11 EN / - 24 EN). Lucario's burn flares up again (-2 HP).

Tomohawk now sets up a Stealth Rock over on C$FP's side of the arena (-12 EN). Krillowatt now blasts Tomohawk with a fully powered Thunder which shocks the Shaman (25 Damage / -7 EN). Lucario suddenly burrows underground with a Dig (-10 EN), as White Belly summons a Draco Meteor which smites Tomohawk and KOes him, but not without a price to white Belly (20 Damage / -9 EN). Claws now goes for another Acrobatic(s) display on the mummy, who feels immense pain (23 Damage / -11 EN). Suddenly, Lucario emerges and gains a powerful attack on Krillowatt (12 Damage). Lucario's burn is REALLY annoying now (-2 HP)

Speed Order: Krillowatt ~ Gallade ~ Lucario ~ Dragonite ~ Revenankh / Scizor

G'day folks, Demi Gravidon has just landed on the arena, and will be forever known as DG. Lucario seems to be immensely focussed on something, as Krillowatt fires a Muddy Water, which smashes into DG and Revenankh, lowering DG's accuracy, whilst the water is dodging Lucario (13 Damage DG / 13 Damage Revenankh / -6 EN). Kaxtar, who seems to be snogging the RNG out back (jeez, that's just wrong), will be pleased to say that Gallade's Ice Punch did incredibly damage (25 Damage / -6 EN). Dragonite responds in an Outrage, but a mocking Taunt (-5 EN) from Revenankh is making Dragonite angrier... and more powerful o_O (+2 Atk Dragonite / Dragonite Hitting Revenankh for Outrage). The dragon slices through the mummy at last, slashing the sheets and making Revenankh have to reform, yeowch (22 Damage / -7 EN). Scizor next, tripping DG up with a Wing Attack (18 Damage / -4 EN). Suddenly, Lucario springs up, and with a Frozen Focus Punch scores a Critical Hit with the move for near fatal damage (65 Damage / -21 EN). And 2 more burn damage to Lucario.

Revenankh springs into action now, firing off a Shadow Sneak at Dragonite, KOing it (10 Damage / -2 EN). Krillowatt now blasts DG once more with a Hydro Pump (15 Damage / -7 EN). DG now tries a Pain Split, sapping Krillowatt for tons of restoration (83 HP Krill / 83 HP Gallade / -26 EN). Scizor finishes up by Acrobatics on DG (23 Damage / -7 EN). 2 Burn damage, yah.

Speed Order: Kitsunoh ~ Krillowatt ~ Gallade ~ Lucario ~ Revenankh / Scizor

Kitsunoh is welcomed into the battle with a Stealth Rock intro (-9 HP). Pleasentries aside, Kitsunoh begins with Shadow Claw, which ends up scoring a Critical Hit on DG (22 Damage / -4 EN). DG ignores the newcomer's attacks, and goes for a Leaf Blade on Krillowatt (18 Damage / -7 EN). Lucario then launches an Aura Sphere at Krillowatt (14 Damage / -6 EN). Revenankh now, who summons the aid of the Moonlight to heal him (35 HP Restored / -16 EN). Scizor is quite happy to go for an Aerial Ace on DG, for heavy damage (20 Damage / -4 EN). Krillowatt's Countermethod suddenly appears, using the energy of the Leaf Blade against the now dead sucker (27 Damage / -15 EN)! Burn Damage x_x

Lucario is taking the helm for the Fighting team, showing there power with a Missed Focus Blast (-7 EN). Revenankh makes up for this error with a Hammer Arm to Krill (16 Damage / -6 EN / -1 Speed). Revenankh is determined to not be useless with her low HP, and goes in with a Power Whip + Shadow Sneak combo (29 Damage / -17 EN). However, this glory is long lived as Kitsunoh KOes the mummy with ShadowStrike (21 Damage / -9 EN). Krillowatt follows up with a Muddy Water, blinding the battle's newcomer (16 Damage Lucario / 18 Damage Elekid [-1 Acc] / -6 EN). Lucario next, KOing Krillowatt with a Sphere made up purely of a holy Aura (14 Damage / -6 EN). Elekid is up next, wasting time with a Thunder Wave (-6 EN) to the Limber Kitsunoh. Scizor now goes for a Brick Break, smashing Lucario's neck for a Critical Hit (23 Damage / -6 EN). Burn Damage x_x (-2 HP)

Elekid shows Kitsunoh a shot and a half, demonstrating a Thunderbolt on Scizor with a Critical Hit (18 Damage / -6 EN). Scizor finishes up with a second Brick Break on Lucario (18 Damage / -10 EN). 2 MORE burn damage Z_Z.
