Medium Jynx can boost Draining Kiss, Hidden Power and Frost Breath (reminder; Frost Breath always crits), Spirit Away so that Jynx becomes only vulnerable to Steel-type without Mold Breaker, and Serene Grace to annoy foes with Shadow Ball (40% to decrease Special Defense, which is helpful for her).

Competitive Is it too strong for LC? I have no idea, but here we have a improved version of FakeSpeed combo in STABmons, which will allow to do a good amount of damage before opponent can even move, making it a threatening revenge killer. As Ghost and Figthing has neutral perfect coverage, it can use another moves like Toxic Spikes to take advantage of possible switches, U-turn for offensive pivoting or Destiny Bond for possible utility as a Hyper Offense lead.

Lack of power improving item makes it quite hard to break some defensive behemoths, but its ability as revenge killer is impressive.

I do like them.

Exploud's going to need Boomburst with Fighting coverage for Steel and Rock.

Contrary Swampert will be scary (Planning to do Sceptile and Blaziken next to complete Hoenn's starters)

Tyranitarr can't hold a Flame Orb, as it is wearing a costume, so I think Alpha Power is its best ability.


Croagunk has -ate FakeSpeed with a great offensive typing. It will be powerful.


Rhyperior will be a great tank.

Oh, just something I realized, Kaiju Tyranitar gains Golden Rush, which was a move from TNFG. Thing is, it was Aurulong's signature move, and giving legendary signature moves doesn't seem like a good idea in my book. If it needs a reliable Dragon-type STAB we can just invent a new one or maybe use Dragon Hammer? Which actually fits more in my opinion then Golden Rush. Thoughts?

edit: Also shouldn't Spectralate be 1.2x power to match with other -ate abilities? They were nerfed this gen in case you were unaware.

Oh, just something I realized, Kaiju Tyranitar gains Golden Rush, which was a move from TNFG. Thing is, it was Aurulong's signature move, and giving legendary signature moves doesn't seem like a good idea in my book. If it needs a reliable Dragon-type STAB we can just invent a new one or maybe use Dragon Hammer? Which actually fits more in my opinion then Golden Rush. Thoughts?

edit: Also shouldn't Spectralate be 1.2x power to match with other -ate abilities? They were nerfed this gen in case you were unaware.

Well, in my defense, I made the calcs with Spectralate with the multiplier of x1.2

Anyways, Toxicroak's attack doesn't look too powerful, but it has the ability to serve as a potente revenge killer, it'll certainly pressure more offense oriented teams, and with perfect STAB coverage, access to boosting move, powerful enough offensive presence to force switches and even access to Toxic Spikes, it'll certainly be a threat.

Rhyperior looks great, it can be a potent special breaker with a potent defensive typing.

Tyranitar looks potent, with everything being a physical move and with access to Dragon dance... Yep, this thing will be dangerous.

Hey, finally someone can take advantage of Dancer! This Swampert has a good offensive typing and has two ways to be a threat, I think Swords Dance set will be more used due to its speed tier, but being able to take advantage from other Dragon Dancer is certainly a point in its favor.

Heck, and talking about deceptive stats, Exploud will be a threat against walls, it'll have some troubles against offensive teams, but besides Chansey and probably Celesteela, I'm not sure what else can resist this Boomburst. It might be simple in concept, but you don't need anything too fancy to make a Pokemon useful.

Despite its defensive typing, Gliscor will be quite hard to take from physical side, Boosted Leech Life and access to Roost will offer a good way to keep it healthy, it'll be interesting

I like this set a little better... 192 Spe EVs are enough for neutral base 50 such as Azumarill and Mega Mawile. And Work Up is cool for 1v1ing passive 'mons like Chansey, specially since neither Ice Beam nor Thunderbolt have any notable targets. Taunt is also great for overcoming said passive 'mons and could possibly replace Fire Blast since Focus Blast has literally perfect neutral coverage with Boomburst, except for Rock/Ghost and Steel/Ghost though. The nickname is also mandatory otherwise there's a big chance Exploud won't obey your moves.

Reminder that Breakdancer Swampert and Kaiju Tyranitar have good bulk, meaning that they can serve as revenge killer (moreso in the former's case) as they can take a hit, especially with enough HP investment. Both are also dangerous for Landorus-T, as the S+ Threat had almost nothing to stop Kaiju Tyranitar, and while it can finish off Breakdancer Swampert as Landorus is faster, a Dancer Dragon Dance Swampert or Hammer Arm + Contrary will say otherwise as it can carry Ice Punch or Waterfall. Landorus-T's Intimidate will also backfire badly if facing Contrary Breakdancer Swampert.

Competitive Priority boosted Fell Stinger can make Armaldo a powerful revenge killer who can increase its Attack by three levels (!) in the process, it also has access to a +2 Priority Aqua Jet, +1 Rapid spin in case of emergency hazard removal, +1 Smack Down to pressure Flying Pokemon if needes and a +1 boosted Metal Claw that... Ehh, it's not that useful, it can revenge kill fairies I guess, but the other moves offer more utility, specially Fell Stinger.

It can also complement its STAB with EdgeQuake combo and Knock Off if needed, and has Swords Dance and Rock Polish to be used as a Double Dancer. Finally, it can force a good amount of switches due to Quick Hit Fell Stinger, so it can use it at its advantage to put Sticky Web and Toxic Spikes.

Yeah, I created Germ Skin just to add the flavour, Brute Force is the preffered option for Snapdragon Seviper
