Since no one has taken my battle with Kax yet, I'll withdraw it and offer another challenge.

4v4 Doubles
2 Day DQ
Infinite Recoveries/5 Chills
All Pokemon must be in their first stage and be able to evolve (No mid-battle evolution though)
Arena: Unown Soup
The battlers are on a solid platform in the middle of a giant bowl filled with delicous broth. No move restrictions at all, because you can safely go seismetoad on the platform and there is plenty of broth to swampert your enemies with. In the soup, there is one of each letter unown floating in around aimlessly. They are all close enough to pick up, and a battler may use one action each round (they can't just use three unowns) to use any move that begins with that letter. Once an unown is used, it cannot be used again.
I'll take you on danman, provided you're able to wait for me to head off and purchase some new guys so I can actually field 4 LC pokes (it shouldn't take long at all).

EDIT: All approved. PMing Flora as we speak

Baltoy (X) - Danved
Nature: Quiet (+1 SpA, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Types: Ground/Psychic
Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.
Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Ability:
Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!

and because doubles sucks i expect to be really slow at reffing this, might even go over the dq.

And I'm gonna go with Ping and Chilla.

Lets just go to town on the little birdy I say.

Syclar: Icicle Crash (Starly) > Frost Breath (Starly) > Icicle Crash (Starly)
IF Starly is in the evasive part of Fly when it comes to your action THEN use Bug Bite (Baltoy) instead

Porygon: Thunderbolt (Starly) > Ice Beam (Starly) > Thunderbolt (Starly)
IF Starly is KOed then replace all remaining actions with Signal Beam (Baltoy)
IF Starly is in the evasive part of Fly when it comes to your action THEN use Signal Beam (Baltoy) instead

Well, evasive Fly doesn't seem to be a good idea, but there's nothign wrong with using an evasive Agility! Let's go after that annoying ant.

Ulki: Evasive Agility~Unown M: Mirror Coat (S)~Evasive Agility
Danved: Unown B: Blast Burn (S)~Psybeam (S)~Psychic (S)

Round 1

Hey all, we be battling at Unown Soup! Letsa go! Oh wait, what's that weird Ping-thing doing? It's... Downloading something! How to defeat... Ulki? What the heck? You have to cheat for THAT? Well, a +1 Atk boost, eh. How useful!

Ulki starts the match up by quickly using Agility. He swirls and swirls around the arena in an evasive manner. Chilla shrugs and attempts to slam an Icicle Crash into the bird, but it unfortunately completely misses and is crushed into the insides of the soup inside! Danved grabs an Unown shaped as a B and somehow summons a devastating Blast Burn that incinerates Syclar for massive damage! Although, Danved seems a bit weary after performing such a crazy attack. Ping also attempts to target Ulki, but with its Thunderbolt, though the result is clearly the same - a miss!

Chilla isn't saddened by the misses just yet as he picks up his pace and breathes some frost onto Ulki. The frozen air quickly swarms the bird for a delicious critical hit, which is also further boosted by the frosty ant's Technician! Danved locks eye contact onto Chilla and blasts a painful Psybeam into her face. Afterward, Ping generates some frost in its mouth and fires an Ice Beam onto Ulki for great damage! Ulki shrugs off the icy hit and grabs a nearby Unown M, creating a Mirror Coat! A explosive amount of energy is bounced right back at Chilla, which causes her to immediately fly into the air and slam into the "walls" of the arena. Ouch!

Yet again, Ulki anticipates a dangerous amount of assaults directed at him and goes into evasive Agility mode. Chilla desperately tries to stab the bird with an Icicle Crush, but to her disappoint, it misses as always. It's Danved's turn now and it uses its Psychic powers to inflict some painful mind damage onto Chilla! That's not all though, as the Psychic lifts the ice bug into the air and slams her right down onto the surface! The round wraps up with Ping shocking essentially nothing with its Thunderbolt - perhaps it was aimed at Ulki?

Action 1
Ulki: Agility > [7 EN]
Chilla: Icicle Crash (Ulki) > miss [5 EN]
Danved: Blast Burn (Chilla) > (15+1.5) x 2.25 = 37.125 ~ [37 DMG/10 EN]
Ping: Thunderbolt (Ulki) > miss [7 EN]

Danved: Psybeam (Chilla) > (7+3+1.5) = 11.5 ~ [12 DMG/4 EN]
Ping: Ice Beam (Ulki) > (10+1.5) x 1.5 = 17.25 ~ [17 DMG/7 EN]
Ulki: Mirror Coat (Chilla) > (18) x 1.5 = [27 DMG/15 EN]

Danved: Psychic (Chilla) > ((6+2)+3+1.5) = 12.5 ~ [13 DMG/4 EN]

Ok, I think it's time to fry this ant.

Ulki, keep on using Quick Attack on Syclar, until it is KOed. If it uses an Ice Shard+Ice Shard combo on you, use Detect. If Syclar has fainted, alternate between Fly on Porygon, and Chilling for any remaining actions.
Danved, start by using Unown T to Torment Porygon. Then go on the offensive with an Earth Power followed by a Psychic.

Ulki: Quick Attack (S)~Quick Attack (S)~Quick Attack (S)
Use Detect if Syclar uses Ice Shard+Ice Shard.
Use Fly~Chill~Fly on Porygon for any remaining actions, if Syclar has fainted.
Danved: Unown T: Torment (P)~Earth Power (P)~Psychic (P)

I really hate that Agility is apparently a 7 EN auto dodge.

Anywho, time to swing the momentum.

Syclar: Unown E: Endure > Leech Life (Baltoy) > Leech Life (Baltoy)
Porygon: Unkown W: Water Spout > Tri Attack (Baltoy) > Signal Beam (Baltoy)

Round 2

Yo, we're back for action!

Chilla quickly grabs onto an Unown E and Endures herself for the worst! How awesome! Sadly for Ulki, his Quick Attack is too late to smash the icicle ant and manages to do basically no damage whatsoever. Danved goes into a support role this action and uses Unown T to Torment Ping! No more BoltBeams for the round! Not phazed, Ping grabs Unown W and splashes a Water Spout onto both Ulki and Danved for great damage!

Unaware that Chilla cheated, Ulki keeps his Quick Attacks going for no effect. Chilla laughs at the weak bird and targets Danved with a Leech Life, sucking some HP for her own. Danved, thinking that Chilla isn't worth its time, slams an Earth Power into Ping's face. Ping takes the attack with pride and fires off a Tri Attack right back at Danved, which definitely seemed a bit more powerful!

Clueless at what the hell is happening, Ulki keeps on touching Chilla with Quick Attack. Haha, it actually did damage this time! Chilla repeats her last action - a Leech Life into Danved's hard, smooth skin. Mmm, juicy! Danved ignores their battle and uses its Psychic to levitate Ping into the air and slam it right back down! At last, Ping makes its move! It fires a colorful Signal Beam right at Danved, stunning it at that exact moment. Still, the clay doll is by no means defeated as Ulki and it get ready for another brawl with the not-dead-yet Chilla and virtual duck Ping!

Ulki: Quick Attack (Chilla) > [2 EN]
Danved: Torment (Ping) > [10 EN]

Round 3

School sucks more than I thought. I'm so sleepy.

The almighty Danved picks up Unown F and creates an epic-fast Fake Out against Chilla, which flinches her! Ulki happily dives in for the finishing blow a la Wing Attack, striking the little ice ant out! First KO! Hell yahs! Ping just swirls around in an Agility, boosting its Speed to an extremely high and sexy level.

Seeing how Danved is still alive, Ping launches itself into Danved with a lightning-fast Tackle, KOing it at the spot! Ulki just Roosts and recovers some HP.

The last action displays one little evasive Ulki (Agility anyone?) and a silly Ping whose Ice Beam completely misses and melts in the soup of unown. Yuck!

Oh yeah, Torment has ended for Ping. Woohoo!

Action 1

Alrighty, now that that's settled, Tibarn, start byborrowing your old pal Unown D and use Dark Void. If Porygon uses Magic Coat, set up a 15 HP Substitute instead (A1 only). Then hit Slowpoke with a Crush Claw, followed by an Aerial Ace on Slowpoke.
Ulki, start by borrowing Unown S and hitting Slowpoke with a Shadow Force. Then Chill and finish with an Aerial Ace on Slowpoke.

Tibarn: Unown D: Dark Void/Substitute (15 HP)~Crush Claw (S)~Aerial Ace (S)
Ulki: Unown S: Shadow Force (S)~Chill~Aerial Ace (S)

Ok, time to be dastardly.

Ping, start off with a Magic Coat to trigger that substitution. Then it's time we put the hurt on the Starly while we can. Thunderbolt then Ice Beam the pesky little thing.

Lag, it's time for you to be ultra annoying. First off beat Ulki to the punch on Unown S thanks to the +4 priority of Snatch. Use it on Tibarn to grab the substitute for yourself. Then focus on Starly with a Zen Headbutt followed by a Scald.

Ping: Magic Coat > Thunderbolt (Starly) > Ice Beam (Starly)
Lag: Unown S: Snatch (Rufflet) > Zen Headbutt (Starly) > Scald (Starly)

My arms feel like they're going to break apart after I woke up from my rest but I still wanna ref.

For no real purpose other than activating a substitution, Ping creates a Magic Coat that does absolutely nothing at the moment. Tibarn sees that Ping made a Magic Coat... but instead of doing something that Magic Coat affects, he tries to make a Substitute! However, Lag quickly (ironic isn't it) Snatches the Substitute away and uses it as its own! Sneaky! Poor Ulki. He has no S to snatch for himself! Sososolonely!

Weary from the battle, Ulki takes it easy and chills. Tibarn however is so free and locks onto Lag, smashing it with an incredible Crush Claw. No Defense drop since the Substitute took the hit, but oh well! Ping is tired of seeing Ulki's face and strikes a Thunderbolt that electrocutes the poor bird. Finally, the lagging Lag makes a move - it's a Zen Headbutt into Ulki's body! Man, deadfox sure wants him gone!

At last, the final round arrives, with Ulki slicing Lag with an Aerial Ace. This breaks the Substitute in half as if it were a fish being cut up at a cook's hut. Hey, Ping is moving second now! It targets Ulki with an incredibly frosty Ice Beam, though it manages no freeze whatsoever. Tibarn may be slacking, but that doesn't mean he's an Aerial Ace! He dives in and smacks Lag with all his might. Lag shrugs the hit off and sprays a Scald onto Ulki, who's immediately burned on contact!

Lag began it's life a little confused about gender also. (aka apparently I forgot to give it one.)

Lets make it a boy if only for the irony involved in being pink. Onto the important stuff now:

Lag: Unown V: Vacuum Wave (Starly) > Scald (Rufflet) > Curse
Ping: Chill > Agility > Thunderbolt (Rufflet)

IF Starly is not KOed by the time its your action 1 THEN use Unown C: Close Combat on it

Aww, that burn really hurt....

Atleast Ulki can stall for a little by using Unown P for Protect. Forcing Porygon to Close Combat and run out of energy by the end of the round.
Tibarn can start by creating a 15 HP Substitute, then Fly, but stay in the air for the action, then he can safely Fly down on Slowpoke, since Porygon will have gone before him.
Ulki: Unown P: Protect~Dead~Dead
Tibarn: Substitute (15 HP)~Extended Fly~Fly (S)

Round 5

Yo.

Ulki decides to be awesome and take Unown P for Protect, creating a shield around himself. The used-to-be genderless Lag picks up a Unown V for Vacuum Wave that utterly fails to piece the wonderful Protect. Tibarn plays it safe with a Substitute in hand. Ping tries to use Unown C for Close Combat on Ulki, but it fails as well. And then... Ulki faints from the burn. Darn. He's a bit too overcooked to eat...

Tibarn decides to take flight via Fly to dodge everything. Ping uses Agility to increase its Speed, though Lag's Scald misses Tibarn completely.

Ping then tries to fire a Thunderbolt at Tibarn... you know, he's still in the air man? You dumb? Right there, Tibarn dive bombs from the sky and smashes into Lag with his Fly attack. Lag Curses at the damage... actually, it's more like he boosted his Attack and Defense stats! Afterward, Ping was completely unaware that it ran out of energy and faints like a dull toy.

Action 1
Ulki: (Protect):
Lag: (Vacuum Wave Ulki): (4+0) = [4 DMG/3 EN]
Tibarn: (Substitute): -15 HP [12 EN]
Ping: (Close Combat Ulki): (12-1.5) = 10.5 ~ [11 DMG/8 EN]

Action 2

Action 3
Ping: (Thunderbolt Tibarn) > miss [7 EN]
Tibarn: (Fly Lag) > (9+3+1.5) = 13.5 ~ [14 DMG/3 EN] (note: not totally sure what the energy cost is supposed to be - so confusing. going with 3 since it was extended and fly was basically "used already")
Lag: (Curse) > [6 EN]

GO WOOSH AND JANUFF!

Alright, so that last round went well, hopefully we can keep up the momentum.

Janaff, start off by using Unown D to hit our opponents with a Dark Void. Then set up a Reflect and finish with a Toxic on Slowpoke. If Unown D is unavailable A1, set up a 15 HP Substitute.
Tibarn, go all out on Scratchet, smashing him with an Aerial Ace followed by a Wing Attack, and finishing with a second Aerial Ace.

Janaff: Unown D: Dark Void/Substitute (15 HP)~Reflect~Toxic (Sl)
Tibarn: Aerial Ace (Sc)~Wing Attack (Sc)~Aerial Ace (Sc)

Also, Flora, Unown C should be crossed out as well (Close Combat). THANKS DAN! I LIKE TRIPLE CHECKED TO FIND OUT WHAT OTHER UNOWNS WERE USED AND FOR SOME REASON I DIDN'T SEE CLOSE COMBAT

That was a stupid mistake last round and I think it's going to end up costing us.

We can't let that Dark Void get off, so we'll have to just deal with the sub later. The rest should hopefully work out ok for us..

Lag: Unown D: Detect > Water Gun (Rufflet) > Scald (Rufflet)
Woosh: Unown R: Reflect > Brick Break (Rufflet) > Return (Rufflet)

Round 6

Welcome back my fellow gangstars!

Like a ninja, Lag grabs Unown D and Detects from any incoming danger. Woosh won the speed tie but it's not like he needed to anyway as he uses his Prankster to set up a nice, quick Reflect via Unown R! Tibarn goes in and slashes right at Woosh with a super-fast Aerial Ace, causing some bleeding, though some of the damage has been absorbed from the almighty barrier of jesus j christ. Januff finally moves and grabs... nothing.

As Januff sets up his own lovely Reflect (that's actually natural), Tibarn smacks Woosh with a Wing Attack, knocking the little idiot sideways. Wow sleep sucks now deck please fix it jk. Anyway, Januff wins the speed tie... oh wait he moved already. Woosh hits Tibarn with a Brick Break and smashes the Reflect along the way. Lag shoots a Water Gun at Tibarn that breaks the Substitute in half.

Still taking advantage of his ability, Januff quickly intoxicates Lag with his nasty breath (because he never brushes his teeth). Tibarn dives right at Woosh for a crippling Aerial Ace slice through THE HEAD! Well, not like it went critical... but that's beside the matter. Woosh immediately wakes up from the hit, but he's is losing it! At the very least, he's able to smack Tibarn in Return! Lag wraps up the round by blasting a Scald into Tibarn's butt, which was hot and warm, but doesn't inflict a single burn. Oh no.

Action 1
Lag: (Detect)

Round 7

Time to jump some niggas.

Woosh uses the hax of Prankster to win the speed tie with Januff and move first into combat. He fires off a Confuse Ray at Tibarn that will last for 2 actions. NOW Januff moves in and Taunts Woosh, stopping any naughty things from happening in the future. Luckily, Tibarn manages to not hit himself in confusion and Fly, gaining invincibility frames. Lag grabs a Unown H and Head Smashes Tibarn, though misses terribly. Right after, Tibarn dives downward and smashes into Woosh for major damage! Lag's Curse boost wears off here.

Once again, Tibarn abuses the power of Fly to avoid any hits this action. Lucky again too - he doesn't hit himself and is no longer confused as a result! Useless Confuse Ray is useless. Woosh uses Unown I to send an Ice Burn flying... at nothing. Januff Yawns unexcitedly at Lag... ugh, what a drag. Lag just splashes a Scald into the soup, making it hotter than it should be. At last, Tibarn comes back from the sky and strikes Woosh in the balls.

Tibarn is obviously exhausted from all the flying and so chills to relax his muscles a bit. Woosh attempts to use priority Roost but fails miserably. Januff laughs at his opponent's failure and launches a super effective Focus Blast to the head. Lag finishes things up for striking the ninja-like Tibarn with a Psychic attack. This manages to lift the bird into the air and crash it into the soup for... damage.

After the round, Lag just dozes off into sleep! He shall sleep for 1 action. Also Reflect has faded for poor deadfox!
