    Yo. Yo, this...this beat is made of gunshots. Yo. Tonight's rap battle pits MC danmantincan against DJ NJiggs. Yo.

    Yeah, fuck it, I'm doing this the normal way.

    Anyway, dmtc opens up his all-fire team with Nolan the Darmanitan, while Jiggs starts off with what is probably his best pokemon for this particular battle; a Swampert named Frederick.

    Having the advantage in speed, Dan's dharma baboon gets the first move, gathering dirt, local flora and objects of unsavory origin to build a particularly strong Substitute that bears an uncanny resemblance to a dharma doll, much of which comes apart as Fred Bulldozes the arena a bit, but still stands.

    As Jiggy's Swampert backs into a nearby pond, Nolan proceeds to make his foe pay for damaging his lovingly crafted substitute by charring him with a Will-o-Wisp. In response, the butthurt mudfish launches himself with enough force to climb a Waterfall, destroying the last of Nolan's creation.

    So yeah, both parties are now utterly pissed at one another, and in an attempt to avenge the little doll, Nolan begins charging his lazer. Fred tries to interrupt him by wrecking half the arena with an Earthquake, but it comes short and suffers the full wrath of the Darmanitan's Solarbeam!

    Both pokemon look like they want to tear the living crap out of the other. How will this turn out? Find out after the break!

    Ok, well we got the burn down, which is what we needed.

    Let's start by Enabling Zen Mode, then create a 20 HP Substitute which should activate Zen Mode. Then unleash hell with a Grass Knot followed by a SolarBeam. If he uses Protect A2 or A3, use Work Up and push actions back.

    Round 2: Dolls are scary

    We're back, folks! Prior to the round starting, Nolan tried activating his Zen Mode, but wasn't weak enough to use it yet. However, he was able to set it on standby, so that when he IS weak enough, it'll take effect automatically. That doesn't take too long, as he opens up by building a Substitute with various flora and all that bulldozed dirt. As Nolan turns from a dharma baboon to just a dharma, Jiggy's Swampert lets out a bestial Roar that would make any kaiju aficionado proud. Here, it just terrifies dmtc's deadly doll.

    Perhaps out of terror (or the fact that he's slower in Zen Mode), Nolan can't bring himself to attack fast enough, suffering another round of Bulldozing from Fred before he can conjure the plant life necessary to trip him with a Grass Knot for massive damage. However, all that pent-up rage from last round resurfaces, and the Darmanitan starts charging his lazer...and then firin' his lazer for a colossal amount of damage! How can Solarbeam go without being countered?

    ...turns out Fred was waiting to counter with Mirror Coat, thoroughly vaporizing Nolan's sub! Shame that didn't hit him directly.

    And then, having had enough, Nolan returns to his trainer in fear, forcing his compatriot Tormod the Magmortar to fight in his stead.

    I'd have to say that unless Jiggs recalls his Swampert, Fred's not gonna live for very long...what'll happen next? Find out after the break!
