Darkamber vs C$FP with Smeargle cooking Soup

Status
Not open for further replies.
C$FP's Team:

Aggron [Heavy Head] (Male)
Nature: Careful (+ to Special Defense, - from Special Attack)
Type: Rock/Steel
Rock: Rock STAB; Take 2 less damage from all special attacks during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Sturdy
Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

Ability 2: Rock Head
Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.

Ability 3: Heavy Metal (DW) [unlocked]
Type:Innate
The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight. Additionally, when the Pokemon uses Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Tackle, recoil and uncontrollable attacks [Full list: Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Head Charge, Head Smash, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Hi Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Outrage, Petal Dance, Submission, Tackle, Take Down, Thrash, Volt Tackle, Wood Hammer, and Wild Charge] it will calculate using a Weight Class that adds a value equal to the Pokemon's Weight Class divided by their Size Class, minus (-) one (1). [Ex. HM Aron WC = 5 + ((5 /1) - 1) = 9.

Metagross [Brains] (Genderless)
Nature: Brave (Adds One (1) Rank to Attack; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks.)
Type: Steel/Psychic
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Clear Body
Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s body structure makes it immune to status lowering moves used by opponents. (e.g. Intimidate, Growl, Screech etc.)

Ability 2: Light Metal (DW)
Type: Innate
The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Priority is applied to the summed Base Attack Power of a multi-hit move (e.g. Double Kick has priority at 6 BAP, Skill Link Bullet Seed doesn't at 15 BAP.)

Smeargle (Useless) (M)
Nature: Nature: Timid (Multiplies base Speed by 1.15 and provides a flat accuracy boost on all attacks equal to its new Base Speed squared, then divided based on its evolution stage. [+9% Acc.], subtracts one (1) Rank from Attack.)
Type: Normal

Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:
Own Tempo: (Innate) This Pokemon moves at its own pace and when confused, it will never harm itself in confusion. If the Pokemon also has Tangled Feet, it will raise Accuracy by one (1) Stage.

Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.

Moody (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's traits are always fluctuating from one strength to another. At the end of each round, one of the Pokemon's stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, Accuracy, Evasion) will be boosted by two (2) stages and another will be reduced by one (1) stage. This stat change lasts until the end of that round, where Moody is re-applied, overwriting the boosted and dropped stats. This stat boost/drop occurs outside the normal boosts/drops.

Duclohm - Hydra (F)
Nature: Modest (+1 to Special Attack; -1 to from Attack)
Type: Electric/Dragon
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain.
Dragon: Dragon STAB; Roar has Energy Cost reduced by one (1). (Dragonite line can breathe underwater.)

Abilities:
Shield Dust: (Innate) This pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (eg burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)

Static: (Innate) This pokemon’s body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this pokemon.

Sheer Force (DW): (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

Smeargle's Unown Soup:
Smeargle learns 3 Moves automatically
Amber, learn your moves and post R2 actions, then C$FP can post his R2 actions, then I'll ref both rounds.
Also, don't worry about Dark Void, she learned that in another battle going on concurrently with this one

Round one of boring-ness, gogogo! Since nothing has any effect, I may as well try to raise my stats.

Metagross: Agility * 3

Aggron: Hone Claws * 3

r1: smeargle sketches encore, torment, agility

r2: smeargle spore aggron, reflect, will-o-wisp aggron

if aggron uses unown: magic coat when you use spore or will-o-wisp, aim at metagross instead

duclohm evolves and gets overcoat instead of sheer force, but nobody cares because it isn't unlocked yet

Cyclohm - Hydra (F)
Nature: Modest (+1 to Special Attack; -1 to from Attack)
Type: Electric/Dragon
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain.
Dragon: Dragon STAB; Roar has Energy Cost reduced by one (1). (Dragonite line can breathe underwater.)

Static: (Innate) This pokemon’s body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this pokemon.

Overcoat (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).

"Here goes!"

Metagross: Hammer Arm (Smeargle), Brick Break (Unown B @ Smeargle), Hammer Arm (Smeargle)

Aggron: Protect (Unown P), Heavy Slam (Smeargle) * 2

Smeargle draws Amber like one of his French girls, and learns Encore, Torment, and Agility. Amber, forgetful as usual, threw a large coin at Smeargle, but missed and it went in the soup. Just kidding, Smeargle caught it.

Aggron uses Protect to stop Smeargle from using Spore on it. Cyclohm, newly evolved, fires off a Flamethrower at Metagross, who chooses to damage Smeargle with Hammer Arm.

Smeargle then sets up a Reflect. Cyclohm fires off a Thunderbolt at Metagross. Aggron fires off a Heavy Slam, causing huge damage due to Aggron's heavy, iron exterior. Metagross decides to break the Reflect with a Brick Break aimed at Smeargle.

Smeargle, not liking Aggron, decides to burn it with Will-O-Wisp, but misses. Cyclohm uses another Flamethrower on Metagross. Aggron sits on Smeargle with Heavy Slam again, and Metagross uses another Hammer Arm which faints Smeargle.

C$FP, you're up

Synchronized EQ * 3. If Cyclohm uses Magnet Rise, have Aggron Head Smash and Metagross Smack Down (Unown S) that action. If Unown S is taken when Metagross tries to use Smack Down, have Aggron spam Head Smash and Metagross spam Zen Headbutt.

By all means, kill yourselves for me. There's a 50% chance that you'll be hitting each other with super effective moves, and this pleases me greatly.

Flamethrower ~ Thunderbolt ~ Flamethrower (METAGROSS)

If you win the speed tie with Metagross on A2 or A3, replace that action with Slack Off, but only once.

Once Metagross dies, Unown: Counter, Magnet Rise, Hydro Pump Aggron.

Cyclohm decides it wants revenge on Metagross for fainting Smeargle, and fires off a Flamethrower into its face. Metagross and Aggron both decide to cause tremors, causing big damage to Cyclohm at the cost of hitting each other.

Cyclohm hurls a Thunderbolt at Metagross, who is struck so hard, it faints. Aggron decides to stick with the plan of firing off Earthquakes at Cyclohm.

Cyclohm decides to use Hydro Pump on the lone Aggron, who apparently prefers its soup shaken, not stirred, and uses Earthquake again.

er, can i use counter instead of hydro pump

Unown: Aura Sphere ~ Hydro Pump ~ chill

Ok, I am assuming jayjinde hasn't seen synchronized EQ's before, but whatever, we are still in the lead.

Head Smash, Earthquake, Head Smash

From what I hear on IRC, Synch'd EQs require them to be at the same speed.
And I fixed the Counter thing.

Anyways, Cyclohm pulls the A out of the soup and fires off a powerful sphere of Aura. Aggron decided to start HEAD SMASHING!!!!!

Cyclohm fired off a Hydro Pump, causing Aggron to start more tremors.

Cyclohm, now quite winded, decided to chill. Aggron decided to finish off Head Smashin' and KOed Cyclohm.

GG DarkAmber, and thanks for reffing, jayjinde! (I guess I thought a speed difference of 10 would be low enough for synched EQ's)
