deadfox sends out first

I begin this battle with hilarious new deadfox Trainer Sprite!

"OK new team, time to prove that you're more than just a way to use up left over currency counters! We both seem to have brought quite varied teams and it will be hard to avoid a bad type match up, but thats why we have the soup! A mix of speed and strength will see us through I believe. Get out there Sucker and annoy like only you can. Drogon, I'm going to have to rely on you for the heavy hitting."

EDIT: Also slight typo on my name in the thread title :)

Fancy shmancy... I counter with a less fancy sprite!

Like Deadfox says, it's hard for us to have a good matchup in this case... But Starman, and Boq, you're my best bet I think!

Show him what you've got, boys. Starman, match wits with Zubat! Boq, Deino is yours for now! Don't worry, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Let's see if we can come out on top, just like our first match with Deadfox all that time ago!

Starman: Psychic Zubat >>> Thunderbolt Zubat >>> Psychic Zubat
If Zubat uses Hypnosis against you, use an evasive Teleport and push actions back.

Boq: Ice Beam Deino >>> Ice Beam Deino >>> Ice Beam Deino
If he uses Double Team, use Magnitude and push actions down. Don't worry, Starman can take it.

"Alright boys, time to abuse those Unowns. Our opponent has left a big hole here and we should be able to get rid of one of his big threats right off the bat while avoiding a lot of damage ourselves. Go for it all fellas!"

Sucker: Fly (Boq) > Unown F: Freeze Shock (Boq) > Fly (Boq)
IF
Boq is KOed when you would attack with any action THEN redirect it to Starman

Drogon: Unown S: Shadow Force (Boq) > Crunch (Boq) > Crunch (Boq)

As the battle begins, Drogon grabs a letter out of the Soup and disappears instantly. Sucker decides to pull a more classical approach and floats into the air. Starman tried to throw Sucker with Psychic, but the Zubat was out of range, so it missed. Boq had similar problems with Drogon, except he had no idea where he was. Sucker dive bombs Boq, and Drogon also strikes the golem with a powerful Shadow Force.

Sucker then begins to look as if it was freezing the Soup over, and the air seemed abnormally charged. Drogon simply rushed up to the Golett and bit it so hard you could hear the Crunch of ancient clay. Starman used a powerful Thunderbolt, however, Sucker simply stood frozen in its position. Boq used an Ice Beam on Drogon, hitting the dragon hard. Sucker finally started moving, as ice and electricity were both headed straight for Boq; Sucker used Freeze Shock! The impact of the move left Boq visibly shocked, and it may not even be able to move.

Sucker took to the skies again. Drogon must enjoy the taste of the clay golem, because he went back for seconds. The second shot was too much for Boq, and he fainted. Starman tried using another Psychic on Sucker, but missed again. Sucker now dive bombs Starman, causing it to take a bit of damage.

Hey, leave Starman alone! Damn it, I need him to get a KO Counter.

... Also, Elgyem is amazing. Alch says so, therefore it MUST be true.

NOW THEN, let's see what we've got here...

Starman: Evasive Teleport >>> Unown T: Thunder (Zubat) >>> Psychic (Zubat)

Drain: Ice Beam Zubat >>> Ice Beam (Deino) >>> Unown R: Rage Powder

Remember that non-contact moves have half base power against a mon using Rage Powder.

Starman teleports to an unspecified location. Or Fiji, I'm not sure. In doing so, he dodges a Taunt from Sucker. Drogon is smart enough to redirect its attack, and hits Drain with a Dark Pulse. Drain Ice Beams the mildly confused Sucker, just before Starman reappears.

Sucker flies into the air as Drogon decides to lay a Crunch into Starman. Starman is much smarter than Sucker, and uses its psychic powers to grab the T from the Soup and fires off a nasty thunder at Sucker. Drain fires off another Ice Beam, this time aiming for Drogon. Sucker divebombs Starman and hits him right in the forehead.

Drain jumps into the soup, and after sinking to the bottom, crawls around until it locates the R, and resurfaces and uses Rage Powder. Sucker, feeling quite perturbed with the Shellos, chooses to Leech some Life from it. Drogon then uses a Dark Pulse, which only half-hit due to it being initially aimed at Starman. Starman grabs Sucker and flings him around with Psychic.

Starman: Unown U: U-Turn Drogon >>> Thunderbolt Zubat >>> Recover

Drain rushes to grab an Unown, and looks ready to Detect any attack from its foes. It's a good thing too, because Sucker grabbed an Unown and was about to use Leaf Storm. Drogon used a powerful Crunch on Starman, causing big damage due to STAB. Starman used U-Turn to attempt to get rid of its Taunting, and it was able to after hitting Drogon.

Sucker then Bit Starman, who flinched from the sight of the bite marks. Drogon changed its charges by using Volt Switch on Drain, and removed its blinding. Drain fired off an Ice Beam at Drogon, which hit a weak spot.

Sucker Bit Starman once again, who flinched once again. Drogon decided to bite Drain to hear the Crunch of its bones, and ended up taking another Ice Beam to the face.

"Great work guys, you have given us more than a useful platform to work from. Get out there Glow and Burst, finish off as strong as we started!"

Excellent. But we're not even close to out of the woods yet... Even if we go down, we'll give our friend one hell of a fight either way.

Boys, go down swinging. Maybe with a bit of luck, Corona can take at least one more out...

Starman: Psychic Riolu >>> Psychic Riolu >>> Psychic Riolu

Drain: Unown E: Endure >>> Scald Chimchar >>> Scald Riolu
If Unown E is unavailable, Scald Chimchar instead.

"I think its time to put these two to bed girls. These might not be the most sporting of tactics but they will get the job done. Burst, start off by using Unown E to Endure yourself. The move is useless for you but by virtue of being faster than Drain you will steal it and see an end to water type. Action two you both can pound on the alien and we should have a nice numbers advantage once his final Pokemon reaches the field."

Glow: Force Palm (Drain) > Blaze Kick (Starman) > Bullet Punch (Starman)
Burst: Unown E: Endure > Blaze Kick (Starman) > U-Turn (Starman)

Drain was about to grab the E to use Endure, but was quickly outsped by Burst who used the same move. Glow then used the Force (why couldn't it have been a Lucario 9.9) to kill Drain with the palm of its hand. Starman, knowing it was utterly and completely screwed, just grabbed Glow with its Psychic powers and threw it a bit.

To finish off Starman, deadfox's team fired off a Dual Blaze Kick maneuver which fainted Starman after Burst nailed it right in the "prober" and "memory storage appendages".

Burst: Taunt > Unown B: Brave Bird > Flamethrower
IF Unown B is unavailable when you come to use it THEN use Unown C: Crabhammer instead
Glow: Rock Slide > Unown H: Head Smash > Rock Slide
IF
Unown H is unavailable when you come to use it THEN use Unown W: Waterfall instead

Glow starts the round by causing a small landslide to hit Corona. Burst then taunts it about how badly its going to get hurt this round. Corona could care less, and fires off a Flamethrower at Glow.

Glow and Burst then go grab two Unown, the H and the B, and after Glow smashes skulls with Corona, and Burst quits acting like a bird, both left large gashes in Corona as well as taking a bit of a beating themselves. Corona seems to like fire and fired off another Flamethrower at Glow, this time causing the Riolu to suffer from a mild Burn.

Glow then summoned another rock slide, and that seemed to be all it took to defeat the fiery bug.
