Turn One

Deck_Knight's Shellos

Name: AquaVelva
HP: 100
Energy: 100
Speed: 29
Nature: Quiet
Stat Boosts: None
Other: None

Vs.

Destiny_Warrior's Carvanha

Name: BigJaws
HP: 90
Energy: 100
Speed: 65
Nature: Rash
Stat Boosts: None
Other: None

Action 1:

Right, so this dirty battle begins, and it seems that BigJaws (who is actually only a LittleJaws at the moment) wants to get this thing moving. He starts off by Screeching at the harmless little cute Shellos, but AquaVelva has a trick up her sleeve, as she Protects herself from this awful noise. That stupid ugly fish isn't going to hurt her that easily!

AquaVelva: 7 energy from Protect.
BigJaws: 6 energy from Screech.

Action 2:

With AquaVelva having the upper hand after the first action, it seems that BigJaws wants to set things straight, and he does so by taking a bite out of AquaVelva, Crunching up the little pieces of land turtle jellyfish thing... AquaVelva doesn't like this one bit, and she excretes some Toxic sludge at Big Jaws, making him badly poisoned! BigJaws is still not happy...

AquaVelva: 13 damage from Crunch, 7 energy from Toxic.
BigJaws: 1 damage from Toxic, 5 energy from Crunch.

Action 3:

Now it seems that both Pokemon are in equal positions here, but you can't help feeling for that cute little Shellos... And now you have to feel for her even more, as BigJaws Thrashes the little creature into the moat, and that hurts, a lot. But AquaVelva doesn't like that, and she gets back out of the moat, confronts her nemesis, and launches a Mud Bomb at BigJaws, finally doing some good damage to her foe, and lowering his accuracy.

AquaVelva: 14 damage from Thrash, 6 energy from Mud Bomb.
BigJaws: 12 damage from Mud Bomb, 1 damage from Toxic, 8 energy from Thrash. Accuracy lowered by one stage.

End of Turn 1

While out foe is still Thrashing about, its time for a change of weather. Use Rain Dance, then restore some HP with Recover, then attack with Scald. Our opponent may be resistant to water, but their Special Defense is pitiful.

Rain Dance ~ Recover ~ Scald

Turn Two

Deck_Knight's Shellos

Name: AquaVelva
HP: 73
Energy: 80
Speed: 29
Nature: Quiet
Stat Boosts: None
Other: None

Vs.

Destiny_Warrior's Carvanha

Name: BigJaws
HP: 76
Energy: 81
Speed: 65
Nature: Rash
Stat Boosts: -1 Accuracy
Other: Toxic, 2 damage per action.

Action 1:

Turn Two begins, and we're left on the edge of our seats, as we watch the mighty, rather ugly looking BigJaws take on the small, frail but very cute AquaVelva. BigJaws once again gets things started, thanks to his superior speed. It seems that he is still locked into Thrash, and he smashes our little AquaVelva hard. It seems that he is still locked in for another turn, however. AquaVelva is up next, and she does a little jig, causing the skies to open, and some rain begins to fall.

AquaVelva: 14 damage from Thrash, 10 energy from Rain Dance.
BigJaws: 2 damage from Toxic, 8 energy from Thrash.

Action 2:

The next action starts, and BigJaws Thrashes once more, before getting tired, and confused as to why he is so tired. After all, this fish should be able to go on forever!!! AquaVelva takes advantage of this disruption, and she Recovers off some health, ready for the rest of the match. It seems that she won't be able to recover anymore!

AquaVelva: 14 damage from Thrash, 20 damage regained from Recover, 12 energy from Recover.
BigJaws: 2 damage from Toxic, 8 energy from Thrash. Intensely confused.

Action 3:

Finally, it seems as if AquaVelva has completely turned the tables on BigJaws, who is taking a lot of residual damage. AquaVelva then tries to Scald our poor BigJaws (who I'm starting to feel sorry for now...) but despite being confused, he manages to Protect himself from the boiling water. He definitely got lucky there!

AquaVelva: 5 energy from Scald.
BigJaws: 2 damage from Toxic, 10 energy from Protect. Severely confused.
