All right, here we go. I summon Uberwocky the Bagon in Attack Position!

Uber, fire some Ember at Sparky from afar: aim a little above it and turn your head a bit so it rains down all around it. Then use Dragon Dance to boost up and get away from whatever it's doing. Finish the round with a Facade, then retreat to about 10 feet away.

Oh my, Raining embers? Demonstrate your Thunder Wave in retaliation.

Follow up with an Ice Fang to the neck.

Finally, it wants to retreat? Give it a helping and with a Quick Attack to force it back.

The round begins with Uberwocky, sitting under the torrential rain, attempting to fire an Ember at Sparky. The attack hits, but the blow is dampened by the rain. Sparky manages to almost ignore the hit and fire off a Thunderwave, dampening Uberwocky's activeness.

Sparky follows up this paralyzation with an Ice Fang. Uberwocky is spared the hit, however, as Sparky is momentarily distracted by someone passing by and stops to bark [read: he missed]. Uberwocky takes advantage of Sparky's inattentiveness and begins a Dance taught by his Dragon Elders, raising Attack and Speed through mystical means.

Sparky remembers what he's supposed to be doing and strikes with a Quick Attack, forcing Uberwocky skidding backwards. He recovers and finishes the round with a powerful Facade, which sends Sparky flying across the room.

Where'd the rain come from? Ah, well, it's not really a big deal; none of his guys knows Thunder, and I have other ways of taking care of Trouser Snake.

Remember the semi-evasive Dragon Dance trick that worked last time? Do it again! Then launch a Facade at it from behind; see what it did to it last turn? Finally, if there's water, hide in it and Focus Energy. If there isn't, Headbutt Sparky in the face as it goes for the Ice Fang.

Semi-evasive Dragon Dance~Facade from the rear~see below for final action

If sufficient water is present:
Submerge yourself and Focus Energy

If not:
Headbutt to the face!

As the two green Pokemon stare down at each other across Indigo Plateu, the resting point of Champions, Sparky suddenly leaps forward with ice spreading across his jaw. The attack connects solidly but Uberwocky spins with the blow and transforms it into a graceful pirouette, glowing red as he does so.

Sparky smirks and launches a Hidden Power at his foe. The only way to tell the attack has been launched is a slight warping in the air it passes through until it hits the target. Reeling, the Bagon turns around and charges with a Facade, slamming the Elektrike into a tree.

Sparky manages to recover from the blow, barely standing up, but swings another Ice Fang Uberwocky's way. Unfortunately for the dog-like fish commanding that side of the battle (:P) the attack misses and portions of the grass freeze where he hits. As the Bagon attempts to Headbutt the Elektrike, he is struck by a sudden paralysis and can't move.

Ubie, we're in an interesting situation. Each of us is doing the exact same amount of damage to the other. You're gonna act in response to whatever it does first.

If it uses Ice Fang first:
Headbutt to hit it with the hardest part of your body, Facade from behind, Fire Fang to intercept whatever it does next.

If it uses any other physical attack: Intercept with a Headbutt to the face, Facade to knock it away from you, then Focus Energy and be ready to dodge as it recovers.

If it uses a special attack like Discharge: Dragon Pulse as the attack comes, Headbutt its face as it uses its next move, then launch an almighty Facade from any angle!

If it uses a non-damaging move: Dragon Pulse to interfere, Dragon Dance out of the way of its second attack, then Facade it into a tree!

I feel sorry for Bagon, with such confusing orders...

OK, I'll be nice. Open your mouth and charge up an Ice Fang. This should trigger a headbutt, so when it's about to hit clamp down and unleash the move (If it won't move due to paralysis, walk over there and then use the move).
Now then, Quick attack to dodge the facade, then try to break that focus with another Ice Fang.

Right, let's roll:

The round begins with Sparky the Elektrike being issued orders to Ice Fang Bagon. This triggers an order given to Uberwocky who attempts to fulfill them but is struck by a sudden paralysis. Sparky manages to take advantage of this by walking over and attempting to smack him with an Ice Fang, but somehow slips and misses his target.

Extremely irritated due to his inability to pull of an attack, Uberwocky centers himself and, before Sparky can respond, charges at him with a Facade, which the Sparky attempts to Quick Attack out of the way. However, he doesn't react in time, and is still struck by the majority of the force.

Both Pokemon charge at each other. Uberwocky's jaw starts to glow red and smolder, whereas Sparky causes ice to appear around his jawline, leaving ice and snow behind in the air he bounds through. As they collide and attempt to smack the other with their jaw, the two heads collide and Sparky's icy complexion melts away. The force of the impact causes them to be knocked backwards, Sparky looking somewhat worse for wear.

Maybe it was a typo...? You know, the 6 and 7 keys are right next to each other. XD

Normally, I wouldn't have argued--any sort of cushion against Ice Fang is appreciated--but I can't figure it out, either.

Also, when did Uberwocky turn blue?

I still want confirmation. Also, the flavour indicates that at least 1 ice fang hit.

And how did quick attack not work to dodge? Sparky is naturally faster, and quick attack would boost it.

And for my sanity, the chance of 3 consecutive misses with ice fang is 0.0125%

I have no fucking clue where that extra HP came from, and I'm going to redo the calcs this evening. :P

For the record df, your quick attack halved the damage.

Regarding bagon's colour, my bad, i'm far too lazy to pull the proper sprites off veekun. I hope you weren't too upset :D fixed because that's easy enough to do on a phone.

Also yes, the first ice fang missed and the second fire fang/ice fang thing dealt damage to both, but regular damage iirc. I just flavoured it up in the rp.

So yeah gonna redo to figure out bagons hp tonight. apologies guys!

BROTIP: Highlight the sprite in the thread, right-click, scroll down the menu, and hit the C key. Congratulations, the image is copied and pasteable to the forums.

Apologies if that sounds sassy.

Hm. This is what I call a situation.

Lead with a Headbutt to Sparky's face. Next, Dragon Dance for a little power boost AND to get away from the Crunch. Finish off with a Facade to counter Ice Fang and send Sparky flying away from you!

Headbutt~Dragon Dance~Facade

A lazy ref appeared! It uses procrastinate! mewtwo's reminder prevented the attack from working!

This time, the action is roaring from the get-go as Sparky launches towards the Bagon and freezes his jaw, slamming into Uberwocky who skids backwards. However, not to be outdone, Uberwocky takes advantage of the proximity to the Electrike as he Headbutts him with wicked strength.

Despite taking a large hit from Bagon's technique, Electrike is still close enough to not waste time and bites down on his skull, shaking him from side to side. This clearly frightens Bagon enough to lower his typical defensive prowess. As the little dog throws him off to the side, Uberwocky spins with the momentum and glows red, dancing skillfully to increase the force behind his attacks.

Taking this new-found skill to work, Bagon rushes forward with a powerful Facade attack, but Sparky attempts to counter the attack with an Ice Fang. The dust picks up around the combatants, grass flies everywhere, and when the smoke clears Uberwocky is looking worse for wear but has been cured of any paralysis occuring. Sparky is standing defiant, as if daring him to attack again.

We haven't have seen this one before...

Crunch ~ Ice Fang ~ Crunch

Each crunch should do 8 damage XD

To begin the round, the Bagon immediately charges forward with a Facade attack. However, the attack had lost most of its power when Uberwocky's paralysis was cured, and the blow barely forces the Elektrike backwards. Retaliating quickly, Sparky quickly Crunches down on the Bagon's head, dealing a finishing blow.

Go, Balsamus the Embirch!

Lead with Reflect to soften physical blows. Follow that up with Nitro Charge for speed and damage. Finish up by sowing some Leech Seed!

If it wants physical blows, it's gonna get special ones!

Thunder Wave, then wait for it to Nitro charge/freeze up, and Hidden Power.

Finish up by bruning the incoming Leech Seed with a Flamethrower.
