Sorry I didn't put this up last night, had internet problems which made taking a quiz that I needed to take online last night a real bitch, plus I needed to be up early the next morning. Also, I have a headache so there's a distinct lack of flavor. Anyway...
OPEN SIMPLE CHALLENGE
4v4 Doubles
2 Day DQ; 3 Day DQ for ref.
0 Recoveries / Infinite Chills

Arena: The Arena for Untrained or Weak Pokemon
In this arena, only untrained Pokemon are allowed. This means that each Pokemon must meet at least one of the following criterion:

  1. This Pokemon has less than 20 moves.
  2. This Pokemon's BRT is less than or equal to 16.
  3. This Pokemon's EC is less than or equal to 2.
In addition, the sum of the move counts of all four Pokemon may not exceed 60. That is all.
I'll take that challenge, Engineer, since it's basically the same thing.

Engineer Pikachu:

Volcarona (Taiyo) (F)
Nature: Modest (Special Attack increased by *, Attack decreased by *)

Kills: 2

Type: Bug / Fire
Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gain an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.

Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Superior senses in volcanic or brushfire areas.

Abilities:
Flame Body: (Innate) This Pokemon’s external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.
Swarm (Unlocked): (Innate) When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, X-Scissor from 8 to 10)

Not bothering with OoO because I'm sure you guys know how it goes. Engineer sends out first.

Engineer, you're up!

Alright, we got this, guys. Let's go, Scar and Dust!

I think we should focus on Kame first, guys.

Scar, activate Sheer Force! Then use Thunder Fang > Crunch > Thunder Fang
If Kame uses Protect, insert a Sludge Bomb on Unagi into the queue and push actions back.

Dust, also activate Sheer Force why don't you have Sheer Force :o
Anyway, use Thunder Wave > Thunderbolt > Dragon Pulse, all on Kame. If Kame uses Protect, redirect to Unagi.

Engineer Pikachu

Good morning, you bastards!

Kame: Protect - Bide - hold

Unagi: Acid - Acid Spray (Monohm) - Acid

This should cleanly wipe little Druddigon out next round!

Why oh why am I reffing Doubles? :(

Anyway, the usually-slow Kame starts us off with a Protect! Wonder what for? Dust and Scar, seeing that they can't touch the Tirtouga, turn on Unagi, paralyzing him with a Thunder Wave and striking him with a Sludge Bomb respectively! Unagi retorts, sliming them both with some Acid!

Oh, looks like Kame's strategy is coming into play! He's using Bide! And now here comes the pain since he's open! A Thunderbolt from Dust and a Thunder Fang from Scar! Annoyed at the lack of attention being paid to him, Unagi throws an Acid Spray at Dust, sharply lowering his Special Defense!

Kame is still storing energy, and rickheg's Pokemon are feeding it to him in bunches! Dust nailing him with a Dragon Pulse, then Scar hitting him with a Crunch! Unagi's still around, splashing Scar and Dust with more Acid, but apparently no one cares about him right now. Kame took a huge beating this round, but he has a really menacing glow and is turning towards Scar...

Tamama, we should've gotten Bide for you, too!

Tamama: Tri Attack x3 (Claw)

Unagi, just keep chipping away! No Special Defense means more damage for all of us!

Unagi: Acid - Crunch (Claw) - Acid

If Claw faints at anytime, you guys should just redirect to Dust.

Engineer Pikachu, you're up!

Alright, Engineer has called for a DQ on rickheg, I feel kinda bad since we probably would have gotten this done had I reffed faster :(

All of Engineer's Pokemon get their standard counters (1/2/1 or 3 MC) and Kame gets a KOC. Unfortunately rickheg gets nothing :( I get 2 RC for reffing the 2 KOes
