I don't remember what the Zap EVs do.

Metagross' main 2 weaknesses are ground and fire, water beats both, so I immediately wanted to do a rain team around metagross. Rain also weakens fire attacks for metagross. Politoed and Kingdra are the two obvious choices for rain, and beat pretty much everything that threatens metagross. Next I added Breloom as a more solid ground check and because sleep is strong in bw, while also serving as a good rotom answer. the mach punch was also helpful for ferrothorn and kyurem b, the former being rains biggest threat. Latios was added as a ground immunity and to destroy all opposing dragons. It also functions as a way to cripple ferrothorn and cresselia by giving them a specs so they cannot support their team as effectively. hp fire helps with scizor and ferrothorn. At this point I saw I would struggle with thundurus, which could just spread paralysis really easily and cripple most of my team. tornadus was also a bit of an issue. I added raichu to be a solid answer to opposing thundurus and to support the team with fake out and speed control. it also lets me get huge momentum with volt switch to bring in my fast threats and exert pressure.

Metagross: Steel gem hits like a nuke. I didnt need any extra coverage because Im running rain, which deals with lando t and heatran.

Politoed: the evs live a dark gem crunch + a normal crunch from 220+ attack tyranitar, while also taking a dragon gem draco + a -2 draco from latios, both through sitrus.

Raichu: spatk lets raichu 2hko keldeo with volt switch with the rest in bulk and max speed.

After a 2 week break, we finally back in action, lads! shaian won the BW Edition round with his Abomasnow team!

This week, we're building around:

Cresselia - It's one of the bulkiest Pokemon in the Doubles OU metagame, capable of not only supporting its team with various forms of Speed control but also functioning as an offensive threat with Calm Mind. It possesses a lot of support moves, such as Trick Room, Thunder Wave, and Icy Wind, that let it fit onto many teams. However, it can end up stopping momentum due to it being somewhat ignorable and walled by Steel-types and various others.

So, since I built this team like, a week ago and it's actually been doing pretty good. Cress is so fat and is the Trick Room setter. Hariyama has Fake Out to help set up and checks Bisharp, Kang, Thundy and Aegislash. Ampharos literally walls Thundy, as with it's EVs HP Ice is a 4HKO if they don't have Life Orb and it also walls Zard-Y. Bisharp and Talon have priority and work pretty well under Trick Room, and Ferrothorn checks all the things like Diancie, Gardevoir, Kyu-B and Rotom-W.

New Rules

Ebelt Cress is a cool starting point. Has cool coverage. Decided to creep timid tran and just dumped the rest in sptak and hp. Kang was added to pressure things like thundurus or sylveon, and to just be a high priority target in general due to its wallbreaking power. Sylveon was added so my Kyurem matchup wasnt total ass. Cm cress is a big threat right now and allows it to check a variety of dark types that threaten cress. Volcanion checks fire types and pressures amoong and aegislash which this team can have trouble with. Zap acted as speed control and as a sleep immune. Gene threatens diancie and adds speed to the team which is pretty fat.

so this isnt a complicated team, mega camerupt enjoys trick room, and has rock slide to bop charizard an talonflame. cresselia is cm with ice beam, to catch landorus off guard and to bop thundurus, also my trick room setter. here is a very weird hoopa set, but quite effective at destruction as weather you face spdef or def bulky pokemon, they're rekt. jellicent is there to keep trick room up, has recovery, and is the team's burner and odd taunt user. sylveon is to back the offensive presence even more, yelling at their team along with camerupt to make one hot scolding. ferrothorn is for f/w/g and trick room, plus steel type.
