dracoyoshi8 vs tortferngatr (what a damn shitty name) [ref: HD]

2v2 Singles
DQ Time: 3 Days
3 Recovers, 6 Chills

Arena: An abandoned pirate ship that crashed into a large outcropping of rocks in a bay. The exterior of the ship is damp and slippery, so Pokemon without claws, suction or sticky slime will have trouble maneuvering. The inside of the ship is filled with water, however scattered throughout the inside are a variety of pirate weaponry and treasure, most notable being daggers, cannonballs and gold doubloons. The masts are still intact, providing a place for Pokemon to climb. Tropical storms are common in the area, and (by ref's choice) may sweep over the battlefield.

Leech Seed him next in case he has a trump card-then Blizzard again! Any ice that forms on the ship is yours to waddle on!"

Okay Bandit, Intimidate the overgrown popsicle with your mightiest roar! Let's try and confuse Snover! Show off your Swagger! Then, using all the grime that got washed up by the sea on deck, use Sand-Attack and follow up with a Mud-Slap! He may have a type advantage, but we got some tricks up our sleeves.

tort it'd be preferable if you bolded your actions to make it easier for me; and once i post this update ill post that there is a 40% chance for a tropical storm (rain dance), while the tropical storm is active, there is a 25% chance for it to end, and every time a tropical storm activates the chance for it to activate again is decreased by 5%.

Bandit the Sandile and Frostbite the Snover stand off against each other on the top of the half-sunken ship, eager to battle. The crooked crocodile lets off an Intimidating roar, showing that he's top dog around here, even with the massive type disadvantage. The Hanukah bush shits his pants so badly that he releases a massive Hail Storm, surprising the denizens of the tropic ship. With the introductions out of the way, Frostbite lets out a massive Blizzard, dealing heavy damage to Bandit as well as covering the top half of the ship with snow. The crooked crocodile sucks the Hanukah bush's e-dick, raising his attack and Swagger two (2) stages but also severely confusing him (getting sucked off by a male possibly hetrosexual crocodile does this to trees).

The hetrosexual Bandit Sand Attacked Frostbite, decreasing his accuracy. Frostbite, after a brief moment of indecision, fires off a Leech Seed, leeching the crocodile of his hetrosexuality health.

Bandit, who is now slightly less hetrosexual healthy, Slaps Mud into Frostbite's eyes, lowering his accuracy (again). Frostbite is about to summon another Blizzard, but hits himself in confusion!

You do realize Snover is of the Plant/Monster egg group versus Sandile's Ground egg group and can't even have a dick Sandile would even remotely recognize as a dick, right? If anything, Sandile tried to suck on his roots, which ought to have gone about as predictably for a Ground-type as could have been expected-poorly. Or its tail-although that would have indeed been confusing.
(...yeah, I'm not a big fan of dick jokes. NO. PUN. INTENDED.)

"Anyways, good. Frosbite, Leech Seed the incoming Ekans, then swap out to Flare. Don't worry, HD is just using a figure of speech-you're still in the Plant/Monster egg group and not the Ground egg group. You're fine."

-Soothe Snover and let him know he's a fully straight member of the Plant and Monster egg groups to relieve his confusion-Leech Seed-Switch to Numel (Flare)-

Numel (Flare) (F)
Nature: Quiet (Special Attack increased by *; A 15% decrease in Base Speed [Rounded Up] and a +5% flat increase in accuracy (e.g. 85 Accuracy becomes 90) on an opponent's attacks.)
Type: Fire/Ground
Fire: Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Solarbeam has Energy Cost reduced by one (1).
Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings. Knock Down, Rock Slide, Sandstorm, and Stealth Rock have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

Abilities:

(e.g. Swords Dance/Screech is still a 2 stage boost/drop but is calculated as 4 stages). Stat benefits/reductions still maximize at 6 effective stages.
Oblivious: (Innate) This Pokemon is incapable of being effected by Attract or Cute Charm.

For further references, the switch rule will be this: action 1 = switch, then action 2 and 3 are free to your own choosing for that Pokemon. As it's confusing right now, me and tort agreed to just make this round have only 1 action. Anyway, subreffing... while trying to keep HD's style (though I know I won't capture all of it).

Noticing the disadvantage that he's at, DY8 swaps out his poor Bandit for the more formidable (or I hope so) Kingsnake (Ekans)! Upon switching, Kingsnake glares down at the sitting tree, but too bad he wasn't ordered to Intimidate while Frostbite shows no fears and accurately spouts, despite the sand AND mud in his eyes, out a fury of Dick Leech Seeds at the newcomer, fully seeding him into tedious uncomfortableness. To add to the rape pain, pellets of snow bounce upon Kingsnake's head, causing some "serious" head injuries!

At the horizon, there appears to be a solid cold front moving in, but it's not going to arrive anytime soon. Maybe in the future though!

edit for below: yes, but you can do that next round lol. this one isn't clear at all.

...didn't I say I was switching to Numel? (don't worry, I'm not exactly a dick joke fan-you don't have to preserve his style.)

Ah well. This time, use Blizzard then use a Mist. He shouldn't be able to then see you switch out to Flare, so no Pursuity goodness for him.

Thankfully, you aren't affected by it if he tries to attract you...and neither should Numel be-she's Oblivious.

If Draco tries to double switch and send in Sandile to deal with Flare, use Blizzard instead.

---------------------------------------------------------

Now that everything's back into position, let the games be restored!

Both of the contestants find themselves at the exterior area of the abandon pirate ship. Kingsnake is having troubles keeping up with the momentum of the abandoned ship's motion as without claws, suction cups, or sticky slime, he's only got the ability to coil around a mast to stay in the game right when the pirate ship starts tilting slightly bottomward! That's not to say Kingsnake can exercise his strength to move upward, however! Right there, he preserves himself and stockpiles his eaten past Rattatas in reserve so that he can brace through whatever is going to happen next. Frostbite is certainly lucky to be a tree, but he is slowly "falling" toward the bottom. He plants his grassy feet through the wooden exterior, keeping him on hold, and summons a deadly blizzard through the hail. Huge amounts of snow can be seen scattered across the pirate ship, and one howling wind combined with ice blades reaches Kingsnake and strikes him on the head, but his tail keeps him tight on the mast. By then, Leech Seed takes effect and steals parts of his life for its lord Frostbite. Pellets of snow bashing his body doesn't help either!

Kingsnake knows his condition isn't really going to get much better, so he just keeps on stockpiling... not Rattatas, but Pidgeys! Frostbite is certainly enjoying the condition of the stage and spouts of a mist of ice and air throughout the arena. Blargh, now I can't even see what the hell's going on! Looks like Kingsnake just got a frostbite when the energies start pulling away from his life to Frostbite!

The mist stays in tact and it's getting frustrating for not only me, but for Kingsnake to see much! But, it looks like someone just called out their Pokemon and released a new Pokemon - the silhouette of a Numel, who we shall call Flare! Kingsnake stares at the silhouette despite the insane distractions from mist and hail and launches a aimbotted Spit Up of Rattata and Pidgey guts at the fresh Flare, who gets knocked on her back and starts sliding downward until she falls onto Kingsnake's mast! Kingsnake himself has climbed a little to escape being smashed by Numel's body, but is he really safe? We shall see! As the round was about to conclude, energies from Kingsnake drain from his body to the nearby Flare. Additionally, a wave of snow splashes upon both Pokemon, causing some freezing ice particles to form on them!

I don't think Dracoyoshi8 has any time to spare (or it could be that the lag was too unbearable to look this thread up?), so yeah, going to end this in DQ.

I have no idea how it will work out for you guys. But, let's just say you both get 1 EC, 1 MC, and 1 DC for each Pokemon that was present for the match (yeah, even DY). I guess both of you get 2 Trainer Counters too. Since no Pokemon fainted, I'll get 1 ref counter.

I wish this could continue though. I liked where it was going.

OBSERVATION: Matches that include "switch=ok" are more likely to have refs that will quit.

Oh yeah, and this means tortferngatr gets a win.
