Drapion (Analysis)

    1. Remove the Swords Dance set; Drapion is going to have a very difficult time sweeping in this metagame. Ground-types such as Landlos and Excadrill are everywhere, and since they're faster than you, they'll have no problem KOing you with a swift EQ to the face. Even defensive 'mons like Ferrothorn defeat you, since you'll fail to do any significant damage with EQ, while it can stall you with Leech Seed + Protect. Skarmory walls you entirely as well. In a nutshell, SD Drapion is inefficient in OU; get rid of it imo.
    2. Remove the Jolly nature slash on the Toxic Spiker; there's no need for a +Spe nature if you're not investing in any Speed at all.
    3. Add Taunt in the final move slot and make it the first slash. Taunt's great for preventing Ferrothorn, Forretress, and Skarmory from setting up their own hazards. With Taunt, Reuniclus can't beat you either.
    That's all I have for you. Drapion's pretty cool since it can set-up Toxic Spikes while walling Reuniclus quite well. Once these changes are made, I'll give you an approval.

    I don't have much else to add, but make sure you remove the ability section. In my opinion, both abilities (battle armor + sniper) are on par with other (both are lucked base) so I don't think you should single out sniper.

    Drapon should totally have got Intimidate from the Dream World. It's a darn shame.

    And yes, GtM, Drapion should have gotten a better ability in the Dream World. No one really uses accuracy-lowering attacks anyways, which makes Keen Eye even more worthless.

    OP looks good. I'd only like to see Knock Off being mentioned in AC since this is a pretty handy move for a set like this one. While you do this, you could also talk a bit about how Wish support helps Drapion since it lacks recovery. That's all.

    Wouldn't Scope Lens violate the item clause since it boosts Critical hit ratio? Or am I mistaken?

    No, items that increase crit ratio or hit ratio don't violate any sort of item clause.

    I'm sorry but this is nowhere near ready for GP checks. All of your analysis sections need beefing up, especially Additional Comments and Other Options. Look at some completed analyses in this subforum for examples of what is expected in an analysis. If you don't feel up to it then this analysis can always be reassigned, with full credit for the skeleton going to you.

    It's been nearly a week and the writer still hasn't responded, and the quality of this analysis is unfortunately just not up to standard, so I'm locking and moving this. Scorpio will receive credit for the skeleton, and I encourage anyone who wants to take over the Drapion analysis to PM Rising_Dusk and Bloo.
