    Name: Trick Room
    Move 1: Trick Room
    Move 2: Pain Split
    Move 3: Will-O-Wisp
Move 4: Night Shade / Seismic Toss
    Item: Eviolite
    Ability: Pressure
    Nature: Sassy
    Evs: 136 HP / 120 Def / 252 SpD

Why this set deserves to be on-site

    • Is similar to its defensive set but replaces its fourth move (Ice Beam / Taunt) with Trick Room
    • Can support its teammates with Trick Room multiple times per battle
    • When Dusclops is low on health after defeating an opponent’s Pokemon when Trick Room is up, Dusclops can Pain Split its health back from the Pokemon that is sent in, before that Pokemon KO's Dusclops.
    • With Trick Room up Dusclops can outrun a Pokemon that uses Substitute and hit it with Will-O-Wisp before Substitute blocks the attack

    Additional Comments

    • Maxing out HP evs on a Pokemon that uses Pain Split is wasteful
    • Some HP evs allows Dusclops to survive powerful super effective attacks at full or near full health
    • Some HP evs also allows Dusclops to restore more HP when Pain Split is used on a Pokemon like Blissey or Wobbuffet
    • More Special defense evs than defense evs are recommended because Will-O-Wisp helps Dusclops take physical hits

    Teammates and Counters

    • Pokemon that can abuse Trick Room make good Teammates
    • Pokemon with Taunt can usually force Dusclops to switch out
    • Pokemon with Toxic and a recovery move causes problems for Dusclops

Generally, Trick Room sets don't get their own analyses unless the set is especially good/specialized at setting up Trick Room. Creating Trick Room sets pretty much consists of a random bulky mon with Trick Room. This is sort of like creating a smashpass recipient analysis -- the only mon that got such an analysis was Jirachi, and that was because 1) Jirachi is the best smashpass recipient in the game and 2) that set worked alright without Smashpass.

Also, Trick Room is kind of at gimmick status in the meta right now.

Yeah agreeing with Woodchuck. You're really not changing the set except throwing TR on there. This might be okay if it was a mainstream strategy, but TR supporters never get their own sets, they just get AC mentions. The only mons which get TR listed are stuff like Bronzong, Reuniclus, Victini which set it up AND abuse it.

I'm not going to repeat what has already been said, but the best way to use Trick Room in OU is with stand-alone sweepers just because they totally wreck most offensive teams. Also, if I wanted to make a full Trick Room team with this I would just use Trick Room then Memento and not bother with all those support moves.
