Ok, this is gonna be fun. Gible, I choose you! I hope your Sand Veil ability will come in useful here. Lets go!

Ok, lets do This! Come on out Nohface, Levitate will surely help against this Gible.

Start off with a Loud Yawn, then Meteor Mash him, the Shadow Sneak to get close to the pit.

Okay Gible, first I want you to use Sand Attack to blind him and make his yawn miss, then Dig under the ground and try to get to the pit in the corner, then Take him Down underneath the sand if possible.

Summary --> Sand Attack, Dig to the pit, Take Down

The sandstorm rages.

Arena Effects:

  • All moves that target a Pokemon have 10% reduced accuracy for all Pokemon. Doesn't affect Pokemon with Keen Eye, attacks used after Odor Sleuth or Foresight, or attacks that never miss.
  • All Pokemon have 10% reduced Speed in this arena. Doesn't affect Flying-type Pokemon, Ground-type Pokemon, or those with Levitate.
Action 1:

Neither Pokemon in this battle is particularly fast, but Gible manages the Speed to start this battle off. He kicks up a particularly nasty cloud of sand from the slowly rising pile around them. Gible used Sand Attack! It hit! Eyes's accuracy was reduced by 1 stage!

Nohface, now having an even harder time seeing to hit with his attacks thanks to the sand in his eyes, makes an attempt to render Gible drowsy by yawning in his general direction. Eyes used Yawn! It missed!

Action 2:

Thankful that his opponent's Yawn missed, Gible makes an attempt to burrow underground and rush toward the pit in the corner of the sand. The pit, as it were, is a slightly lowered platform separate from the rest of the arena by a deep chasm that the infinite sand seems to flow down into. Because of the structure of the room, however, the only physically plausible way for one to access the pit in the corner is by jumping to it, so Gible stops short of the pit to avoid falling into the ever flowing sand below. Gible used Dig!

Eyes, unfortunately, is too slow to attack before Gible can burrow away from him. He lashes out with a Meteor Mash, but the Gible is gone before it can connect and the attack sends sand flying instead. Eyes used Meteor Mash! Gible dodged the attack!

Action 3:

Eyes, frustrated with his inability to actually hit Gible, takes priority and Shadow Sneaks to the pit in the corner. Because Eyes is a ghost and Shadow Sneak literally functions as teleportation, Eyes appears across the chasm to dodge the effects of the sand. Eyes used Shadow Sneak!

As he pops out of the ground, Gible, seeing Eyes appear suddenly across the chasm, decides to chance it and attempt an attack across the chasm. He leaps across the chasm toward Eyes! (25% chance of failure) He succeeds in crossing the gap! Unfortunately, Eyes is a Ghost-type Pokemon, so the Take Down passes right through him! Gible crashes into the wall behind Eyes and suffers 4 HP of recoil damage for the attack! After crashing into the wall, Gible lands on the pit in the corner. Gible used Take Down! It doesn't affect enemy Eyes... Gible kept going and crashed!

Right, didn't realise that Take Down wouldn't work, so Gible I want you to use Iron Head to flinch that Nohface, and then follow up with a Sand Tomb to keep him trapped on the platform. Then finish up with an Outrage, to deal some serious damage. Come on Gible, I believe in you! If he uses Yawn again, Dig under the ground to avoid the attack.

Summary: Iron Head, Sand Tomb, Outrage

Dig to avoid a Yawn attack.

Ok, Gible as of now is a bitch to hit, so First use Odor Sleuth to nagate his evasion advantage, then Iron Defence to beef up your defence, then Meteor Mash into the pit!

  • All Pokemon have 10% reduced Speed in this arena. Doesn't affect Flying-type Pokemon, Ground-type Pokemon, or those with Levitate.
Action 1:

Gible, recovering from his hitting the wall, reels around at the orders of his trainer and leaps once more toward Eyes. Eyes, being the slow critter that it is, cannot dodge it even with the intense sandstorm's help. Eyes takes the hit like a trooper and doesn't flinch from the attack. Gible used Iron Head! It's not very effective... Eyes takes 6 damage!

Eyes, having been struck the first blow, decides to sniff out Gible properly to guarantee that his attacks will strike true. Eyes used Odor Sleuth!

Action 2:

Gible, sensing the imminent danger if Eyes attacks now always hit, begins channeling some of the sand nearby into a literal whirlwind around Eyes! The attack successfully traps Eyes, but because the platform upon which they're standing isn't covered in much sand, it requires extra concentration from Gible. (2 extra energy cost per round maintained) Gible used Sand Tomb! It's super effective! Eyes became trapped! Eyes takes 13 damage!

Eyes, reeling from the super effective attack, decides that he doesn't want to take these hits quite as hard for a few turns. From inside the sandy whirlwind, he focuses on his hardened exterior and boosts his Defense two stages! Eyes used Iron Defense! Eyes's Defenses was sharply raised!

Eyes takes 2 damage due to Sand Tomb!

Action 3:

Gible, enraged by the powerful attack he'd just taken, immediately breaks concentration on Sand Tomb to execute one of its strongest attacks right into the core of the floating kitten! Gible used Outrage! Gible went on a rampage! It's not very effective... Eyes takes 8 damage!

Eyes, realizing how frail the platform is upon which they currently fight, decides to direct a Meteor Mash through Gible into the platform. He returns fire with a metallic meteor strike right at the Gible that cannot miss! Eyes used Meteor Mash! Gible takes 15 damage!

Arena Effect: The Meteor Mash struck Gible first, reducing damage to the platform, although visible cracks have appeared in the platform regardless. It is stable for the moment.

  • All Pokemon have 10% reduced Speed in this arena. Doesn't affect Flying-type Pokemon, Ground-type Pokemon, or those with Levitate.
Action 1:

Gible, locked into a furious outrage, continues rampaging against Eyes's body with full power. Gible used Outrage! Gible went on a rampage! It's not very effective... Eyes takes 8 damage!

Eyes, unkeen on letting Gible get away with his onslaught, returns fire with a potent Meteor Mash right onto Gible! The attack shocks him and weakens the platform further, but it still remains. Eyes's Odor Sleuth continues on, allowing him to easily strike the Gible true through his Sand Veil. Eyes used Meteor Mash! Gible takes 15 damage!

Action 2:

Gible continues its rampage, with it finally puttering out at the end of this round. As he calms down, the rampage makes him slightly confused. Gible used Outrage! Gible went on a rampage! It's not very effective... Eyes takes 8 damage! Gible calmed down. Gible became confused!

Eyes, now trying to seek a different approach to quickly ending this battle, decides to fling yet another Meteor Mash directly into the platform itself. The platform, now struck critically under the stress of multiple glancing blows and this final strike, buckles under the stress of the attack. Eyes used Meteor Mash!

The stress of the attack causes the platform to crumble, and because Gible was confused, he didn't notice what was happening until it was too late! Gible falls far below into the pit of rising sand and becomes critically injured from the fall! The fall also makes him intensely confused! Gible is paralyzed (25%)! Gible takes 25 damage!

Action 3:

Eyes, comfortably floating above the chaos of falling rubble, teleports away to a more central location of the arena with ease. Eyes used Shadow Sneak!

Gible, now brutally wounded from his fall, intensely dazed, and paralyzed makes a desperate attempt to escape the pit he's now struggling in by digging. Fortunately, he's a Ground-type Pokemon, so the mass of sand isn't smothering him terribly, but he's still pretty beat up! Unfortunately, the combination of confusion and paralysis proves too much, and Gible remains stuck deep in the pit. Gible is confused! Gible is fully paralyzed!

Damn Gible, we're not in good shape right now...
We need to get out. I need you to keep on trying to Dig your way out whilst trying to avoid Eyes' attacks. If you get out on the first turn, use Sand Attack and then follow up with a Sand Tomb. In short:

Dig until out of the pit, then Sand Attack if you get out and if we still have one more turn, use Sand Tomb.

That was amazing Eyes, lets keep up the good work!

Now that he's hit with a double whammy, we can be slightly less cautious. Float down to Gible and Yawn right in his face, then fire off a Meteor Mash point blank if he hasn't gotten free. If he has, Shadow Sneak to a safer spot. Then use Iron Defence to buff up your Defence again!

Action 1:

Note: Eyes wins the Speed tie.

Eyes floats slightly down toward the ravaged Gible and lets loose a long yawn in its general direction at a distance that prevents retaliation but doesn't cut accuracy. The attack hit dead on through both Sand Veil and the intense sandstorm accuracy drop! Eyes used Yawn! Gible became drowsy!

Gible, now drowsy from Eyes's attack, attempts with all of his might to escape the swarming slosh of sand he's stuck in and get up to the surface so that he can strike at Eyes. Gible is confused! Gible hurt itself in confusion! Gible takes 7 damage!

Action 2:

Note: Gible wins the Speed tie.

Gible, desperate now to escape the pit, tries very hard to focus on Digging out of the pit and putting itself back in a position of relative power. Unfortunately, though he could focus hard enough and overcome the confusion, his limbs stiffened up because of the paralysis. Gible snapped out of confusion! Gible is fully paralyzed!

Eyes, noting that Gible is still trapped helplessly in the deep pit due to its injuries, takes advantage of the weakness and charged in to smash Gible with a Meteor Mash! Somehow miraculously (by being consistently really lucky), the attack connects through 85% accuracy, 20% Sand Veil evasion, and 10% miss chance. Eyes used Meteor Mash! Gible takes 15 damage!

Action 3:

Note: Gible wins the Speed tie.

Gible, furious now at being helpless for so long, focuses as hard as he possibly can to Dig out of this terrible pit. Fortunately, luck was finally on his side and he successfully escapes the pit through the sand and arrives back on the main arena level. Finally at a position of height, maybe Gible can make a come back from this terrible deficit. Gible used Dig!

Eyes, not caring that Gible is escaping away from him, stays completely motionless and focuses the iron in his body to become thicker and more durable. Eyes used Iron Defense! Eyes's Defense was sharply raised!

Gible, annoyed at the laxness of his opponent, decides to try to get the ball rolling again by throwing some sand in Eyes's errr... eyes! The attack succeeds, and hits Eyes true! After the attack connects, Gible topples over, falling into a light sleep. Gible used Sand Attack! Eyes's accuracy was lowered! Gible fell asleep!

Eyes, noticing that now his opponent has finally fallen asleep, keeps chilling out to restore its energy. Eyes chilled out! Eyes gained 12% energy!

Gible snores loudly in the sand, rolls over, and scratches his belly. Gible is fast asleep!

Action 3:

Eyes is now well-rested and ready for some more action! Deciding to take the fight to his enemy, he teleports over and attempts to strike it through a sandy veil. The attack misses due to Eye's reduced accuracy! Eyes used Shadow Sneak! Eyes's attack missed!

Gible, struck by the attack and only lightly asleep in the first place, rolls over and his eyes pop open. Feeling very weak from the attack, Gible backs off from the attacking ghost and attempts to chill to regain some energy. Gible chilled out! Gible gained 12% energy!

Ok Gible lets give this guy a hard time now. First use Sand Tomb to deal some serious damage. Then follow up with an Iron Head and try to make him flinch as best possible. Finally, use Sand Tomb again and if he tries to remove the accuracy drop that you gave him earlier, make sure to hit him with a Sand Attack so he still misses us. You can do it Gible!!!

Ok Eyes, now we need to play smart here to get this over with. First, Shadow Sneak behind him to dodge the Sand Tomb, then Faint Attack to get some damage in, then pary to the gods that Meteor Mash hits and unleash it!

Action 1:

Gible, determined to strike Eyes before fainting, conjures up a whirlwind of sand in front of him to do some serious damage. As he flings the whirlwind in Eyes's direction, Eyes—having anticipated the attack—swiftly teleports directly behind Gible to dodge the attack! Gible used Sand Tomb! Eyes used Shadow Sneak! Gible's attack missed!

Action 2:

Note: Eyes wins the Speed tie.

Eyes, capitalizing on his new position as the paralyzed Gible struggles to turn around leads off with a very strong, unavoidable attack. Fading into the shadows, he lurches forth at close range to strike! Eyes used Faint Attack! Gible takes 9 damage!

Gible, taking the hit and buckling from the strike, turns toward the now reforming Eyes and charges! The attack connects while Gible's head gleams silver like metal! Gible used Iron Head! Eyes takes 5 damage!

Action 3:

Note: Eyes wins the Speed tie.

Eyes, narrowly winning the Speed tie, rallies and soars straight into the Gible at close range, glittering as though stars are breaking off of his being. The attack, however, just narrowly misses Gible because of the sandy blurred form it has, and Eyes kicks up an enormous cloud of sand around both Pokemon, lowering both of their accuracies further by 1 stage! Eyes used Meteor Mash! Eyes's attack missed! Eyes's accuracy fell! Gible's accuracy fell!

Arena Effect Update: Localized huge burst of sand lingering in the air reducing accuracy of all targeted moves by 50%.

Gible, recoiling from the burst of sand in his eyes, but otherwise undamaged by the attack, begins conjuring one more sandy whirlwind to trow at the Nohface. Because of the huge cloud of sand lingering in the air, though, the accuracy of the move is cut in half on top of the numerous accuracy drops already in place! Gible fires off the whirlwind, but instead of connecting, it flies through the cloud and fails to connect with anything. The attack ends up stirring up even more sand in the air, though, resulting in the cloud lingering for longer! Gible used Sand Tomb! Gible's attack missed!

Action 1:

Note: Gible wins the Speed tie.

Gible starts off the round by trying to do as much damage as Pokemonly possible before going down; you know, blaze of glory and all that. Gible conjures up a sandy whirlwind and throws it toward Eyes, but the cloud of sand gets in the way and Gible's attack misses its mark! Gible used Sand Tomb! Gible's attack missed!

Eyes, not having any of this nonsense about accuracy, fades into blackness and seeks out Gible's heat from amongst the sand. Finding just what he was looking for, Eyes attacks and strikes true! Eyes used Faint Attack! Gible takes 9 damage!

Action 2:

Note: Eyes wins the Speed tie.

Eyes doesn't want to tire itself out by repeatedly bashing in Gible's skull, though, so takes this moment of respite to sniff out its foe and guarantee that it knows where it is. Eyes used Odor Sleuth!

Gible, weakened but not beaten yet, leads off this round by kicking up sand into the face of his opponent! The attack hits through the reduced accuracy! Gible used Sand Attack! Eyes's accuracy fell!

Action 3:

Note: Eyes wins the Speed tie.

Now that he's all set up, Eyes fades into blackness once more and seeks out his opponent's now-dim heat source. Erupting from the blackness, Eyes slashes across Gibles chest, and the baby Dragon goes flying into the sand. Gible, in a last ditch effort, attempts to lift its head and press on, but cannot muster the effort. Eyes used Faint Attack! Gible takes 1 damage! Gible was KOed!

Now that the round has finished and Gible lies motionless in the sand, the dust cloud settles around Eyes's form while his eyes glitter of victory. He's ready for whatever comes next. Eyes gains 1 KO counter!

Right Gastly, it's your turn! First use Night Shade to do some good damage, then follow up with a will-o-wisp to give him a nasty burn, then use Sucker Punch to do some more damage. If at any point he tries to use shadow sneak, then make sure that you disable the move. Come on Gastly, I know you can do it!

Great job Eyes!

Now I know your tired, so just Chill to get some energy back, then Psycho Shift that burn back at Gastly, then Chill again to get more energy back

Chill-Psycho Shift-Chill
