    The ASB Tournament Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

    Go, Float!

Alright, Float, start off by Imprisoning Lucario-if he Detects instead, Hone your Claws! Next, Volt Switch to somewhere distant and Earthquake!

Ok Lucario, lets do this! First of all, use Nasty plot as he Imprisons you. Then, fire off an Aura Sphere, this should hit him from any distance! Finally, finish off by using Detect to block that Earthquake!

The battle begins with an Imprison from Float - that would certainly restrict Destruction! Destruction stays calm with a devious Nasty Plot. Float next makes an attempt to dodge with Volt Change, but sadly, a never-missing Aura Sphere still conects compeltely! Float attempts to set off an Earthquake, and Destruction's Detect fails! It takes all the damage!

Ok, lets get this thing going. First off, I want you to use Swords Dance to boost up your attack, and then Hi Jump Kick when he uses Earthquake, so that he can't hit us since we'll be jumping. Finally, use Drain Punch to get back some of the health that we'll no doubt lose.

The round begins with an Earthquake from Float - he certainly is racking on the damage here! Destruction responds with another boost, a Swords Dance. The next turn, Destruction goes for a Hi Jump Kick, its aim deadly accurate. CLoser, closer, closer..... but Float Detects the attack and escapes! Destruction merely crashes into a stadium wall, and reels back onto the field. Finally, to restore some HP, it uses Drain Punch, but the attack is promptly Countered!
