Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Very well. If either Flora or Deck Knight says that rounding must be done in a certain way (or someone else point out a written rule I didn't see), I will update this reffing post and the previous one, ok?
Until then, here comes the round with my current policy:
HP: 75
Atk: 4
Def: 2
SpA: 2
SpD: 2
Spe: 30 Energy: 86
Boosts:
Other: 10% Paralysed and will wake up next action
Round 7
Action 1
A one trick pony is a one trick pony, I guess. Togepii goes again with Extrasensory to damage his opponent and wake him up. Gilgamesh, to prevent unconvenient flinches, forms a substitute with the sowing material he keeps on his...something.
Togepii: Extrasensory: 8 + 1.5 = 9.5*1.5 = 14.25 (15) damage for 6 energy
Flinch: 5/10 (no)
Crit: 15/16 (no)
Machop: Substitute for 12 energy
Paralysis: 80/100 (attacks normally)
Action 2
From where did he get that material! It must be a magic show, because Togepii is demanding an Encore! Gilgamesh's ego is very prone to bloating so it couldn't resist doing it again, even though he doesn't have the fabric to make another substitute (failed).
Togepii: Encore for 10 energy
Machop: Substitute for 12 energy - failed
Paralysis: 58/100 (attacks normally)
Action 3
Finally, Togepii strikes with, guess what guess what, Extrasensory! yayuck! The Sub explodes in tiny little pieces, absorbing the flinch possibility in the process. Meanwhile Gilgamesh tries to use substitute again, but he got Fully Paralysed!.
Fortunately for the Machop, that episode, together with the time that passed ever since the Thunder Wave, made the paralysis disappear. Gilgamesh is healed!.
Togepi: Extrasensory: 8 + 1.5 = 9.5*1.5 = 14.25 (15) damage for 6 energy
Sub = gone
Flinch = blocked by sub
Crit: 9/16 (no)
Time for the final sprint! Both pokemon use their last set up moves (no encore yay) to then pull out the big guns. Togepii focuses on the offensive side of thing by cooking some nasty plots, while Gilgamesh prefers the defensive route with Light Screen. Am I the only one who finds this ironic?
Machop: Light Screen for 8 energy
Togepi: Nasty Plot for 7 energy
Action 2
HO HO HO
THIS IS IT
ON ONE SIDE WE HAVE TOGEPII WITH ANNOYING EXTRASENSORY FLINCHHAX AND ON THE OTHER SIDE WE HAVE THE POWERFUL GILGAMESH LOOKING FOR A REVENGE. WHO SHALL WIN?!
Efreet: "Magbyyyy!" (translation: please no hax! It scaries mee!)
Disembodied voice: Your first wish shall be granted
*No flinch, no crits, Light Screen absorbs a lot of the damage and Togepii is in a bad situation*
"...wish? What the hell?"
Togepi: Extrasensory: 8 + 1.5 - 5 = 4.5*1.5 = 6.75+3.5 = 10.25 (11) damage for 6 energy
Flinch: 30/100 (no flinch)
Crit: 14/16 (nope)
Machop: Revenge: 12 + 3 + 1.5 = 16.5*1.5 = 24.75 (25) damage for 7 energy
Crit: 4/16 (no)
Action 3
Efreet: MAGBY MAGBYYY!! (Translation: NO HAX! NO HAAAAX!)
Disembodied voice: "Your second wish shall be granted"
*Extrasensory doesn't flinch. Revenge deals great damage. Togepii has little energy and hp. Things are looking good for the Machop*
"...second wish? Does this temple have a genie? it isn't mentioned in the memo they gave me. I will be sure to complain to the reffing comittee!"
Togepi: Extrasensory: 8 + 1.5 - 5 = 4.5*1.5 = 6.75+3.5 = 10.25 (11) damage for 10 energy
Flinch: 28/100 (no flinch)
Crit: 9/16 (nope)
Machop: Revenge: 12 + 3 + 1.5 = 16.5*1.5 = 24.75 (25) damage for 11 energy
Crit: 11/16 (no)
Gilgamesh, go for a Karate chop x3 to finish him off! If he uses protect on a1, make a 15 HP Substitute on a1, and use encore on action 2, finishing off with a Karate chop on action 3.
Frosty: 4 ref tokens (unfortunately, the token distribution for subref matches is based on the KOs reffed by the main ref and the substitute. Since Dogfish didn't ref any KO, he doesn't get Ref Tokens).
PS: Can anyone please change the title category to "Completed"? Thanks.
