Koiga the Venonat begins this round by trying to confuse Grit the Remoraid with Supersonic. Emphasis on the word "try" as it ends up missing the target completely! Having a nice opportunity to get revenge at that lovely paralysis, Grit attacks with Water Gun, getting half-decent-yet-enough damage in the process.HITTING thanks to the Compoundeyes this stupid ref forgot to account for, which resulted in intense confusion. Then Remoraid Hit itself in confusion. Also Venonat suffers from burn.
On the second turn, Koiga prefers a more offensive approach and uses the poison I forgot to mention last round to fuel a powerful Venoshock, right before Grit (after overcoming confusion) counterattacked with Psybeam, getting a lovely intense confusion (4 actions) for the Venonat. Also Venonat suffers from burn.
But Koiga is a focused fella and uses his ninja arts to overcome confusion AND nail a critical hit with Venoshock, right before being defeated by water gun. Koiga the Venonat fainted!. Also Venonat suffers from burn--or not anymore.
