It seemed to happen after a while, is Dreamhost being wonky? I have experienced the Website is offline, and the retry for the live version, but I have just seen this.

Ahem:
There are some issues with the host right now causing some problems with connecting / logging in for many users. For now there's nothing you can do, just be patient and the devs will sort it out as soon as they are able if the hosting company doesn't first.
Please be patient as they sort it out.

Yup, I knew something was amiss with PS's host/client/whatever when I couldn't see the Pokémon Showdown logo on the top of the screen. All we can do is twittle are thumbs and hope that PS hasn't explodonated or something like that.

Professor Shroomish, it's probably a clientside problem if you've been having it for three months - I haven't heard many other complaints about the Mac download in the past.

That said, I don't know much about technology so take this with a grain of salt take the whole damn saltshaker.

Basically, our host lied about how they were going to handle a server move. We're currently waiting on tech support to get back to us.

Things to do while PS is down

Yup, lez just make a completely worthless thread that will most likely be destroyed by a mod to whittle away the days that PS is down. Just post whatever random crap that comes to your mind below, I don''t honestly know what else to do.
