Rules:
3v3 Singles (Challenger brings 3, Leader brings 4)
2 day DQ
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills

1 Mega Evolution
Items: ON
Switch: OK
Abilities: ALL
Arena: Fairy Gym Arena
The ASB TournamentFairy-type Gym Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fansFairy-type Pokemon, the ASBFairy-type Gym Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are ALMOST no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle. However, the Fairy spectators are impatient and want to see a match. If a trainer hesitates excessively during the battle (read: goes over DQ), they will swarm and attack.

Summary:
- Standard rules
- If you go over DQ (however slightly), the fairies will brutally murder you [Note: if you post in LOA, or give a not-shitty reason AHEAD OF TIME, I won't DQ you]

Pay special attention to Mr. Mime here. Use movepool yadda yadda yadda. Key point here is Psychic typing. Metagross can be dealt with by Mawile and Togekiss on a pinch can hurt it somewhat. Muk + Plasmanta, however, can deal just fine with Togekiss, Wigglytuff and Mawile (ya hallo thar acid) and go toe-to-toe with Mr. Mime. If Mime is defeated by one, then the other will be a tough nut to crack for sure, so the Leader will rely a lot on his usage of Mr. Mime to win this.

Mon to watch here is Plasmanta. Yes I did see Metagross and yes I do think it is a broken piece of shit. But Mega Mawile can deal with it somewhat with Togekiss (and even Wigglytuff) delivering finishing blows if necessary. But for Plasmanta...the only mon that can hurt it is Mr. Mime. Just Ctrl+F "Bulldoze", "Earth Power", "Dig" and "Earthquake" to be sure. And its massive weight means that only Mr. Mime can psychic against it (but for a damn good 27hp of damage), so if Mr. Mime is weakened, the oddly fat and fast manta can do some work here.

Round 1!

And we are on!

Mawile faces Metagross And I think I called that ball? Metagross fishes for flinch, it didn't come, both ended in pretty much the same situation. Not much to say here.

Big odds that this stalemate stays unless the challenger switches. There isn't much the Leader can do to have a big reversal here. Best case scenario ends with a weak mawile and a dead Metagross and that mawile will then be defeated by whoever is bachelor #2. Or the challenger can make good orders and the opposite happens. and the end results will still be unconclusive

Long story short: too early to say anything.

Round 2!

So the Leader does the unusual and sets up with Mawile. I suppose it makes sense. Due to Substitute, Muk's barrage of Acid didn't deal that much damage, while Mawile managed to eat up a good chunk of Muk's health and set up Stealth Rocks. Sure, in the end Mawile was corroded and its special defense was weakened, but I have this feeling that it won't matter next round.

Round 3!

I got a few confessions to make.

1) I don't like reffing matches that end up with hax playing a factor. I guess all the rage at Pike made me prone to being pissed at people being pissed at my RNG. So reffing matches at this particular gym is kinda...eh. Even though I do that a lot.

2) Ever since a certain battle in a certain ghost gym, I always avoided reffing deadfox081's gym matches. Spread the joy to different people, that is my motto.

Needless to say, this round was unusually satisfying to ref. I know I am supposed to be impartial and all that shit, but I can't help it ._. .

Also, Leader is kiiinda in a bad situation. Not too bad though if you consider that Mr. Mime can still deal a crapload of damage here and even the scales. But bad regardless.

Round 4!

And it seems that the leader will trade in a Togekiss for a Muk. But considering that the Muk was already hurt to begin with, it is a somewhat good trade for the challenger as well.

And now the fate of the universe...I mean, the leader befalls in the hands of Mr. Mime. Although if you check it, aren't all matches like this? <_<

Round 5!

And a trade off it is! I suppose it couldn't be avoided.

Now comes rock-paper-scissor. Mr. Mime beats Plasmanta but won't like metagross and Mawile beats...well nothing in its current state, but it can be a nuisance to metagross, while plasmanta has 101 ways to deal with it. That circunstance makes matchup a big thing and gives deadfox081 a lovely advantage. The bad part is that this is emma and his mons (mainly Mime) really excel when ordering last, so yeah. Next round will be key to defining momentum here.
