Mold Breaker (DW): (Innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)
Unnerve (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon's presense causes immense tension in the opponent, preventing them from eating a held Berry. Natural Gift may still be used.

Abilities:
Poison Point: (Can Be Disabled) This Pokemon’s spikes/quills/thorns are coated in poison, and there is a 30% chance of poisoning any foe that uses a contact attack on this Pokemon. When disabled, all of this Pokemon's attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison (with the same chance of effect).
Rivalry: (Innate) This Pokemon has a primal response to competition and mating, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the same gender in the same Egg Group, and decreasing the power of all its attacks by two (2) when it faces an opponent of the opposite gender in the same Egg Group (Monster/Ground are used for Nidorina/Nidoqueen).

Lightningrod: (Innate) These Pokemon naturally attract electricity to themselves and away from partners in double battles. When struck with an Electric attack, they transfer the energy into their body, using it to increase their Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts. If a Pokemon has a type immunity to Electric attacks, Lightning Rod will not activate.
Rock Head: (Innate) This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Reckless (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has an innately aggressive nature that lets it use all-out attacks with recoil more effectively. Recoil attacks from this Pokemon have two (2) more Base Attack Power, and recoil percentage is unaffected.

Strike actually set this to Switch=OK when accepting the battle, just fyi.

"About time I had a sprite to represent the crotchety old man I truly am at heart. Get to use it for the first time against a very formidable battler too but at least he's using tried and untested Pokemon. Of course I mostly am too but I might as well get my one experienced (ever so slightly) campaigner out there. Gaze let's start with you! I promise she is more fearsome than she looks. Join your new team mate out there Processor. I bet you look forward to using the soup to expand your movepool a little!"

Brandon smiled, looking at the Unown Soup arena. With the Unown giving Pokemon the ability to use moves they otherwise wouldn't be able to, the possibilities were endless. His opponent was no slouch either; he had battled deadfox when they were both relatively new to ASB, and while he had won, deadfox had given him a run for his money. Looking at his Pokemon, he quickly decided on the two best for the job. "Alright, let's go Sludgestrike and Shurikenstrike!" The male Nidoran and the Staryu entered the field, ready for their first fight, though looking a bit nervous. "Alright, Sludgestrike, start with a Thunderbolt on Surskit! Follow up by using a Helping Hand on Staryu, then finish off with another Thunderbolt! Staryu, grab that Unown D and use an Unown Dark Void to give us an early advantage, then follow up with a massive Thunder on Surskit! Finish off with a second Thunder! If Surskit uses Agility to dodge your moves, Sludgestrike redirect to Beldum if necessary, and Shurikenstrike use Scald on Beldum instead!"

Summary:
Sludgstrike: Thunderbolt (Surskit) -> Helping Hand -> Thunderbolt (Surskit)
If Surskit uses evasive Agility use Thunderbolt (Beldum) and push actions down
Shurikenstrike: Unown Dark Void -> Thunder (Surskit) -> Thunder (Surskit)
If Surskit uses evasive Agility use Scald (Beldum) and push actions down

"Well well, it seems we have found ourselves a very clever opponent indeed. These actions won't be as easy to exploit as our other battle but then again there is that tried and tested old Unown Soup trick to stop Dark Void. You're still going to have to take some hits Gaze, but its nothing you aren't used to!"

Processor: Zen Headbutt (Sludgstrike) > Unown F: Fake Out (Shurikenstrike) > Zen Headbutt (Sludgstrike)

Gaze: Unown D: Detect > Mud Shot (Sludgstrike) > Psybeam (Sludgstrike)

Gaze starts the round by jumping into the soup and grabbing the D, allowing it to use the move Detect. Shurikenstrike tried to then use the D to use Dark Void, but failed due to Gaze already using it. Sludgestrike then fired off a Thunderbolt at Gaze, who was able to detect the oncoming attack and dodge. Processor, currently overclocked, calms down and uses a Zen Headbutt on Sludgestrike.

Sludgestrike tries to give its ally some confidence back with a Helping Hand, but Processor jumps into the Soup, without frying somehow, and Fakes Out Shurikenstrike, causing it to flinch. Gaze decides to go on the offensive now, and shoots a ball of mud at Sludgestrike.

Shurikenstrike decides to retry its attack, and fires off a powerful Thunder at Gaze. Gaze decides it's fun hitting Sludgestrike, and uses a Psybeam on it. Sludgestrike wants to see the little pond skater fry, and uses a Thunderbolt on it. Processor, struggling to figure out what's going on, uses another Zen Headbutt on Sludgestrike.

Brandon scowled slightly. His opponent was no stranger to the powers of the Unown, but Brandon had a few tricks up his sleeve as well. "Alright, Sludgestrike, beat Beldum to that Unown S and nail Surskit with an Unown Sky Attack! Then use a Helping Hand on Shurikenstrike, and finish off by nailing Surskit with a Thunderbolt! Shurikenstrike, use a Unown Leech Seed on Beldum, follow up with a Scald on Beldum, and finish off with a massive Thunder on Surskit!"

Summary:
Sludgestrike: Unown Sky Attack (Surskit) -> Helping Hand (Staryu) -> Thunderbolt (Surskit)
Shurikenstrike: Unown Leech Seed (Beldum) -> Scald (Beldum) -> Thunder (Surskit)

After a few quick tussles for the Unown, with Sludgestrike and Processor fighting over the L and Shurikenstrike and Gaze fighting over the S, Flamestrike's Pokemon win both Unown and then attack. Shurikenstrike uses Leech Seed on Processor while Sludgestrike uses a powerful Sky Attack on Gaze.

Gaze uses Agility to dodge any attacks from Flamestrike's team. However, he is completely ignored as Sludgestrike boosts Shurikenstrike's Scald with a Helping Hand. The Scald was strong, but not enough to burn Processor. Processor fires off a Zen Headbutt, leaving Sludgestrike in a critical condition.

Shurikenstrike then fires off a quick Thunder at Gaze. Gaze fights back by trying to scald the Staryu. Sludgestrike uses a Thunderbolt, also causing big damage. Processor finishes off Sludgestrike with another Zen Headbutt.

If you could keep track of the Unowns used that'd be great. Also you forgot to put Leech Seed in Beldum's status.

Brandon swore after seeing both his Sky Attack and Thunder miss. Instead of knocking Surskit down to the point where it would effectively be a 1 for 1 exchange of Pokemon, he was down a Pokemon and both of his were still relatively healthy. He recalled Sludgestrike and sent out Axestrike in its place, knowing that Stonestrike wouldn't last long against Surskit's watery onslaught. "Alright Shurikenstrike, start with a Thunder on Surskit, then go for a Scald on Beldum! Finish off with a second Thunder! Axestrike, nail Surskit with a Dual Chop, then a Slash, then another Dual Chop!"

Summary:
Shurikenstrike: Thunder (Surskit) -> Scald (Beldum) -> Thunder (Surskit)
If Surskit uses evasive Agility use Scald (Beldum) and replace all remaining actions with Thunder (Surskit) (note that this sub would reactivate if he used evasive Agility a second time, replacing that action with Scald again and leaving the rest of the actions as Thunder)

"I guess we shouldn't complain about having a little hax come our way. I have a feeling that one may come back to bite us later on though. Shurikenstrike fires off another Thunder, which causes some big damage to Gaze. Gaze, feeling like a little trickster after grabbing the T, begins to Torment Shurikenstrike. Axestrike tries to chop Gaze in half with a Dual Chop. Processor uses one of its four moves and hits Axestrike with Iron Head.

Shurikenstrike does absolutely nothing due to Gaze tormenting it. Axestrike tries to Slash Gaze into pieces. Processor uses its other STAB on Axestrike and uses Zen Headbutt. Gaze uses Freeze Ray (Ice Beam + Ice Beam) on Axestrike, causing big damage.

Shurikenstrike is still limited by its Tormentor, and Gaze has to cool down from its Freeze Ray. Axestrike finally finishes off Gaze with a Dual Chop. Processor gets a nice revenge kill for its friend by freezing time and using Roar of Time on Axestrike.

Brandon recalled Axestrike, thanking it for taking out the Surskit but still annoyed. "It shouldn't have taken two of my Pokemon to take out one of his," he muttered. "Alright, you're up Stonestrike!" A red flash, and a Rhyhorn appeared on the field. "At least with Surskit out of the way, the threat of Water type moves is reduced!"

"An unexpected KO but not that you see us complaining. Nice job Gaze, you certainly earned your keep in this one. We have to be very careful from here on out, both of our remaining team members are at somewhat of a type disadvantage. You'll lose STAB on your Rock and Ground moves, but you won't have quite so many easily exploited weaknesses, plus Zubat won't have an Unown to grab anymore! Then nail Zubat with a Stone Edge, and finish off with a Drill Run on Beldum!"

Summary:
Stonestrike: Unown Camouflage (Ground type, jayjinde decided that I get to choose through the power of the Unown) -> Stone Edge (Zubat) -> Drill Run (Beldum)
Shurikenstrike: Blizzard -> Unown Psystrike (Zubat) -> Blizzard
If Zubat is KOed A3 use Scald (Beldum) instead

Flamestrike, post

Brandon continued to fume as more bad luck came his way. "Alright Shurikenstrike, finish off that Beldum once and for with an Unown Blue Flare! Then throw a Thunder at Zubat, and finish with a Scald on it! If you can't get the Unown B action 1, then use Unown Magma Storm instead! Stonestrike, hit Zubat with a Stone Edge, then follow up with a Rock Slide! Finish off with another Stone Edge on Zubat! If he uses Fly action 1 or 2, then use a Stone Edge + Rock Slide combo to crush him when he comes down!"

Summary:
Shurikenstrike: Unown Blue Flare (Beldum) -> Thunder (Zubat) -> Scald (Zubat)
If Unown B is not available use Unown Magma Storm (Beldum) instead
If Zubat is KOed and Beldum is still alive replace all remaining actions with Scald (Beldum)
Stonestrike: Stone Edge (Zubat) -> Rock Slide -> Stone Edge (Zubat)
If Zubat uses Fly action 1 or 2 use Stone Edge + Rock Slide combo (Zubat) and push actions down
If Zubat is KOed and Beldum is still alive replace all remaining actions with Drill Run (Beldum)

And please stop haxxing me deadfox :(

"Ok guys, the hax is unintentional but certainly not unwelcome. I have a feeling you are both nearing the end of your time in this match-up but we need to make the most of what we have left. This Staryu is definitely Brandon's MVP but I do like where its energy levels are heading."

Processor: Unown A: Agility (Evasive) > Iron Head (Stonestrike) > Zen Headbutt (Stonestrike)
Sucker: Unown I: Ice Burn (Stonestrike) > Brave Bird + Brave Bird combination (Stonestrike) > Sludge Bomb (Stonestrike)

Shurikenstrike began to charge up a giant ball of fiery energy and fired it at Processor. Processor, however, was able to dodge out of the way with a very speedy Agility. Sucker began to surround itself with combinations of both fiery and icy energy. Stonestrike ran up and stabbed Sucker with the edges of its stony horns. Sucker then released the hot and cold energy into an Ice Burn, which hit Stonestrike pretty hard and even left it was a freezer burn.

Shurikenstrike then returned to its old tactics and fired off a Thunder at Sucker, who still doesn't like the electricity too much. Processor then used Iron Head on Stonestrike to cause a bit of damage, and then Flamestrike's team took a Rock Slide, which did very little damage due to the freezer burn. Sucker then decided to pull an America and used Eagle Heart (Brave Bird + Brave Bird) on Stonestrike, which left quite a dent in Stonestrike as well as a few gashes in Sucker from hitting those horns.

Shurikenstrike decided to throw Sucker into the Soup and cooked it to a boil, causing it to faint from the heat. Processor then decided to relax a bit and fainted Stonestrike with a very calm headbutt.

"And the hax keeps on coming... Sorry Flamestrike, I would have enjoyed pitting our wits against once another in a bit of a fairer contest. Sparks, I guess you're as good as any to finish this off."

Processor: Chill > Iron Head > Zen Headbutt
Sparks: Thunderbolt > Spark > Thunderbolt

Brandon sighed. At least the match was nearly over. But he wasn't going down without a fight. "Use Camouflage to become Ground type, then chill before finishing off that Beldum with an Unown Magma Storm!"

Camouflage (Ground type) -> chill -> Unown Magma Storm (Beldum)

Shinx is incredibly useless and decides to Thunderbolt again (-6 EN)

Staryu notices the newly come Electric-type Shinx to be a significant threat against her watery self and chooses to Camouflage itself in the ground in the hopes that it can survive the onslaught that must surely come. The ruse seems to work as the Shinx wildly Thunderbolts away, not affecting Staryu in the slightest. Beldum watches on with mild interest.

Taking a page from Beldums book, Staryu takes a break and chills, while Shinx remains focussed on its futile task, conjuring some Sparks to assist it. Beldum tries to break the monotony and slams its Iron Head into Staryus side, heedless of its camoflaguing nature.

Angered by the violent attack, Staryu summons the power of the soup and devastates Beldum with a vicious Magma Storm, knocking the bereaved creature out. Still lacking a clue, Shinx soldiers on, uselessly Thunderbolting once more.

Taking the initiative, Staryu fires a boiling jet of water at the Shinx, burning it with the Scalding heat. Using Staryu's type to its advantage, Shinx bites down on Staryu with icy fangs, scoring a critical hit in the process. Worn out, Staryu then takes some Valium to take a break. Using this to its advantage, Shinx sends a violent Energy Ball towards Staryu, courtesy of a friendly Unown that floated by. Not willing to give up, despite being worn out in both body and mind, Staryu sends another bout of Scalding water at Shinx, desperately hoping for a chance.
