Bouffalant:

(Pokemon Y) Their fluffy fur absorbs damage, even if they strike foes with a fierce headbutt.

Bouffalant gets Fur Coat as an ability

(Pokemon White) They charge wildly and headbutt everything. Their headbutts have enough destructive force to derail a train.

Bouffalant gets Head Smash
Bouffalant already gets Head Charge. Also, all recoil from moves should get canceled rather than having Fur Coat as an ability.

Swoobat

WhiteAnyone who comes into contact with the ultrasonic waves emitted by a courting male experiences a positive mood shift.

If a male swoobat uses attract it works regardless of the opposing pokemon's gender?

BlackIt emits sound waves of various frequencies from its nose including some powerful enough to destroy rocks.

Swoobats sound moves are super effective against rock types?

Throh

WhiteWhen they encounter foes bigger than themselves, they try to throw them. They always travel in packs of five.

When going up against larger pokemon, they have to use throwing moves, and when you use a throh, you have to use 5 at one time?

XWhen it tightens its belt, it becomes stronger. Wild Throh use vines to weave their own belts.

Grass moves also cause it to get stronger?

Leavanny.

It keeps its eggs warm with heat from fermenting leaves. It also uses leaves to make warm wrappings for Sewaddle.

If it uses a grass type move, all Sewaddle take half damage from ice types? (Because it's warmer?)

Venipede.

Its bite injects a potent poison, enough to paralyze large bird Pokémon that try to prey on it.

If it bites anything smaller then the largest bird pokemon, it inflicts a status of both poison and paralysis?

Swoobat

WhiteAnyone who comes into contact with the ultrasonic waves emitted by a courting male experiences a positive mood shift.

If a male swoobat uses attract it works regardless of the opposing pokemon's gender? If we do end up doing this, perhaps it would be sound-based attacks instead. Even so, it says "positive mood shift" not "attracted as well".

BlackIt emits sound waves of various frequencies from its nose including some powerful enough to destroy rocks.

Swoobats sound moves are super effective against rock types? Works for me. One thing I'm noting is that many pokemon can destroy rocks by doing something, which means that rock is kind of a crappy type here.

Throh

WhiteWhen they encounter foes bigger than themselves, they try to throw them. They always travel in packs of five.

When going up against larger pokemon, they have to use throwing moves, and when you use a throh, you have to use 5 at one time? That seems arbitrary and lame IMO.

XWhen it tightens its belt, it becomes stronger. Wild Throh use vines to weave their own belts.

Grass moves also cause it to get stronger? Perhaps Expert Belt gives x1.1 damage along with the x1.2 (or whatever) damage boost to SE hits.

Leavanny.

If it uses a grass type move, all Sewaddle take half damage from ice types? (Because it's warmer?) I think we're ignoring NFE pokemon, so this isn't important.

Furfrou

X: Trimming its fluffy fur not only makes it more elegant but also increases the swiftness of its movements

Exchanges Thick Fur for Speed Boost if it's hit by a move involving cutting?

Dragalge

X: Their poison is strong enough to eat through the hull of a tanker, and they spit it indiscriminately at anything that enters their territory.

Poison-type moves have neutral coverage again Steel types?

Eelektross

Black:They crawl out of the ocean using their arms. They will attack prey on shore and immediately drag it into the ocean.

Direct contact moves add Water-typing to the target?

Vivillon

Y: The patterns on this Pokémon’s wings depend on the climate and topography of its habitat. It scatters colorful scales.

Vivillion gets Marvel Scale?

Ok, so not counting nve pokemon then.

Medicham.

FR LG It elegantly avoids attacks with dance-like steps, then launches a devastating blow in the same motion.

If an attack against Medicham misses, then Medicham's next attack does 1.2 damage?

Swalot.

Ruby. When Swalot spots prey, it spurts out a hideously toxic fluid from its pores and sprays the target. Once the prey has weakened, this Pokémon gulps it down whole with its cavernous mouth.

Swallow should be an attacking move against weakened pokemon? Maybe instant k.o if the target is at less then 25%? (Also, maybe instant poison when it first sees a new pokemon?)

Edit: On second thought, if you let swallow still heal swalot as well as finish off the opponent, then it maybe it could serve as a poison staller, with protect to aid down in dwindling the foes health, and also slightly scaring switch outs with auto toxic.

Gastrodon

Pokemon Diamond: It has a pliable body without any bones. If any part of its body is torn off, it grows right back

Gastrodon gets Regenerator

Jumpluff

Pokemon Emerald: Jumpluff ride warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands. This Pokémon lands when it encounters cold air while it is floating.

When Jumpluff gets hit by a ice type move or if it is hailing, it loses its flying type

Sharpedo.

RubyNicknamed "the bully of the sea," Sharpedo is widely feared. Its cruel fangs grow back immediately if they snap off. Just one of these Pokémon can thoroughly tear apart a supertanker.

If Sharpedo is at -1 attack or less, it goes back up to 0?

Wailord.

XIt can sometimes knock out opponents with the shock created by breaching and crashing its big body onto the water.

There's a chance that the opposing pokemon will faint if Wailord uses dive, splash, bounce, or heavy slam?

Camerupt.

SapphireThe humps on Camerupt's back are formed by a transformation of its bones. They sometimes blast out molten magma. This Pokémon apparently erupts often when it is enraged.

If Camerupt is taunted or otherwise "angered", it automatically uses eruption? Would getting hit by a crit also trigger this rage, as implied by abilities like anger point?

Grumpig.

DiamondIt uses black pearls to amplify its psycho-power. It does an odd dance to gain control over foes.
Pearl
Platinum
HeartGoldIt can perform odd dance steps to influence foes. Its style of dancing became hugely popular overseas.

Grumpig clearly deserves to know teeter dance. (Not that teeter dance would actually help Grumpig much)

I think it's better to think that most base speeds are just wrong xD

So Golduck gets Swift Swim.

Okay, some collection of the IRC talk:
<&chaos> DRAGONAIR stores an enormous amount of energy inside its body. It is said to alter weather conditions in its vicinity by discharging energy from the crystals on its neck and tail.
<&chaos> should have air lock?

<%Joim> all Pokémon with "fast" in their falvor description shall have espeed in their movepool <. y
<%Growlithe> I've always argued for Pidgeot to get Extremespeed :(
<%Joim> if they have hands, mach punch
<%Growlithe> Machamp's Mach Punch
<%Growlithe> needs to be about
<%Growlithe> base 200
<%Growlithe> because it can punch 1000x in seconds
<%sandshrewz> macke that 1000x40 then
<%sandshrewz> lmao

<%Joim> Charizard (Stadium)
<%Joim> "Its fiery breath reaches incredible temperatures. It can quickly melt glaciers weighing 10,000 tons."
<%Joim> It has to OHKO any Ice type with any fire move. Even ember.

<&chaos> regice:
<&chaos> It is said to have slept in a glacier for thousands of years. Its body can’t be melted, even by magma.
<&chaos> i'm pretty sure that means its immune to fire
<%Growlithe> Regice w/ Flash Fire
<%Growlithe> lgi

<%Joim> Pikachu (Red) "When several of these Pokémon gather, their electricity could build and cause lightning storms. "
<%sandshrewz> Drizzle e_e
<%Joim> Therefor Pikachu has Drizzle?
<&GreatSage> only when there are six of them in your team
<%Joim> B/W: "It occasionally uses an electric shock to recharge a fellow Pikachu that is in a weakened state." That means if you have 2 Pikachus they heal eachother

<%Growlithe> TTar should get Rock Wrecker
<%Growlithe> since it can level mountains

<%Joim> Zapdos (Crystal) "Legendary bird Pokémon. They say lightning caused by the flapping of its wings causes summer storms. "
<%Growlithe> IT
<%Growlithe> FUCKING
<%Growlithe> GETS
<%Growlithe> HURRICANE
<%Joim> Of course it gets Hurricane
<%Joim> lgi

<&chaos> camerupt: "The volcanoes on its back have a major eruption every 10 years--or whenever it becomes really angry." so if it uses eruption, its either been 10 years since the last (unlikely) or its mad and therefore gets +6 from anger point
<%Joim> camerupt op
<%Growlithe> +6 from anger point

<%Joim> Mewtwo (Stadium) "A vicious psychic Pokémon created by genetic engineering. Its cold glowing eyes strike fear into the hearts of its enemies " That means we need a new pseudo-status, "fear", prevents enemies from moving

<&chaos> Crawdaunt: "Loving to battle, this Pokémon pinches all Pokémon that enter its territory with its pincers and throws them out."
<&chaos> perhaps its ability is auto red-card?
<&chaos> attack it and you get thrown out
<%Growlithe> all moves are circle throw

<%jdarden> Houndoom: The flames it breathes when angry contain toxins. If they cause a burn, it will hurt forever.
<%jdarden> 100% burn rate, can't be healed with aromatheraphy/heal bell
<%sandshrewz> badly burnt

<%Joim> Liepard "Stealthily, it sneaks up on its target, striking from behind before its victim has a chance to react." Liepard always attacks first

<&chaos> latias: "Its body is covered with a down that can refract light in such a way that it becomes invisible."
<%sandshrewz> illusion imo
<%sandshrewz> it can appear as anything
<&chaos> yeah illusion makes sense; latias is invisible and you see the next pokemon on your team

<%Growlithe> Ampharos needs Tail Glow

<&chaos> flygon: "It whips up sandstorms with powerful flaps of its wings. It is known as “The Desert Spirit.”"
<&chaos> sandstream flygon lgi
<%sandshrewz> it should still keep levitate though

(about Magikarp)
<%sandshrewz> Water Absorb
<%sandshrewz> + Rain Dish
<&chaos> that flavor text suggests it can survive any water attack, not that its immortal
<%Joim> water absorb then
<%sandshrewz> survive in an electrified water y/n
<&chaos> also "no matter how polluted it is"... immune to poison...?
<%Joim> ^ yeah!
<&chaos> def. immune to toxic

Gyarados
<%Joim> "Rarely seen in the wild. Huge and vicious, it is capable of destroying entire cities in a rage. "
<%sandshrewz> RAGE is OHKO
<%sandshrewz> or Thrash
<%Joim> Silver: "Once it appears, it goes on a rampage. It remains enraged until it demolishes everything around it. "
<%sandshrewz> or Outrage
<%Joim> It auto-outrages everything
<%sandshrewz> infinite turn Outrage
<%Joim> and no confusion
<%Joim> "Once Gyarados goes on a rampage, its ferociously violent blood doesn't calm until it has burned everything down. There are records of this Pokémon's rampages lasting a whole month. "
<%Joim> "burned everything down"
<%Joim> this supports the theory: outrage is indeed fire-type
<%Joim> Also, "It has an extremely aggressive nature. The Hyper Beam it shoots from its mouth totally incinerates all targets. "
<%Joim> hyper beam from gyarados = ko
<%Joim> platinum: "Once it begins to rampage, a Gyarados will burn everything down, even in a harsh storm. " <- he uses fire that does not debuff in rain

<%Joim> Serperior: "Serperior, the Regal Pokémon and the evolved form of Servine. Serperior's glare can halt its opponent's movement. It increases the solar energy it absorbs. " Serperior can learn Glare only when obtained from: gen 5 egg: arbok, dunsparce, ekans, seviper, ...
<%Joim> 100% acc Glare
<%Joim> "They raise their heads to intimidate opponents but only give it their all when fighting a powerful opponent. " Serperior gets intimidate
<%sandshrewz> SolarBeam is stronger or has no charge on serp

<%Joim> Mew (Silver): "Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques. " Mew must learn ALL moves.
<%Joim> Crystal: "Because it can learn any move, some people began research to see if it is the ancestor of all Pokémon. "
<&chaos> well, there you go
<&chaos> mew learns all moves
<%Joim> also it turns invisible too
<%Limi> invisible? guess you could give it illusion

Dragonite
<%Joim> Also, Stadium: "Has intelligence on par with people. This "sea guardian" is said to be capable of flying around the globe in about 16 hours."
<%Limi> that's more than mach 2
<%Limi> sounds like SOUNDPROOF

<&chaos> fera: "It usually moves slowly, but it goes at blinding speed when it attacks and bites prey." 78 base speed seems slow for this, so maybe it has reverse-prankster: attack moves have priority
<%sandshrewz> it has infinite ExtremeSpeed PP

<%Joim> Anime dex #1 for Salamence: "and has the fastest speed of all the Flying-type Pokémon. "
<%Joim> Another entry: "It becomes uncontrollable if enraged. It destroys everything with shredding claws and fire. "

<&chaos> umbreon: When agitated, this Pokémon protects itself by spraying poisonous sweat from its pores.
<&chaos> poison point?

<&chaos> forry: "It remains immovably rooted to its tree. It scatters pieces of its hard shell to drive its enemies away."
<&chaos> auto ingrain?

<%Joim> White Dex for Reshiram: "When Reshiram's tail flares, the heat energy moves the atmosphere and changes the world's weather. "
<%Joim> ^ air lock
<%Limi> air lock? more like drought

<&chaos> piloswine: "Because the long hair all over its body obscures its sight, it just keeps charging repeatedly."
<&chaos> hustle?

<%Joim> Gold dex for Celebi: "This Pokémon wanders across time. Grass and trees flourish in the forests in which it has appeared. "
<%Joim> heals all grass types upon switch in.

<%Joim> Cloyster is full of this mentions: "Its shell is extremely hard. It cannot be shattered, even with a bomb. The shell opens only when it is attacking. " but it learns shell smash
<%Joim> but he can't smash its shell in the first place!
@Piloswine: "It just keeps charging"
"Piloswine used charge."
"Piloswine's Special Defense Rose."
"Piloswine used charge..."

@Cloyster... so Bulletproof?

Seems interesting. I'll chip in with something:

Houndoom

"The flames it breathes when angry contain toxins. If they cause a burn, it will hurt forever."

Houndoom's Fire type attacks that cause a burn are incurable, as in, can't even be removed by Heal Bell, Refresh or the like.
As long as you don't mean an insta burn, I'm fine with this.

Ninetales

"Very smart and very vengeful. Grabbing one of its many tails could result in a 1,000 year curse."

Secondary Ghost type and an ability that activates Curse whenever the enemy makes Contact (Imagine how OP that would be with a 252 HP 252+ Def Spread).
Cursed Body IMO. Always curse is too much.

Hitmonlee

"If it starts kicking repeatedly, both legs will stretch to strike a fleeing foe."

If Hitmonlee uses an attacking move against a pokemon currently switching out, the move will gain a +7 Priority and will hit twice.
Kick moves should hit like pursuit does, but without the power buff.

Malamar

"It wields the most compelling hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, and it forces others to do whatever it wants."

The player using a Malamar can control the opponent's Pokemon?
Not on your life.

Haxorus

"Its tusks are incredibly destructive. They can easily slice through a thick, sturdy steel column every time."

Haxorus' Dragon moves are SE against Steel types (Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Poison Jab, Substitute and its gg)
I actually like this one, gives Haxorus a niche so to speak.

Mismagius

"Its cries sound like incantations to torment the foe."

Torment is auto-enabled whenever Mismagius is out, unless it's Sleeping or Frozen or the opponent Pokemon has Soundproof.
Sound moves have a 50% chance to inflict torment on the foe sounds more reasonable, don't you think?
Comments in bold.

I was thinking that malamar would just inflict the opposing pokemon with confusion as a way to simulate the control. Malamar gets confuse ray and inflicts a non-curable confusion till switched out?

I'd say no to non curable confusion, as that kind of luck dependence takes the skill out of the game, similar to Klefki.

If Blissey is attacked by a biting move, then the attacker's attack stat drops by 1 stage (Play nice decreases attack)

Contact moves make foes' further attacks unable to damage anything. Resets upon swithing

Pichu:

It is not yet skilled at storing electricity. It may send out a jolt if amused or startled.

electric-type rough skin type thingy?

Oo, this looks like fun.

Avalugg:
(X) Its ice-covered body is as hard as steel. Its cumbersome frame crushes anything that stands in its way.
Secondary Steel-typing and equipped with Rollout/Body Slam.

Manaphy:
(Pearl) Water makes up 80% of its body. This Pokémon is easily affected by its environment.
Equipped with Forecast and Weather Ball.

Emboar:
(B2&W2) A flaring beard of fire is proof that it is fired up. It is adept at using many different moves.
Equipped with Mimic, Me First, and Copycat.

Klefki- "These key collectors threaten any attackers by fiercely jingling their keys at them"

Wouldn't that give Klefki Intimidate?
Maybe I'm interpreting this wrong, but shouldn't it be rough skin? It threatens attackers with the chance of being hurt by the keys? (You know, like the rough part)

Oo, this looks like fun.

Avalugg:

Secondary Steel-typing and equipped with Rollout/Body Slam.

It doesn't say it's steel, it says it's hard as steel. And it does already get ice ball, but maybe it could get a tiny damage boost if using a "crushing" move?

Manaphy:
(Pearl) Water makes up 80% of its body. This Pokémon is easily affected by its environment.

Sounds interesting but doesn't make much sense for a pokemon 80% water to turn into a ball of fire. Seems more like it could be geared towards being effected more by terrain and weather moves.

Emboar:
(B2&W2) A flaring beard of fire is proof that it is fired up. It is adept at using many different moves.

Sounds like either adaptability for all moves (just give stab to all non stab-moves and normal effects for stab) or maybe just something like technician.
