Arceus is too powerful? I don't think so...Even with 17 formes and each one has multiple sets, countering fully EVed Arceus isn't as hard as you might think.

NOTE: I don't like using Arceus but I am posting this so you can know how to deal with that phat horse.

Arceus Introduction: Base 120 in every single stat, plus a ton of moves to choose from, Arceus can do basically anything? I doubt it. Arceus can become any type in the game as long as it holds the right plate. However, there are only 3 different kinds of Arceus that you should prepare for. Every set has it's own counters, and I will try to list all the possible counters.

For those of you who are still hiding in caves (quoted from Vulcan Fury), this thread will show you how to deal with Arceus.

Rock Arceus

Mono Attacker: Blissey, Chansey, Dialga*(Bulk Up), Garchomp, Groudon, Kyogre, Gastrodon, Palkia*(without sand), Ferrothorn, Excadrill, Metagross, Scizor*(can only revenge weakened ones), Terrakion, Heracross, Jirachi
The counters listed depend on what Rock Arceus is running as its filler move. Every physical attacker listed in there, with the exception of Dialga and Heracross need to watch out for Will-O-Wisp, while Blissey and Chansey will lose if it's running Refresh (I guess you can play the Snatch Blissey/Chansey game as well).

And how come you haven't got any supporting Arceus's in there? Yeah, they're not hard to counter, but they are all very legit sets.

Is there a "all are balanced" option in the poll?

Because IMO outside of Normal Arceus I think the others are pretty much equal. Each have their pros and cons.

True that each have their pros and cons but there are some that stAnd out other than the normal type, such as steel and ghost type arceus sets
I reAlly can't see things like psychic arceus and flying arceus having the same overall usefulness thAn steel arceus for example
Hmm

my brother is one of the many n00bs i know that loves using that really cheap pokemon but uses crappy evs and movesets i vote bug just because of how easy it is to kill with my charizard and the fact that bugs just plain suck

The worst Arceus type is pretty much completely up to personal preference.

I do not see any intelligent discussion coming from this, unfortunately. Locked.
