Here are the winners!

DNA Donors: Kyurem-W + Rotom
Fusion name: Kyutom-White
New type:

New base stats: 87 / 95 (+10) / 93 (+10) / 132 / 93 (+5) / 108 (+15)[BST 608 (+40)]
New ability and desc: Turborise [Turboboost + Levtiate] - User is immune to Ground-type attacks. This immunity cannot be bypassed by Mold Breaker-esque effects
Notable moves: Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Earth Power, Blue Flare, Freeze-Dry, Roost, Shadow Ball, Will-o-Wisp, Pain Split, Hail, Blizzard, Ice Burn
Role identification: A relatively fast and powerful wallbreaker, Kyutom-White has absolutely insane coverage and STAB moves. Its type is mediocre defensively, and its bulk is just ok, which hold it back from being completely overpowered. It can run a variety of sets, ranging from a simple Scarf set to more strange sets like Z-Hail or Z-Ice Burn.

DNA Donors: Magnemite + Xerneas
Fusion Name: Xernemite
New Type: Steel/Fairy
New Base Stats:90(+15)/83/92(+10)/113/86(+10)/82(+5) [BST: 546]
New Ability and Desc: Magnet Pull + Fairy Aura = Pixie Lure: Prevents Fairy-types from switching out.
Notable Moves:
- STAB: Moonblast, Flash Cannon
- Coverage: Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Psychic, Psyshock
- Support/Status: Aromatherapy, Calm Mind, Geomancy, Thunder Wave
Role Identification: At first glance, Xernemite may not seem like much of a threat. Its stats are decent at best, with only its SpA breaking 100, and its movepool isn't particularly diverse. However, as it turns out, Xernemite has just the right combination of typing and ability to make it a verythreatening sweeper late-game.

See, Pixie Lure lets it trap Fairy-types, and thanks to its typing, there are a lot of Fairies that it can set up on with impunity. What this means, essentially, is that you have a free turn of set up- or several, if you want to go for Calm Mind instead of the usual Power Herb + Geomancy combo. Don't take this seemingly underpowered fusion lightly.

Parents: Cherrim + Groudon
Shared egg group: DNA
Offspring name: Cherron
New type: Grass/Ground
New base stats: 105/125/105/93/84/87 (+20 HP, +20 Atk)
New ability and desc: Flower Power (Increases Attack and Special Defense by 1.5x, no ifs or buts about it) [Flower Gift + Drought]
Notable moves: Petal Blizzard, Earthquake, Precipice Blades, Swords Dance, Stealth Rocks, Morning Sun, Rock Polish, Dragon Tail, Leech Seed, Aromatherapy,
Role identification: Its stats, while good, aren't exactly FE level... but its Ability raises them to be a very brutal tank or setup sweeper. It's the strongest in the game (unless I'm missing something) when it comes to mega-less physical attacks. It's far from infallible, though, as its typing is poor, even having a 4x weakness to Ice.

Parents: Cherrim + Groudon-Primal
Shared egg group: DNA
Offspring name: Cherron-Primal
New type: Grass/Fire
New base stats: 105/155/125/143/84/87
New ability and desc: Desolate Land
Notable moves: Flamethrower, Solar Beam, Fire Blast, Petal Blizzard, Fire Punch, Morning Sun, Growth, Rock Polish, Stealth Rocks, Leech Seed, Aromatherapy
Role identification: I personally don't think it's as good as normal Cherron, but it's pretty good in its own right. It can block opposing weathers, set up, and hit with powerful Flamethrowers and Solar Beams. It could be better on some teams.

Parents: Dialga and Delcatty
Shared egg group: DNA
Offspring name: Dialcatty
New type: Steel/Normal
New base stats: 85/107 (+15)/92/107 (+5)/77/110 (+20)
New ability and desc: Normalized Enemy (Pressure + Normalize) - All enemy moves become Normal-type.
Notable moves: Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Fake Out, Baton Pass, Wish, Sucker Punch, Double Edge, Return/Frustration, Play Rough, Power Gem, Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Brick Break, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Stone Edge, Shadow Claw, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Hyper Voice, Stealth Rock, Iron Head, Heal Bell, Zen Headbutt
Role identification: First off, just look at how wide this thing's coverage is. It can hit an incredibly wide range of pokemon effectively thanks to having an amazing level of coverage both for physical and special sets. Additionally, it is an amazing defensive pokemon, because while 85/92/77 bulk isn't that good, it makes up for it by resisting almost every move that hits it: the only exceptions are those boosted by Tinted Lens or a similar ability, and attacks from Pokemon with Mold Breaker variants, which means it can switch in on nearly anything. Unfortunately, Dialcatty suffers from having rather mediocre stats all across the board, causing it to deal underwhelming damage and making it unable to get past many defensive pokemon while being outpaced by a fair few offensive threats, and its ability removes its immunity to Toxic and other poison moves, an immunity it could have really enjoyed. If fighting another Fusion Evolution team, Sigillow annihilates this thing utterly, along with many other Pokemon that have a Tinted Lens or Mold Breaker variant as an ability.

DNA Donors: Shiinotic / Lunala
Offspring Name: Lunatic
New Type: Fairy / Ghost
Base Stats: 118/79/90/120/110/63 (+20 HP +6 Def +7 SpA +7 SpD)
New ability and desc: Effect Spore + Shadow Shield = Fungal Shield: Takes half damage from direct attacks at full HP. If the shield is broken by a contact move, the offender is inflicted with either Sleep, Paralysis or Poison. Cannot be bypassed by ability ignoring abilities and moves.
Notable Moves: Moonblast, Calm Mind, Moongeist Beam, Roost, Strengh Sap, Spore, Will O Wisp, Thunder Wave, Psychic/Psyshock, Focus Blast
Role Identification: A support mon is its name, supporting is its game. Lunatic has an excellent defensive typing and a powerful ability to back it up, guarenteeing that it cripples physical attackers that make contact. It can also run CM sets well.

DNA Donors: Granbull / Ho-oh
Offspring name: Gran-Ho
New Type: Fairy / Fire
Base Stats: 100 / 140 / 100 / 85 / 110 / 69 (+2 HP, +15 Atk, +18 Def, +3 SpD, +2 Spe)
New ability and desc:Pressurate (Intimidate + Pressure) - Opponent's moves' PPs are halved when this Pokémon enters the field.
Notable Moves: Sacred Fire, Fire Punch, Play Rough, Close Combat, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Iron Head, Crunch, Earthquake, Super Fang, Will-O-Wisp, Recover, Heal Bell, Tailwind
Role Identification: WIP

DNA Donors: Xerneas / Liepard
Offspring name: Lies
New Type: Fairy / Dark
Base Stats: 115 / 109 / 72 / 109 / 74 / 122 (+20 HP, +0 Atk, +0 Def, +0 SpA, +0 SpD, +20 Spe) (BST 601)
New ability and desc: Mana Potion (Fairy Aura + Unburden) – Powers up Fairy-type moves by 33%. When an item is consumed, the power of Fairy-type moves is doubled instead.
Notable Moves: Geomancy, Moonblast, Megahorn, Horn Leech, Close Combat, Outrage, Psyshock, Thunder, Focus Blast, Flash Cannon, Pursuit, Fake Out, Taunt, Night Slash, Sucker Punch, Nasty Plot, Hone Claws, Play Rough, U-Turn, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, Iron Tail, Seed Bomb, Trick
Role Identification: Why hello there, Absol-Mega. The strategy is simple: boost while preferably consuming an item, then murder everything with Moonblasts or Play Roughs. Fairy/Dark coverage is excellent, and if something resists it there’s a chance one of your coverage moves can hit it, most likely Close Combat/Focus Blast. Geomancy is as good as ever, but Nasty Plot or Hone Claws on the physical side can be used too. Alternatively, since it has Trick and U-Turn, a Choice item set is entirely possible, pressuring the opponent if they ever decide to Knock Off the item. I told you I’d give Xerneas Play Rough!

DNA Donors: Dialga / Vivillon
Offspring name: Viva
New Type: Steel / Flying
Base Stats: 110 / 86 / 88 / 120 / 90 / 91 (+20 HP, +0 Atk, +3 Def, +0 SpA, +15 SpD, +2 Spe) (BST 585)
New ability and desc: Piercing Gaze(Pressure + Shield Dust) – This Pokémon cannot be inflicted with a move’s secondary effect. Any move with a secondary effect used against this Pokémon loses 2 PP instead of 1.
Notable Moves: Ancient Power, Power Gem, Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Thunder Wave, Dragon Tail, Stealth Rock, Powder, Sleep Powder, Light Screen, Quiver Dance, Roost, U-Turn, Giga Drain, Tailwind
Role Identification: Step aside, Skarmory, here’s the REAL Steel/Flying utility Pokémon the world deserves. Granted, it does not have Defog, but it has everything Skarmory has and loads more. It obviously has Stealth Rock, reliable recovery in Roost, but also added utility in U-Turn and Thunder Wave + Dragon Tail, as well as Tailwind or Sleep Powder. It’s also immune to secondary effects (so no Serene Grace abusing this guy) and sports respectable 110/88/90 bulk. On the offensive side, it has access to the coveted Quiver Dance, with an usable 91 Speed stat and a cool 120 SpA stat. And now, the coverage. Oh god, the coverage. While the lack of reliable Flying STAB isn’t cool, it compensates by having BoltBeam, Fire attacks for opposing Steel types, Earth Power for Fire-types that would bop it, and even stuff like Giga Drain. Finally, a gimmicky option is to run Powder to troll opposing Fire Pokémon thinking they can get rid of Viva in one fell swoop

Parents: Pyukumuku + Giratina
Shared egg group: DNA
Offspring name: Girutukumuka
New type: Water/Ghost
New base stats: 122 (+20)/90 (+10)/130 (+5)/65/130 (+5)/47
New ability and desc: Pressured Innards - If this Pokémon is KOed with a move, that move loses all its PP.
Notable moves: Recover, Will-O-Wisp, Dragon Tail, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Iron Head, Shadow Sneak, Aqua Tail, Shadow Force, Stone Edge, Taunt, Defog, Destiny Bond, Hone Claws.
Role identification: Jellicent just got... Jelli. :P Seriously though, Girutukumuka (Long Name = Best Name) is VERRY bulky. 122/130/130 is amazing bulk, and it takes advantage of that bulk with Recover, which it FINALLY gets because Pyukumuku is amazing. It has Defog and Hone Claws, so it can do some setup stuff if you'd wish or remove rocks, and luckily has some good STAB Priority in the form of Shadow Sneak and 90 attack which is decent. Moving past all that, it's ability is AMAZING. It really kind of makes your opponent think about what they wanna use. If they use their strongest move and KO you with it, they can't use it anymore, meaning your next Pokémon can take advantage of their opponent having 1 less move to use.

And the Lord Helix himself......

Parents: Omanyte+Arceus
Shared egg group: DNA
Offspring name: Omneus
New type: Water/Normal
New base stats:77/80/110/125(+20)/87/97(+20) (BST 576)
New ability and desc: Spiral Power (Swift Swim+Multitype)-Changes secondary type and doubles Speed while holding a plate or Z-Crystal.
Notable moves: Judgement, Shell Smash, Defog, Earth Power, Surf, Recover, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt
Role identification: Okay, you got me, this was just submitted for the meme. However, despite that, it has very good stats for something fused with Omanyte of all things. It has insane levels of diversity, with the ability to serve as a Shell Smash sweeper, Defogger, pseudo-wall, supporter, Stealth Rock setter, and just about anything Arceus can do in Ubers.

So that's it. Now thats that, where do we go now? If you are still interested in contributing - you have three options.

  • Continue (or start if you havent already) to contribute to Fusion Moves. We'd like to blaze through most of the moves by coding is ready to be finished, but the thread suffers from a lack of contribution. Speaking of coding....
  • Coding. Spandan isnt as active as he used to, and while we have a general framework, the newest fusions have no code whatsoever, particular kinks need fixing and many moves and abilities need coding. PM me, OM room or Stitch98 if you are interested.
  • Art. We art for the fusions. A selected few have full sprites (Haxados, Vapourine) and many more have sketches. But we really need some art sketches, sprites anything until the Fusion Evolution mod is hostable and the art thread can go up again. Art can be posted in this thread.
So guys, thanks for all your help and contribution, and I hope when this is all through, we can open submitting again!

Here are some Pixel Art for ya. If anyone is up for a few touches and fixes, feel free to edit them

Escagon:

I do not mind that none of my fusions had won, but what happens if some, if not most of the fusions, turns out to be too overpowered than its intended to be A-ranked or S-ranked viable?

I'm not kidding, some of the fusions are crazier and more risqué than others (no offense intended, I said it in a good way).

Vivillon is a 1.2m-tall butterfly. It scares me now.
Also thanks to everyone who voted for the guys, I'm very happy to have my Play Rough-wielding Xerneas fusion as an official Fusion !

There were already OP monsters in fusion evolution. None of these "uber fusions" are overpowered.

Oh yeah, I remember this one.
It was quite the challenge to find a mon that hadn't won twice AND interesting enough to be fused.

I think that was the one where I got a Cloyster fusion in by accident. =]

Still, it's quite sad to see things winding down here for a bit. I mean, discussing slate ideas seems a bit redundant, and the last time we tried a CCAT it sank without trace, so until the code's up to snuff and the pet mod's a proper mod... what is there to be done?

So let's talk about our favourite submissions! What was everyone's favourite submission/s and why?

I'll start the ball rolling with Basculin-Basculin. It's a joke. An amusing joke, with a fantastic (if double-edged) ability, but still ultimately a jokey, gimmicky fusion that slightly goes against the spirit of things. And I love it. So often there was a lot of serious fusions trying to be competitive in OU, but I have a real soft spot for the lower tier fusions that wouldn't feel too terribly out of place in mainstream OU or even UU. Scyscor is a good example, a somewhat unassuming fusion in amongst the complete monsters knocking around, Houdini is a fantastic one-use item abuser (Focus Sash + super-blobby Wish support, anyone), and Exdoom can do serious damage if it switches in on an -Ate abuser's Hyper Voice. However, it's still the gimmick mons I love best. Smelly, Shrek, Crematoria, they're all brilliant, but you know which one my absolute favourite is. You know.

PARP

Its because I was in a good mod why Shrek even got in.

Some of my favourite fusions that are not my own... I like any Thundurus fusion, and Electrivire + Conkeldurr is actually really fun. I do agree that half of the fusions couldn't play each other cuz of power levels. Gimmicks are fun, but not if they can't function.

Out of the several fusions I have locked up, my fav three are: Rapipom, Snoopa and Dugterra. Rapi takes shite mons and turns it into something incredible. It had such a lasting impression the next three slates had at least one mon that counters flinching.
Snoopa just sounds and feels lovable, not to mentio its amazing competitive use. Dugterra was a rehashed idea of a post someone dropped in the OG thread when onlty primary typings were allowed, but revolved around trapping foes that hit it with Dark type attacks. I knew that idea sucked and was too situational, so a few minutes of thought later Dark type Magnet Pull was born.

I have to say many of my favourite fusions didnt even make the list.

Yknow, by sheer coincidence, I actually made a mon which did pretty much the same thing with Electric-type attacks (Rhynezone was weird, man)

C'mon guys, don't begin to look back on this mod, it'll give the impression that it's over and that depresses me.
Do I really need to explain why it wouldn't be fitting for me to be depressed when I have freaking Mako Mankanshoku of all people as an avy ?

As for favorite fusions, I honestly can't remember them all, but any Meloetta fusion is good in my book.
I also kinda like joke fusions, such as this Magikarp/Cosmog fusion AquaticPanic (was it you ?) submitted, or even this slate's Omneus.
If it's for memes, then I'm all up for it.

Ah, yes, the God itself, Magmog. Sadly, it was desqualified. Probably too strong and unhealthy for the meta

Tbh I like fusions that have more then one form (Crematoria's one of them, obviously). Just more versality in general. Other fusions I like are PZ/Cahndelure, Basculin-Basculin and of course PARP
