"Hah-hah-hah! Thanks to the continued cooperation of everyone on Team Rocket, our army of Fusion Evolutions has been flourishing with more and more powerful creations by the dozen!"

"Hmm... I feel like something is missing..."

"What do you mean, doctor?"

"Think about it. Considering the power level of most of our fusions, it seems that they tend to consist of well developed parents or have an Ability to compensate. But what of the unevolved Pokemon...?"

"...And your plan?"

"If you would excuse me, I wish to conduct some independent experimentation."

"Very well. I await your results."

.
.
.
.
.

"Okay, let me see here..."

"If I use this piece of the Fusion Stone on Magby and Elekid... Huh? The fusion seems to have worked, but there is still energy left within the stone. Could this be...inviting me to alter the DNA of the fusion? Oho! This is precisely what I was searching for: a reason for experimentation on lower-stage Pokemon fusions! I shall report my findings posthaste!"

.
.
.
.
.

"Sir Giovanni, I have returned."

"Anything to report?"

"Naturally."

handed to Giovanni

"Hmm... Much easier DNA manipulation, huh? Excellent work, doctor. I suggest that you present your findings to the Grunts, in the form of a side project with a name of your choice."

"Thank you, Sir."

.
.
.
.
.

"Listen up, Grunts! The reason why I called you all here is to introduce a side project that I call Fusion Prevolutions. Our test subjects shall be currently documented Fusion Evolutions of two parents with lesser forms. You are to find their lowest stage forms and fuse them together based on a set of guidelines that I shall provide. Also keep in mind that these Fusion Prevolutions are to be reported with the intention that they will only face other prevolutions in battle. That is all. Dismissed!"

"Aye, Sir!"

Role Identification: Aaabbb
Dex Entries: Aaabbb[/hide]
Derived Fusion: Which existing fusion is the basis for this prevolution? For example, Magmovire.

Prevolution Components: What are the two lowest-form Pokemon involved in the prevolution? For example, Magby / Elekid.

Prevolution Name: Give the prevolution a custom name that somehow ties the two components together. For example, Elemag.

New Type: Give the prevolution a typing that takes one type from each component, even if the typing differs entirely from that of the derived fusion. (In some cases, like FE #188 Escagon (Escavalier + Flygon), the typing must differ entirely.) For example, Elemag must be Fire/Electric.

Base Stats: As with any Fusion Evolution, start off by taking the average of each base stat, rounded half down. For example, Elemag would start off with 45 / 69 / 37 / 67 / 55 / 89.
What to do afterwards depends on whether or not the components of the derived fusion share the same Egg group--in other words, whether the derived fusion is Parent or DNA.
 • If the derived fusion is Parent, add +5 to each base stat (50 / 74 / 42 / 72 / 60 / 94 in the Elemag example), and then add a total of 20 BST--with no more than 10 in each stat--afterwards.
 • Otherwise, add a total of 30 BST, with no more than 15 in each stat.
These are the specifics behind "much easier DNA manipulation."

New Ability and desc: The Ability of the prevolution can either be that of its derived fusion (as long as it's justifiable flavor-wise, as in no out-of-the-blue form changes or Levitate variants), or a combination of one Ability from each prevolution component. However, if deciding upon the latter step, the Ability combination cannot be the same as that of the derived fusion, without being completely the same. (Name, effect, all that.) By inheritance or otherwise, if the resulting Ability is a combination of two of the same Ability (which ends up simply being identical to the Ability in question), then the prevolution gets an extra +5 to all stats.

Role Identification: Discuss competitive aspects of the prevolution. This can involve outlining pros and cons, explaining the previous fields, and/or bringing up some notable moves from which the prevolution can benefit.

Dex Entries (*NEW*): Give some flavor to the prevolution and its derived fusion. For example, what is the origin and behavior of the species in question? The prevolution and derived fusion will most likely be roughly the same in terms of typing, Ability, and even role, so this is the place to make a similar submission unique or a differing submission justifiable.

Voting
After submission phase, users vote for the prevolution submission(s) that they wish to have irrevocably associated with each of the fusions in the slate. Here is how it works:
 • For each fusion, vote for no more than 1 prevolution submission. Keep in mind that votes are simply counted, not weighted.
 • If you submitted for the slate in question, you can cast no more than 3 votes for your own submissions.
 • If one or more submission(s) end up with the highest number of votes, there will be a tiebreaker to determine the true winner(s). During the tiebreaker, each user only votes for 1 submission per prevolution, with no self-voting involved.

Miscellaneous
Fusion Prevolutions get boosted by Eviolite--partly because both components are guaranteed to be NFE, partly because Eviolite is an integral part of Little Cup, and partly to compensate for the lack of usable Mega Stones. Species-exclusive Z-Crystals, however, cannot be used by Fusion Prevolutions.

Fusion Prevolutions do not have access to the Fusion Moves of their derived fusions, because some Fusion Moves contain component moves that are not learned by the prevolution components.

Current Banlist
 • Dragon Rage and Sonic Boom
 • Fusion Prevolutions involving Scyther and/or Type: Null

Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Prevolution Components: Mudkip + Inkay
Prevolution Name: Mini Pukka
New Type: Water/Psychic
Base Stats: 60 (+4)/69 (+2)/60 (+4)/48/60 (+7)/50 (+3) (BST: 347)
New Ability and desc: Dribble (Damp + Contrary): This Pokémon's stat changes are inverted. If this Pokémon is the target of an enemy self-destruct move (Self-Destruct, Explosion, &c), all its stats are raised by 1 combat stage (unaffected by inversion).
Role Identification: Not terribly competitive, but more based on fun than anything else. It has a reasonable Attack and Speed stat for LC, and its ability gives it a niche as a deterrent of suicide leads, but beyond that and a bit of Contrary Superpower antics, there's not a huge amount to do. =]

Derived Fusion: Gyarotic
Prevolution Components: Magikarp + Feebas
Prevolution Name: Pike Barge
New Type: Water
Base Stats: 25/17/42/27 (+10)/42/95 (+10) (BST: 246)
New Ability and desc: Full Bream Ahead (Swift Swim + Adaptability): This Pokémon's Speed stat is doubled in Rain or Heavy Rain. This Pokémon's STAB modifier is increased to 2x; when rain is active, this Pokémon's STAB moves deal double damage.
Role Identification: Extremely fast and surprisingly potent Rain sweeper, though an extremely predictable one. While its offensive stats are pretty low for a sweeper, the ability allows it to bludgeon past people with unexpected efficacy, though it must be careful of special walls and Water-immune fusions.

Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Prevolution Components: Azurill + Froakie
Prevolution Name: Azarole
New Type: Water/Normal
Base Stats: 45/53 (+15)/40/41/42/60 (+15) (BST: 281)
New Ability and desc: Strange Fruit (Huge Power + Protean): Abilities combined.
Role Identification: A Huge Power sweeper with a lot more versatility and STAB options. Acrobatics in particular is a fun move to use, being a 110 BP STAB move when you're not holding an item or have expended it. There's also a form of priority in STAB Quick Attack, STAB Knock Off, and Iron Tail to deal with the tier's presumably-many Fairies (and to just give it a good defensive typing).

Derived Fusion: Mismatross
Prevolution Components: Misdreavus + Tynamo
Prevolution Name: Disarmament
New Type: Electric/Ghost
Base Stats: 57/67/60/85 (+10)/72/92 (+10) (BST: 433)
New Ability and desc: Levitate
Role Identification: Not much to see here, just a fairly boggo special attacker. However, with three immunities and only two weaknesses, it's a pretty good one, able to switch in on a variety of moves and set up with Nasty Plot.

Derived Fusion: Haxardos
Prevolution Components: Cranidos + Axew
Prevolution Name: Anorexic
New Type: Rock/Dragon
Base Stats: 66/116/60/40/55 (+10)/77 (+10) (BST: 414)
New Ability and desc: Mould Breaker
Role Identification: Brutal physical attacker with one of the strongest STAB moves in the game, and one that cannot be evaded by abilities. Reasonable defences for an LC attacker and a great offensive STAB combo means it can put a serious dent in whatever it comes across. Just be careful with the moves you select - the tier's preponderance of Fairies means Outrage simply isn't as viable as it might be.

Just keep in mind that you can do more than one sub per slate. I only have one cause I didn’t prepare much in advance :P

Derived Fusion
: Swampamar (Swampert + Malamar)
Prevolution Name: Inkip (Mudkip + Inkay)
New Type:

Base Stats: 76 (+10) / 77 (+10) / 56 / 48 / 53 / 47 (347 BST)
New Ability and desc: Turnabout Torrent - Water-type moves of the user is boosted by 50% as long as user is above 1/3 HP; the user's stat changes are reversed.
Role Identification: Superpower. That's about it.

thats a lotta water

also, hooray for revival of the Lore! fusionitemswhen

Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Prevolution Components: Mudkip + Inkay
Prevolution Name: Inkip
New Type: Dark/Water
Base Stats: 56/77/56/48/63/47 (+10 Attack, +10 Special Defense)
New Ability and desc: Turnabout Torrent (Torrent + Contrary): User's water moves are boosted by 1.5x while above 1/3th HP, and its stat changes are inverted. (same as base fusion)
Role Identification: Scaled down version of its evo. While it loses Hammer Arm and EQ, its stats are much better than Inkay's.

Dex Entries:
Swampamar: The second creation of the Fusion Stone. Its hypnotic powers are weakened, so it goes for more... direct ways to damage a target's mind.
Inkip: The lights on its fin glow depending on atmospheric movement. In spite of its strength, it tends to hide even when it's winning.

Derived Fusion: Gyaraotic
Prevolution Components: Magikarp + Feebas
Prevolution Name: Magibas
New Type: Water
Base Stats: 40/22/52/22/52/90 (+10 HP, +5 Def, +SpD)
New Ability and desc: Swift Swim (Swift Swim + Swift Swim): It's Swift Swim. (gets stat bonus)
Role Identification: The most OP thi- no, not doing this joke. Magibas has rather pitiful offenses, but reasonable bulk and good speed. A good supporter, but oops, it's got a shallow movepool.

Dex Entries:
Gyarotic: Its instincts are conflicting at all times. Its wild mood swings are brought on by this.
Magibas: Between Magikarp's weakness and Feebas' shabbiness, it is one of the most pathetic beings in existence. It appears hardier than ever, though.

Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Prevolution Components: Azurill + Froakie
Prevolution Name: Azukie
New Type: Water/Normal
Base Stats: 55/48/45/46/47/60 (+5 HP, +5 Attack, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Protean Power (Huge Power + Protean): When attacking, changes type to that of the attack. If it stays the same type for more than one turn, Attack 1.6x, otherwise attack 1.3x.
Role Identification: Azuninja is cool, but its ability is the disappointing kind of gimmicky. On the other hand, Azukie is the useful kind of gimmicky. It hits hard, and if it uses the same attack multiple times, it hits even harder. It could use more Physical coverage, though...

Dex Entries:
Azuninja: When not doing anything, it hides and listens intently. If an enemy appears, it strikes with incredible force.
Azukie: While a powerful combatant, it bounces around happily and spreads bubbles everywhere while no one is looking.

Derived Fusion: Mismatross
Prevolution Components: Misdreavus + Tynamo
Prevolution Name: Misdreamo
New Type: Ghost/Electric
Base Stats: 57/67/60/85/72/92 (+10 SpA, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Levitate (+5 to all stats. By the way, shouldn't its evo get the stat bonus too?)
Role Identification: "A frailer, faster version of one of its parents with a second STAB" wouldn't sound like much... if said parent wasn't an LC Uber. Misdreamo can be used in similar situations as Misdreavus, just with a little more oomph behind its Thunderbolts and some free resistances.

Dex Entries:
Mismatross: While it knows many incantations, its big, clumsy mouth made more for biting often mispronounces them. This makes its magic wild and unpredictable.
Misdreamo: Large groups of Misdreamo gather to pull tricks on people. They often don't work.

Derived Fusion: Haxardos
Prevolution Components: Axew + Cranidos
Prevolution Name: Axidos
New Type: Dragon/Rock
Base Stats: 66/126/60/40/45/77 (+10 Attack, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Mold Breaker (+5 to all stats.)
Role Identification: Powerful attacker that, unlike Cranidos, can actually be expected to get off an attack.

Dex Entries:
Haxardos: It has powerful tusks that can level a skyscraper with ease. It small brain often forgets about them, however.
Axidos: When its hard tusks break, they come back even stronger. It locks its tusks against other Axidos to break them intentionally.

Derived Fusion: Garchados
Prevolution Components: Gible + Magikarp
Prevolution Name: Magible
New Type: Ground/Water
Base Stats: 44/55/55/32/37/76 (+10 Attack, +10 Speed)
New Ability and desc: Rough Swim (Rough Skin + Swift Swim): While in rain, speed is doubled. If an opponent makes contact with this Pokemon, they take 1/16th of their max HP in damage, or 1/8th if it's in rain.
Role Identification: Actually pretty decent! While it lacks a Water STAB option, it does have decent attack and either Z-Splash or Z-Celebrate to boost it.

Dex Entries:
Garchados: It combines Gyarados' city-destroying power with Garchomp's supersonic speeds. Its creators clearly neglected the behaviors that make these capabilities so famous, judging by the body count.
Magible: It bounces around frequently. Pidgeotto will think it's a Magikarp and swoop in, only to be bitten.

Derived Fusion: Wailcatty
Prevolution Components: Wailmer + Skitty
Prevolution Name: Wailitty
New Type: Normal/Water
Base Stats: 105/72/45/57/40/60 (+10 HP, +10 Atk)
New Ability and desc: Normal Veil (Water Veil + Normalize): Immune to Normal moves. (same as base fusion)
Role Identification: Well, Wish coming from 105 base HP, and Heal Bell... I guess.

Dex Entries:
Wailcatty: Thanks to its size, it produces a large amount of Delcatty's fur. While it was bred to stop Team Rocket, it is naturally more popular to shave fur off it and use it in fashion products than it is to battle with it.
Wailitty: While it's cute, most people back out of taking one as a pet after hearing of its size. Bouncing around and chasing its tail aren't as cute from a whale-kitten is almost as big as you are, after all.

Derived Fusion: Gargatr
Prevolution Components: Gible + Totodile
Prevolution Name: Gibile
New Type: Dragon/Water
Base Stats: 59/82/59/47/51/57 (+10 Atk, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Sheer Sand (Sand Veil + Sheer Force): Moves with secondary effects lose them and get a power multiplier- 1.3x normally, 1.5x in sand.
Role Identification: strong boy with setup and stuff. sadly none of its dragon moves are boosted by sheer sand but them's the grapes. its waterfalls are still cool so using it is a good idea.

Dex Entries:
Gargatr: While both its parents are capable of fast movement, they do it in very different ways. When Gargatr is moving fast, it looks incredibly silly.
Gibile: Its powerful jaws are notably powerful. It will attempt to bite basically anything, and can cause injuries, including to its trainer. And itself, somehow.

Inkip
Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Combined Pokémon: Inkay + Mudkip

The First.
New Typing:

Ability: Turnabout Torrent Contrary + Torrent - At 33% of HP or higher, Water-type moves are boosted by 50%. All stat changes are inverted.
Stats: 61 HP +10 / 77 Atk +15 / 56 Def +5 / 48 SpA +5 / 58 SpD +10 / 47 Spe +5
Notable Moves:
: Waterfall, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Superpower, Rock Tomb, Avalanche, Double-Edge
: Scald, Whirlpool
: Topsy-Turvy, Destiny Bond
Role Identification: Spam Superpower.
Pokédex Entries:
Inkip:
This is one of Project: Fusion Evolution's very first creations. It can lift boulders, but will flee after draining an opponent's willpower to fight if necessary.
Swampamar: After hypnotizing its desired prey, it has an opportunity to knock it out. Due to this, only a select few are allowed to wield it.
Mega Swampamar: Due to Mega Evolution, its lights can no longer completely hypnotize a person. Despite this, it's even more dangerous than before, as nothing is known to withstand a punch from it.

Feekarp
Derived Fusion: Gyarotic
Combined Pokémon: Feebas + Magikarp

Weak mons become beasts of destruction. Eventually.
New Typing:

Ability: Swift Swim Swift Swim + Swift Swim - Doubles Speed in rain.
Stats: 30 HP +10 / 22 Atk +10 / 52 Def +15 / 22 SpA +10 / 52 SpD +15 / 100 Spe +20
Notable Moves:
: Waterfall, Flail, Iron Tail, Return
: Scald, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam
: Z-Splash, Z-Celebrate/Happy Hour, Light Screen, Mist, Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Mud Sport
Role Identification: This thing's got its Speed in the triple-digits, and on top of Swift Swim, is good with Rain Support. Thing is... It crumbles easily without Z-Celebrate and needs Z-Splash to hurt, and for the latter, it's only got Waterfall, Return, and Iron Tail to make use of that, meaning a Steel-type that resists Water can just sponge it out.
Pokédex Entries:
Feekarp:
Though the experiment was initially deemed a failure, it was given another chance. It wants to become beautiful and strong, but neither can describe it in this state.
Gyarotic: Upon evolution, it was difficult to confine. Its violent habits are all that undermine its beauty.
Mega Gyarotic: Mega Evolution has further enhanced Gyarotic. The jets on its side can allow it to snag prey that it doesn't catch off-guard easily.

Azukie
Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Combined Pokémon: Azurill + Froakie

A Mouse and a Frog. Huh.
New Typing:

Ability: Huge Torrent Huge Power + Torrent - Doubles Attack when its HP is below 33%
Stats: 50 HP +5 / 53 Atk +15 / 45 Def +5 / 46 SpA +5 / 47 SpD +5 / 60 Spe +15
Notable Moves:
: Waterfall, Return, Z-Bounce, Quick Attack, U-Turn, Rock Slide
: Scald, Ice Beam
: Toxic Spikes, Refresh, Work Up, Z-Splash
Role Identification: Can start off supporting or setting up. Then go ham.
Pokédex Entries:
Azukie:
It's shrouded in delicate bubbles, which help suppress damage. It can throw its tail like a lasso, either for escape or for combat.
Azuninja: It spends lots of time in water, using its patterns and speed for trickery. Then, it ambushes by throwing star-shaped projectiles made of water.

Tynadreavus
Derived Fusion: Mismatross
Combined Pokémon: Tynamo + Misdreavus

Eel Specters :O
New Typing:

Ability: Levitate Levitate + Levitate - The Pokémon is protected from Ground-type moves.
Stats: 47 HP +10 / 62 Atk +15 / 50 Def +10 / 75 SpA +20 / 62 SpD +10 / 77 Spe +15
Notable Moves:
: Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Charge
: Charge Beam, Thunderbolt/Thunder, Shadow Ball, Psychic, Power Gem
: Nasty Plot, Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Curse, Thunder Wave
Role Identification: Misdreavus gets Electric-type moves via TM. Now, Tynadreavus gets STAB Thunder/bolt. It has 62 Attack to make use of STAB.
Pokédex Entries:
Tynadreavus:
Though on its own its electricity is weak, having multiple can emulate lightning. They do this to scare people and feed on their fear.
Mismatross: Most of its incantations torment those who hear it. It chomps into any prey that hears them, electrocuting the prey in the process.

Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Prevolution Components: Mudkip / Inkay
Prevolution Name: Mudkay
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 56 / 77 / 56 / 48 / 53 / 57 (+10 Atk, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Turnabout Torrent (same as derived fusion) – Water-type moves of the user is boosted by 50% as long as user is above 1/3 HP; the user's stat changes are reversed.
Role Identification: Good attack stat but average other stats. Its ability boosts the power of its Water STAB as long as it stays healthy, which it unfortunately has trouble doing because of lack of reliable recovery.
Dex Entries:
Mudkay: Mudkay's body is covered in light-emitting spots that confuse opponents who look at them. While they are dazed, it attacks with strength great enough to move boulders.
Swampamar: Swampamar has powerful hypnotic abilities which it uses to force prey into submission before finishing them off with its powerful arms. For their own enjoyment, Swampamar have been known to hypnotize people into doing unethical or embarrassing things they would never normally do.

Derived Fusion: Gyarotic
Prevolution Components: Magikarp / Feebas
Prevolution Name: Magibas
New Type:

Base Stats: 40 / 22 / 47 / 32 / 37 / 85 (+10 HP, +10 SpA)
New Ability and desc: Fish of the Rain (Swift Swim + Adaptability) – The STAB is increased to 2x. When it is rainy, the Pokemon’s Speed and power of Water-type moves are doubled.
Role Identification: The ability makes its Water-type attacks hit surprisingly hard under rain. Still practically useless though.
Dex Entries:
Magibas: Magibas is unusual for its amazing fertility and vitality, able to reproduce in huge numbers even in dirty water. While these properties make the Pokemon a popular subject for scientific research, it remains unpopular with most Trainers because of its ugliness and helplessness.
Gyarotic: The serpentine body of Gyarotic inspires both great fear and great awe from those who view it. Considered both beautiful and powerful, Gyarotic can both soothe the hearts and minds of people and Pokemon when it is calm, or it can devastate entire towns if it is enraged.

Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Prevolution Components: Azurill / Froakie
Prevolution Name: Azukie
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 50 / 53 / 45 / 46 / 47 / 60 (+10 Atk, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Huge Torrent (same as derived fusion) – Doubles Attack at 30% of HP or less.
Role Identification: Its stats are all relatively average but it gets doubled Attack if its HP is reduced.
Dex Entries:
Azukie: Azukie's large tail is filled with nutrients needed for it to grow, and its body is covered with frothy bubbles for protection. When an Azukie is under attack, it throws its sticky bubbles to blind and immobilize its attacker and attempts to escape by bouncing on its tail into nearby water.
Azuninja: Azuninja's ears are extremely keen at sensing even the quietest sounds, both above and under water. When it locates prey, swiftly dashes around it while throwing stars of compressed water sharp enough to slice through metal.

Derived Fusion: Mismatross
Prevolution Components: Misdreavus / Tynamo
Prevolution Name: Misnamos
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 57 / 67 / 60 / 85 / 72 / 92 (+10 SpA, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Levitate (Levitate + Levitate, +5 to all stats)
Role Identification: Strong and fast special attacker with good bulk and STAB moves.
Dex Entries:
Misnamos: While somewhat weak alone, multiple Misnamos gather together to lure victims into secluded places using electrical light shows before scaring them and draining the victims' life energy. If there are many Misnamos, they can potentially drain all the life from their unfortunate victims.
Mismatross: Mismatross enjoy torturing victims using incantations, giving people terrifying visions and shocking them with electrical energy to paralyze them to prevent escape. Mismatross then drains their life energy at its leisure, while the helpless victims can only hope for the Pokemon to be merciful.

Derived Fusion: Haxardos
Prevolution Components: Axew / Cranidos
Prevolution Name: Cranew
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 61 / 121 / 55 / 35 / 40 / 72 (+10 Atk, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Intense Rivalry (same as derived fusion) – Bypasses targets' abilities if they could hinder or prevent a move if the target is the same gender
Role Identification: Hits very hard on the physical side with good speed too.
Dex Entries:
Cranew: Cranew was resurrected from a fossil. It uses its sharp tusks both to intimidate rivals and enemies as well as for crushing berries to eat. If the tusks aren't enough to ward off opponents, Cranew will resort to using their rock-hard skulls to bash opponents.
Haxardos: Haxardos are extremely territorial and will attack intruders using their tusks and skulls, which are as hard as iron. Downed trees and smashed boulders often mark where these Pokemon fight.

Derived Fusion: Garchados
Prevolution Components: Gible / Magikarp
Prevolution Name: Gibikarp
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 50 / 55 / 55 / 32 / 37 / 70 (+6 HP, +10 Atk, +4 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Denticles (Rough Skin + Swift Swim) – The opponent is hurt by 1/8th of its max HP of recoil when using a contact move against this Pokemon. When it is rainy, this Pokemon’s Speed and the contact recoil are doubled.
Role Identification: Has an average attack stat and good speed. Its ability punishes contact attack users, especially under the rain where they lose 1/4th of their max HP just for touching Gibikarp.
Dex Entries:
Gibikarp: Gibikarp are very fertile and can quickly produce many young. The geothermal caves where they live would quickly become filled with Gibikarp if they weren't so vulnerable to predators. They only have sharp skin ridges and tough fins to protect them.
Garchados: Garchados can fly around at high speeds, charging into groups of small Pokemon and swallowing them whole. Notoriously short-tempered, an angered Garardos will attack everything in sight.

Derived Fusion: Wailcatty
Prevolution Components: Wailmer / Skitty
Prevolution Name: Wailkitty
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 95 / 62 / 55 / 57 / 50 / 60 (+10 Def, +10 SpD)
New Ability and desc: Normal Veil (same as derived fusion) – This Pokemon is immune to Normal-type moves.
Role Identification: Quite bulky but has no reliable recovery. Average attacking stats and mediocre typing mean it doesn’t hit very hard, though it does have access to Z-Splash.
Dex Entries:
Wailkitty: Wailkitty is a large but playful Pokemon. People who live near the sea often keep them as pets, as Wailkitty are content bouncing around on beaches, acting as rafts for people to sit on, and spraying water at people and other Pokemon for fun.
Wailcatty: Unlike Wailkitty, Wailcatty is content being on its own, as it enjoys doing as it pleases rather than having to follow the guide of others. Wailcatty are also popular for their size, with people traveling around the world hoping to get a glimpse of the Pokemon.

Derived Fusion: Gargatr
Prevolution Components: Gible / Totodile
Prevolution Name: Gibodile
New Type:
/

Base Stats: 59 / 82 / 59 / 47 / 51 / 57 (+10 Atk, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Torrent Veil (same as derived fusion) – When this Pokemon has 1/3 or less of its max HP, its evasiveness is 1.25x, and its Water attacks do 1.5x damage.
Role Identification: Has high attack but mediocre other stats.
Dex Entries:
Gibodile: Living in caves, Gibodile has a tendency to bite anything that moves, often lunging out of the water at unsuspecting cave explorers. It has a strong bite for its size, but it isn't innately a violent Pokemon.
Gargatr: Gargatr are usually slow moving and prefer living in calm waters, where their prey often also gather. When a victim approaches, Gargatr leaps at it with incredible speed and power, clamping its jaws down on the victim before dragging them into the water where it shakes its head vigorously to tear its unlucky victim to shreds.

EDIT: In accordance with the new rules, I have edited some of the abilities and added dex entries for each Pokemon, both the prevolutions and their evolved forms.

Guys, after looking over this thread, something came up that I think needs to be addressed.

When I first shot the original idea to Rev, I fully intended for this to be a flavour driven project. Take the CAP Project and its Prevo project as inspiration - the OG project is primarily driven by competitive insight, while its prevo project is a flavour based one.

Fact is, this isn't.

Realistically, mons rarely change typing or ability during evolution, and while cases in which this is unavoidable will and do exist (a couple do in this very slate), changing stuff up willy nilly just because you can can't fly. If you decide that your changing this aspect for the prevo, VERY strong flavour evidence to
support such a change is required. And if its insufficent, it can't fly.

Now, I do understand that this makes submissions very similar to each other and makes it harder to chooses a winner, so I decided to add a new and fun aspect that will trigger the creative aspects of submitters - family DexEnteries! I've always wanted to give fusions their own DexEnteries, and this medium gives us an avenue to do so. So from now on, you can submit flavourful DexEnteries for your prevos AND their parents. Sorry for the inconveniences this causes, and I'll extend submissions two more days to compensate for changes that are due

G-Luke - Understandable. I edited the submission guidelines accordingly.

Also, I retract my previous statement regarding the voting rules.

thats a lotta water

also, hooray for revival of the Lore! fusionitemswhen

Added some Dex entries and changed Magible's type to be more in line with that of Garchados. Not sure if the flavor justification for the abilities is good enough, though.

Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Prevolution Components: Mudkip + Inkay
Prevolution Name: Mudink
New Type: Dark/Water
Base Stats: 56/77/56/48/63/47 (+10 Attack, +10 Special Defense)
New Ability and desc: Turnabout Torrent (Torrent + Contrary): User's water moves are boosted by 1.5x while above 1/3th HP, and its stat changes are inverted. (same as base fusion)
Role Identification: Spam Superpower. Mudink also has pretty powerful Water STAB, so take advantage of that as well.

Dex Entries:
Mudink - It thrives in deep muddy pools and swamps, and swirls patterns into the mud in an attempt to hypnotize prey and predators alike

Swampamar - Swampamar uses it advanced skill in hypnosis to control and influence whatever happens in the swamp it resides in.

Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Prevolution Components: Azurill + Froakie
Prevolution Name: Azukie
New Type: Normal/Water
Base Stats: 50/53/45/46/47/60 (+10 Attack, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Huge Torrent (Huge Power + Torrent): same as Derived Fusion
Role Identification: While its evolved form has a very gimmicky ability and a bunch of signature moves to try subplant that fact, Azukie has VERY strong secondary STAB in Double Edge which helps it to trigger Huge Torrent. It relies on Belly Drum to deal worthwhile damage.

Dex Entries:
Azukie - It uses bubbles and a floation device on its tail to keep afloat, as it has yet mastered the ability to swim.

Azuninja - Azuninja purposefully lets the target hit it in an attempt to weaknen it. If it succeeds in this endeavour, it unleashes its full brutal strength in a barrage of razor sharp shurikens, ripping hapless victims to shreds.

Derived Fusion: Haxardos
Prevolution Components: Axew + Cranidos
Prevolution Name: Cranax
New Type: Dragon/Rock
Base Stats: 66/126/60/40/45/77 (+10 Attack, +10 Spe)
New Ability and desc: Mold Breaker (+5 to all stats.)
Role Identification: Super potent Dragon Dancer but is very prone to priority.

Dex Entries:

Cranax - They spend their days sharpening their tusks on the unbreakable domes of their Cranax brethren.

Haxardos - Extremely territorial, they lock in constant battles with anything that shares their gender. The females are surprisingly even more territorial than the males.

OK BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I GOT WHEN I SAW ESCAGON BEING MENTIONED. My first winning fusion, it's so nice to see it in the OP of a thread.

Either way, onto the thing:

Derived Fusion: Gyarotic
Prevolution Components: Magikarp / Feebas
Prevolution Name: Geebask
Typing: Water
Base Stats: 30 | 22 | 57 | 22 | 57 | 90 (+10 Def | +10 SpD)
Ability: Swift Swim
Role Identification: Uhhh... It can be really fast under rain, I guess? The max you can do with this is troll foes with Haze.
Dex Entries:

Geebask: When first found, it was thought to be a new pattern for Magikarp. However, as time passed by, it became obvious that Geebask wasn't just a variation of Magikarp, but a hybrid of it with Feebas. It combines the different scales from both parents, making it sturdier and stronger than both. Unfortunatly, that's not saying much.

Gyarotic: Gyarotic are smart Pokémon. They attract different species underwater with their beauty, only to then proceed to attack it's prey with its sharp fangs it has derived from Gyarados. It has easly adapted to live in any kind of lake or sea. It is a very rare species, however.

Mega Gyarotic: Once able to unleash it's rage, Gyarotic becomes brutal. It hardens it's scales and sharpen it's fangs, becoming even prettier, but lethal. It usually loses control when in this form if the trainer hasn't prepared Gyarotic enough.

Derived Fusion: Swampamar
Prevolution Components: Mudkip / Inkay
Prevolution Name: Kipikay
Typing: Dark / Water
Base Stats: 56 | 77 | 56 | 48 | 56 | 54 (+10 Atk | +3 SpD | +7 Spe)
Ability: Turnabout Torrent
Role Identification: For a LC, it has a pretty good attack stat. Can use Knock Off effectively against foes
Dex Entries:

Kipikay: Kipikays are strange creatures. Unlike most creatures, it is not born in a larval or baby stage. Rather, it just is born in it's teen to adult stages. They don't take too long to reach their adult stage either, doing so after they are able to learn the move Hypnosis.

Swampamar: Swampamar are a very territorial species. Whenever someone gets near their swamp, a group of Swampamar will use their hypnotic powers to make the intruders go away. They do so in order to protect the Kipikays in the area until they master they hypnotic powers. Once all of them are able to do so, the group usually migrates to the ocean.

Mega Swampamar: Once able to Mega Evolve, Swampamar changes from Hypnotic tatics to brutal force. Their muscles become much stronger and bulky. The power of mega evolution powers up Swampamar in almost every aspect, except on it's hypnosis

Derived Fusion: Azuninja
Prevolution Components: Azurill / Froakie
Prevolution Name: Krillazulie
Typing: Water / Normal
Base Stats: 51 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 50 (+1 HP | +7 Atk | +5 Def | +4 SpA | +3 SpD)
Ability: Moss Cleaner (Sap Sipper + Torrent) - Absorbs Grass and Water moves. Boosts Attack by one stage whenever hit by either
Role Identification: All-Around mon. Support sets are possible due to Froakie's movepool, and offensive sets are pretty viable as well.
Dex Entries:

Krillazulie: Krillazulies are fragile creatures. They often bubble themselves to protect from predators. They are able to expel a cleaning substance that is capable of removing any kind of impurity from any surface.

Azuninja: Once an Azuninja finds a pray, it will cover it in bubbles to try to immobilize and blind the pray. The more Azuninja is damaged, the stronger it gets.

Derived Fusion: Missmatross
Prevolution Components: Misdreavus / Tynamo
Prevolution Name: Dynamiss
Typing: Electric / Ghost
Base Stats: 57 | 67 | 67 | 85 | 67 | 80 (+7 Def | +10 SpA | +3 Spe)
Ability: Levitate
Role Identification: Fast special sweeper. Not much to explain here
Dex Entries:

Dynamiss: Being of a child-like nature, most Dynamisses just like to prank around are are really playful, as well as having a lot of energy to spend. They may occasionally accidentally hurt others with their pranks, but they can't cause any kind of serious damage to most Pokémon

Mismatross: Although it looks scarry, it never causes any threat for others, unless it is defending itself. It retains Dynamiss' dynamic energy. Most Mismatrosses are found on abandoned train stations, searching for random broken trains to mess with, at an attempt to prank people.

Derived Fusion: Wailcatty
Prevolution Components: Wailmer / Skitty
Prevolution Name: Merkitty
Typing: Normal / Water
Base Stats: 100 | 63 | 50 | 57 | 50 | 60 (+5 HP | +5 Def | +10 SpD)
Ability: Normal Veil
Role Identification: Immune to Fake Out, high HP Wish and a not bad Bulk.
Dex Entries:

Merkitty: Known as the "Mermaid Cat", Merkitty is a pretty popular pick for a pet for people who live by the beach. They like to hop and bounce around, often creating waves full of fur.

Wailcatty: Being known for it'd oddity, it is a Pokémon that usually lives isolated and alone. Even though it is able to live both in the sea and in the land, it is not a common sight in either locations.

Derived Fusion: Gargatr
Prevolution Components: Gible / Totodile
Prevolution Name: Dileble
Typing: Dragon / Water
Base Stats: 59 | 82 | 59 | 47 | 59 | 49 (+10 Atk | +8 SpD | +2 Spe)
Ability: Torrent Veil
Role Identification: Physical attacker that gets scarry when it has low HP
Dex Entries:

Dileble: They are mostly docile creatures. However, they can easly end up playing a bit dangerously with it's trainers, as they usually bite for fun. Their jaws are powerful enough to effortlessly break an arm.

Gargatr: Being a threat in land and in water, Gargatr is at the top of the food chain. If it finds a boat passing by, it will feel threatened and attack it, destroying it with a single bite, due to the raw power of it's jaw.

Mega Gargatr: When it reaches full power, Gargatr is an extremamly dangerous Pokémon. It is able to hide under sand and take almost any enemy by surprise. It's jaws are able to rip entire ships appart.

This is a really cool Pet Mod and unfortunately due to busyness from my part I won't be able to submit for this slate, but since this is mostly about flavor, I think it'd be nice to give Fusions that both parents are stage 2 Pokémon a Middle Evolution. So for example, instead of slating Totodile and Gible only, also slate Croconaw and Gabite as well. This is just a suggestion though, and I think it'd be nice to implement, obviously these would be banned from FE LC, but I still think it'd be a nice addition.

Expanding on that, what would be done for unaligned fusion lines? For example, Mismatross, where you have Misdreavus and Mismagius but Tynamo, Eelektrik, and Eelektross?

I need to ask a flavour question: Since fusions are apparently produced by a scientific project, are they out in the wild or mostly in containment?

Its always the lowest possible mbers of the family that get fused. Eelektrik just bite the bullet.

This is an interesting thought, especially as you said, its primarily flavour based. I'll back on that later.

Also, do you have anything in mind as to when/how/if we can give the Dex Entries to fusions that don't have LC forms?
I wouldn't want to clog up threads, but during discussion phases I don't see why it couldn't exist.
