That sounds similar to the Nickname Game or whatever you guys call it now. The basic rule is you get given a Pokemon and you have to make the best name for it I think.

A while back I thought of an idea to make a sort of casino room. Detective Dell told me to run this by the game corner. It would involve betting "coins" and then rolling dice to see who had a higher number. That person wins the coins bet, and then could buy perks from a store of sorts.
The one issue with dice rolling games at the moment is that with the new kids on the block, Survivor and Table Top, they both use dice rolling. I also believe that game corner have a dice game however I have not been in there in ages so I don't know really (maybe I should come back?). I don't know though, it just seems the market is crowed right now.

I said the nick name game not as an idea pitch for the contest, but as a way to keep chat from ded periods instead of minly wyr in between games ._.

Yeah, we gave a "NickGames" game we already play. The users quite like it.

Im saying play nickname ame more often; as often as you guys play wyr to prevent ded periods ._.
I don't play any games more than another, but some of the users and staff do. I'll attempt to do so, although, you still need to have users that are currently active for NickGames to flourish.

Banned deucer.
I thought of a Game, I dont know the name for it yet, so ill take names. So you can join anytime, and its a little contest. There would be a pokemon that doesnt have a mega evolution, and you have to think of a new ability, typing, stats, or whatever you think the Pokemon should have as a mega. the judge would decide the best of the choices. Im just not too sure if this is similar to nickgames, cause it has a similar structure.
This is literally my worst nightmare, this is the reason i'm never in main anyone.

Lol. Rohep made me laugh with his replies. This was a good way to start my morning xD
Best of luck to the person who wins btw.

I was rather hoping for a Dex Entry submission amongst all these.
My game though, i was thinking about a game along the lines of Parameters. Someone says three pokemon, Suicune, Zoroark and Zigzagoon for example. There is no clear link between these pokemon. Because of this, the players would have to use their creativity and pokemon knowledge to come up with a similarity. For my example it could be that they all appeared in the "Pokémon: Zoroark: Master of Illusions" film.
I'm not sure how this could be adapted or changed to suit the rooms, and i don't have a name. It's just a cool concept of an idea i though of ^-^

This is pretty much just the game Commonyms, Zak. Only really fucking specific.

Find that user!

The process of finding a user is inevitably simple. But what if there's a twist? All players except one form the finders team to find out.
When the game begins, the one user should leave every room that he/she's currently in. Then, that user changes his/her username to something else, as well as changing his avatar to something that isn't that commonly used (to distinguish the user from the crowd). Lastly, that user joins some random room, and engages in conversation with the other users like you would normally. The finders team must find that user! If they managed to find the user, they must give a good reason as to why they think it's that user in particular. To make it kinda fair, the solo user must also pm one random person in the room that they haven't pm'd already every 3 or so minutes saying something like "I'm hiding from a mob. Shhhhhhh," as well as drop tiny little hints from time to time that they're hiding from other users in the chat. After some amount of time, the game ends. If the finders found the user, they win. If the user hasn't been found, that user reveals him/herself and the room they were in, and said user wins. Simple right?

Other Rules:
/whois and /w commands, or their aliases are unfair. You can't use them.
The solo user cannot join the Lobby. Believe me, he/she would be too hard to find.

This idea is terrible isn't it :c

No offense, but imo this can take to long, and there's no way to prove a person isn't using / commands. If people weren't cheaters, this might be a good choice

It sounds interesting. The one thing i personally critique is that I have other rooms to watch so it might not work out for people with auth in other rooms. And the fact that cheaters would exist. Also pming people in the chat random things is rather odd. Just clues about the username would probably be best

An idea I have is that we can do a game kinda like "1 vs 100" type of game. If y'all are unfamiliar, one person takes on a team of 100 (referred to as the Mob) in a series of multiple choice Q&A's. (It doesn't necessarily have to relate to Pokemon) Obviously, the mob won't be 100 people. (Thought it would be sweet to have ;D) The mob and the single person will be determined by the host from the signups. (/me in) If a member of the mob gets a question wrong, he/she will be eliminated, and those who have gotten the answer right will pursue forward. The game concludes when the "chosen one" gets a question wrong or the last member of the mob is eliminated. (more rules to come if this gets approved)

I loved that show Sav. I think it would be fun to play even if we can't get 100 people. (Would be sweet though)

So, one more game I have (Yes, this does involve very short periods of battling) is called Battle Road. You have three teams, the professor (host(s) only), The Protagonists, and The Rivals. The Professor deals out pokemon for the protagonists to use, same with the rivals. The Professor deals out 1 pokemon to each player. Then, you go down the roster of Protagonists and Rivals who play each other in a short, 1v1 one match. The Brackets for this are randomly shuffled using something like challonge, so no bias takes place. Basically, once you lose, you're out. The goal is to be the team that eliminates all of the players from the opposing team. To make this go quickly, all of the battles can happen at once. I know it isn't the best game, just a thought.

Seems somewhat complicated to setup. Would this not require a # to build a tourney if it is a challonge?

Yeah that's fine, just letting everyone know that challonge and the PS tournament script are very different.
