    Tournament Rules
    Time: 2:00 PM onward
    Entry Fee: $15
    1) Bravely Default for 3DS
    2) Pokemon 3DS XL Traveling Case (worth ~$20)

Oh look, it's another local tournament thread.

This is the first year that GTGamefest has held a Pokemon video game tournament, and fortunately, it's in the VGC14 format! The entry fee's pretty high, but you can still make a profit in the top 2. The tourney takes place in Swiss format, with the Finals being best of 3. There's also a Pokemon TCG tournament if you're more interested in that.

I don't know if I'll be able to make it due to my new job, but I'll be there if I can. Good luck!

Dang! Looks like I got beat to the punch making this thread. As it turns out, I will be the tournament admin for the Pokemon VGC and TCG events at GT Gamefest so if you have any questions or concerns about the event, feel free to PM me or ask here!

Edit: Also a little bit of clarification: The 15$ is not an entry fee for just Pokemon, it's for the whole tournament. This includes entrance to a whole host of other tournaments taking place you can view on the above link as well as a free T-shirt and free pizza!

Aww :( This is the first one I haven't been able to go to in the past 2 years.

This is a well run event though. It should be pretty fun.
