[GHOST] Leader zarator vs. Dogfish44

This passage... this may be the climax of this narrative!

In a match that is truly highlighting the advantage of acting second zarator decisively steals back the lead in a move that makes Bide look paltry in comparison. Without actually using a directly offensive move the tricky Froslass has sapped newly sent out Eget of most of her HP in a single round! Utilising her speed, and basically all of a 70 energy bank a series of Pain Splits allows Auril to live through some devastatingly strong Fire attacks from the Chandelure before Bonding their Destinies together and falling to the final blow. Our leader may be down to one Pokemon but his Gengar has almost double the HP of Dogfish's combined team. That said absolutely anything could happen now with the challenger getting to act second.

Ominous Wind - Shadow Ball - Ominous Wind
If Chandelure uses Endure, replace your respective action with Toxic and push your actions back. Do not play this substitution more than once in this round.

Proving that your own trick may indeed be used against you, Dogfish turns around and does almost the exact same thing to our leader as was done to him last round. A timely Endure from Eget makes certain that no direct damage source will bring her down and draws some Toxic poison out of Cyric. Of course in her current state she can more than live the residual damage and after enduring a couple of direct shadowy blasts the Chandelure is able to Pain Split twice to end up with more HP at the end of the round than she started with and all but tear down zarator's HP lead in the process. I told you it was all about ordering second.

Being forced to order first when going in for the kill, at least our challenger has the safety net of another Pokemon in the wings. He finds Eget unable to do any real damage to the leader's lone Ghost as Cyric just Protects itself from a super concentrated blast of flame and readies to face off with Nimbus.

Just as the keen observer thought it might, getting to act last in the most crucial round of all has resulted in victory for our challenger. Thinking a sleeping Clyclohm couldn't be all that dangerous Cyric tried to use some Hypnosis on its way to victory. Unfortunately zarator didn't account for the fact the move can still miss! So while Gengar tried in vain to inflict Nightmares on a not even close to asleep Nimbus the Dragon simply won the day with a pair of Thundershocks to give Dogfish44 an unprecedented fourth ASB badge!

"Good game, that got far closer than I usually like. Perhaps if you'd like, you can tackle my gym and try to get revenge? Anyway, I bid you farewell!"

Wow. I'm dumbstruck! I know a lot of words, but right now I can't figure out how to say this. Perhaps, if the feeling I'm having now is put into words, it will be trapped there. So let me say this... My feeling is you're a great Trainer!

Good game and thank you for a tense match, Dogfish! We'll see about that revenge some day^^
