Glaceon [QC 0/3]

Overview
=========
  • High Special Attack (Base Power 130)
  • Limited moveset
  • Bulk of 65/110/95 easily overlooked
Wall Glaceon @ Leftovers
=========
Move 1: Wish
Move 2: Protect
Move 3: Toxic
Move 4: Frost Breath/Ice Beam
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def / 4 SpAtt
Nature: Bold

Moves
=========
  • Classical Wish/Protect combination for keeping healthy
  • Toxic can cripple at HP of opposing walls or limit the time of a sweeper
  • Frost Breath/Ice Beam in the fourth slot for a STAB attacking move.
    I personally prefer Frost Breath as it can simply ignore the boosts in Special Defense of Calm Mind users such as Musharna or Xatu.
Set Details
=========
  • The EV spread tries to maximize the physical defensive powers of Glaceon, making fully use of its Base 110 Defense.
  • The Bold nature is chosen for the same reason as above.

Usage Tips
=========
  • Find an opening to cripple an opposing pokémon with Toxic, (ab)use the Wish/Protect combination.
  • Try to anticipate incoming Steel and Poison types to either switch out to a counter or attack with Frost Breath/Ice Beam.

Team Options
=========
  • A strong Fighting type like Sawk or Primeape are excellent partners who can hit Steel types hard with a STAB Close Combat or Earthquake (which can also hit Specially Defensive Poison types who can easily take Frost Breath/Ice Beam).
  • Partners with Fire type moves are very much appreciated.
  • A team mate with Defog or Rapid Spin as Glaceon is weak to Stealth Rocks.
  • Since Glaceon cannot heal itself from status moves, a partner with Heal Bell is also much appreciated by Glaceon.

Other Options
########
  • Special Defensive Wall, but will be less effective in taking hits.
  • Standard Choice Specs/Scarf attacker (but not the subject of this thread)
Checks & Counters
########
  • As mentioned above, this set cannot hit Steel types. Specially Defensive Poison types are also a pain for Glaceon.
  • Bulky water types, especially those who can cure themselves from Toxic.
  • Strong super effective special attacks will be able easily OHKO or 2HKO the physical defensive set and vice versa.

Did you get permission to write this analysis? You should explain why it should have one in this thread. I think most of us can agree that Glaceon is pretty much outclassed at any role it does and isn't worth an analysis, but maybe you could convince us.
