Speedy match!
3vs3 NFE single duels
1 day dq
2 recoveries/1 chill
Arena: Duelist field (jay will explain)
Ref: Jayjinde (talked on irc)
no items
one abillity
switching is allowed (not really)

The arena is similar to the ASB Arena, but with one key difference. It'll be 3 (due to it being 3v3) Singles battles occuring simultaneously. Whoever sends out second gets to choose the match-ups, giving a large advantage at the beginning if you're largely counterteamed. Once Pokemon are paired up, they may attack their opponent and only their opponent. If each side is able to get one KO, then the winners of those duels face each other in their current state. If a Pokemon gets a kill, it is able to chill once per round for free. If the match gets to Xv1, then the leading player's Pokemon are all able to finish the remaining one in an essential brawl. Also, it's 3 Actions per Round per Pokemon.

OK, here's how it's gonna go:
Glacier's going to choose his abilities
shuckles is going to choose his abilities, who battles who, and actions
Glacier's gonna pick some actions
I'm gonna ref this heinous idea of mine

"Welcome to the battling world my new friends! this might be a bit bumpy, but i will help you get through this!"

Quicksilver, This is not a good type up at all! you are at a large disadvantage, but let's see if we can't turn things around. Protect yourself from the earthquake, then attack with a Heat Wave! Finally set up a Yawn, sleepy sleepy!

Felix, You aren't in the best of situations either, but we can prevail! Time to make this larvitar beg! Launch a Thunder Wave first, then shoot a Will-o-Wisp! Finally, end the round with some Toxic!

Dexter, time to show everyone what you are made of! Make the sun shine with Sunny day! Slugma's attack will be raised too, and then you can launch two boosted Flamethrowers since gible is slower than you!

Rotom begins the match off by doing the n00b mistake of using Thunder Wave on a Ground type (it's like Yellow all over again). Castform decides to do something a bit more productive and causes the sun to shine quite brightly. The sudden change in weather also activates Forecast and changes Castform into it's Sunny form. Eevee grabs some of the dirt off of the field's green and throws it into Castform's face, attempting to blind it. Gible tried to use Earthquake to hit Slugma hard, but the magma slug had set up a Protect in anticipation of a powerful Ground move. Larvitar decides to attack now and hits its forgetful opponent with a hard Crunch.

Rotom continues its status-based onslaught on Larvitar, but fails yet again as its Will-O-Wisp missed its target and torched a bit of the grass. Castform tries to abuse the weather and it's new typing by firing off a Flamethrower at Eevee, which hits even though Castform's mildly blinded. Eevee lets off a mighty cry which only causes Castform's lesser used Attack to fall. Gible ensnares Slugma in a whirling sand vortex, Larvitar bites into Rotom again, and Slugma shoots off a heat wave at Gible to finish the action.

Rotom finally is able to status Larvitar with a shot of Toxic. Castform is still blind and nails Eevee with another Flamethrower. Eevee yawns from Castform being so predictable. Gible uses Sandstorm, cancelling out the sun and causing Castform to revert back to its normal form. Larvitar feels pretty gutsy and shoots a dirty look at Rotom. Slugma finishes the round by yawning at how long it took the ref to do this.

God that took forever, anyways, Glacier post actions

"hmm this round was bittersweet, with a bit more bitter than sweet. Let's try this!"

Quicksilver, good job! You did well for the disadvantage. Your opponent is going to sleep so here is what you will do. use protect again, but if he decides to chill then recover some lost HP. After first action he falls asleep, so boost up with curse and fire off another Heat Wave!

Felix, your match isn't going that swell, but lets see if this can help! create 4 clones with Double Team. Now larvitar wont know the right rotom to crunch. then conjure up a dastardly Hex, which will be boosted by the toxic. End the round with another Hex.

Dexter, you are falling asleep! you still have action one to do something before your slumber, so Disable sand attack, so he can't coat you in accuracy losing sand whilst you sleep! next actions you might not be able to attack, but if you can, Sunny Day and Flamethrower, respectively.

Rocky you did well. Start off with a bite onto one of rotoms. Then show him how to bob and weave with a dragon dance. Finally give him a good old crunch.

Gible aka chomp. You should be okay during your nap but we will see first of all tackle his protect to stop him from healing. You are then going to take a nap. If you wake up this round use an earthquake seeing as he is a fire type.

Purrfect let's tail whip him as he disables to lower his guard. Then take advantage of his slumber by giving him the old one-two with two returns.

Let's show him how we did it back in the day.

In the first duel arena, Slugma protects from the imminent Tackle from Gible. Gible fell asleep due to Slugma's Yawn making it a bit drowsy last round. Slugma then says some things that if we had a translator, even South Park wouldn't air them. Gible woke up to shoot Slugma with an Earthquake, and ended up receiving a Heat Wave to the face, which was really hot from the Sun.

Over in the next arena, Castform forced Eevee not to throw any sand while it was asleep by using Disable. Eevee just wagged its tail as if to say "Screw you, I'll do whatever I want". Castform fell asleep because the little bunny's Yawn made it very sleepy. Eevee then bottled its happiness into a powerful Return, which the little cloud shrugged off in its sleep. Castform woke up and ended Gible's long Sandstorm by causing the clouds to part and the sun to shine. Eevee used another Return to cause a bit more damage, but Castform was still ahead in the damage department.

Over on the right, Rotom and Larvitar both stood strong. Rotom suddenly used Double Team to split itself into 5 in an attempt to confuse the Larvitar. Larvitar tried to bite it, but ended up just nabbing a clone. Rotom then began casting powerful Hexes on Larvitar. Larvitar did an ancient dance from the days where Dragons ruled the land (Gen IV for those who didn't know). Rotom casts a second Hex at the Gutsy little Larvitar, who tried to crunch into its bones (Rotom have bones?), but still only hit a clone (this is not the clone you're looking for).

larviter you missed those clones but you can still help out. Start of with a bite into a sandstorm and finish it up with a powerful crunch. Guts should help.
eevee I dont think your being annoying enough. return it, tail whip then use a return. Why did I give you a minus attack nature?:(

"Hmmm things are somewhat even. Can we get ahead?"

Quicksilver, i know you are trying your best, but the odds are just against you. Finish with a bang! Release some Smoke Screen, then go all out with a Super-Nova Melt Down! (Overheat+Overheat combo) after that take a good cooldown buddy. you did well, i'm proud of you!

Felix, your trickery worked! Now time to keep it up. create an Ominous Wind to spook the little thing, then Hex some more! Finally, i reckon he will find by now which rotom is real, so Protect! You are not getting crunched today!

Dexter, I like your duel the best, we can succeed! The sun is still out, so Flamethrower time! Next Release another Flamethrower! Finish with a Rain Dance! its time to change the weather

Rotom caused a shadowy wind to blow over the field, actually hurting Larvitar while causing the rest of the Pokemon to shudder a bit. Larvitar went to bite into the floating plasma, but STILL only hit a clone. Castform fired off a powerful Flamethrower, which got superpowered due to it causing the sun to shine. Eevee used another Return, which still is unable to leave a big dent in Castform. Gible causes an Earthquake which somehow hits Slugma in its weak spot (it tipped some sea salt on it). Slugma was apparently shocked by this, and it burped up a Smokescreen which blinded that entire field.

Rotom cast more black magic on Larvitar, who was beginning to feel a bit queasy from the toxins. Larvitar summoned another sandstorm, causing Castform to change back to its normal forme due to it lacking a sand cloud forme. Castform fired off another Flamethrower at Eevee, but it was considerably weaker due to Castform lacking control over the local weather. Eevee simply wagged its tail at the little cloud, but it knew it was still pretty screwed. Gible used the local sand to trap Slugma in a whirling death trap with Sand Tomb. Slugma knew it was going down, so it decided to go SUPERNOVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and used Supernova Meltdown (Overheat + Overheat) which left a giant dent in Gible.

Rotom protected from Larvitar's attack, and Larvitar finally saw an opening into which Rotom was the real one, due to there only being two remaining, and nailed Rotom's protective barrier. Rotom knew its ruse was blown, so it destroyed its own last clone. Castform decided to rid the area of its sandy weather, and ended up causing a few mudslides by doing a rain dance, and the rain mixed with the sand to make a large amount of mud which took away a few tables, buried the sandbox, and flipped the swing set of the local playground. The change in weather also prompted a change in forme for Castform, who now resembled a rain drop. Eevee used Return again, but Castform still had the advantage of the battle. Gible did nothing due to Slugma having a bit of a meltdown, and starting to cause a bit of fog to form around the area, because when rain gets around 8000 or so degrees, it starts to turn to steam, and steam in large quantities becomes fog.

"Castform is faster than larvitar, so his second flamethrower came out before he started sandstorm. the a2 Flamethrower should have a sun boost."

Quicksilver take a rest buddy! you deserve it.

Felix, Woah! You are getting a tad low on energy! set up 4 more clones with Double team, then chill! Sadly you cant chill twice, so bring on another Ominous Wind!

Dexter, you are a tad low on energy too huh? No matter, first round bring on a 100% accurate Thunder! Then end the little eevee with a Water Gun! if eevee is still standing then Tackle, but if you have won dexter, take a victory Chill.

Somebody's forgetting Dragon Dance, which puts Larvitar at 71.75 Speed, outspeeding Castform at 70.

(Yes, Deck did screw up speed boosting. A Base 52 outspeeds Deoxys at +2)

so gible, offer moral support chill offer moral support. Lets just wait until one of our allies can no longer battle.
Rocky those clones are starting to annoy me. So taunt then use sandstorm and finish it up with a crunch. Lets try to hit the right one okay.
Eevee your probally on borrowed time so I want you to go all out. Start off with a shadow ball, transtition into a return and use a yawn.

Rotom continued to troll Larvitar by creating another 4 clones. Castform fired off a deadly Thunder, leaving Eevee paralyzed and in critical condition. Larvitar tried taunting the little ball of plasma, but ended up only insulting a clone instead. Eevee fired off a dark ball of energy, which Castform shrugged off as much as the rest of Eevee's assault. Gible, no longer with an opponent, simply walked over to the other fields to cheer its teammates on.

Rotom knew Larvitar wasn't touching it any time soon, so he decided to shift a few levels down and chilled. Castform fired off a Water Gun so powerful it may as well have been a Hydro Pump, and essentially powerwashed Eevee until it fainted. Larvitar felt a need to get its team back a bit of momentum, and summoned another sandstorm, which hurt at our height but looked nearly a mile high. Gible took its ref-mandated 1 Chill per round due to the rules, and enjoyed watching sand smack into Glacier's floating duo.

Now, with only Larvitar and Rotom fighting, Rotom summoned a ghastly wind, which seemed all the worse due to the dust, stones, and dirt it was carrying, to hit Larvitar. Larvitar then went back on the offensive with a Crunch, but still only hit a clone.

Also, Gible is now facing Castform

We are now far behind that stupid overpowerd fully evolved castform.
larvitar just spam crunch three times. Hopefully we hit, crit and get a lucky defense drop.
Gible use Outrage mega explosion of pure awesomeness aka Outrage.

"Great job Dexter! Now we have a nice Match up!"

Felix, you are low on energy, But its ok! Larvitar is on a suicide mission! He crunched last round, and now is spamming crunch. can anyone say consecutive move penatly? +4 energy on first crunch, then another +4 second crunch. Larvitar will faint on a2! So, my dear Rotom, all you need to do really is Ominous Wind till he faints

Dexter, now is the time to go crazy! Set up a new weather, Hail, and Pummel him with Two Ice Beams!

Rotom summons another dark gale, which is beginning to take a toll on Larvitar in conjunction with the toxins. Castform decided to cause the final weather change and summoned a hailstorm which just busted the windows of every car in the parking lot. Larvitar ran in to crunch Rotom, but still only hit a clone, leaving it as Rotom and another clone. Gible was ticked that its weather had been changed, so it began to outrage at Castform.

Rotom fired off another Ominous Wind, leaving it near exhaustion. As Larvitar crunched it was stalled out completely and Larvitar fainted from exhaustion. Castform fired off an Ice Beam, which completely KOed Gible.

Glacier wins!
