Hi!!
2v2 Doubles
DQ: 2 days
2 Recovers/5 Chills etc
Arena:

OK, so we've got a pretty bad ass arena with a lava waterfall. It's pretty hot, but it's still cold/the sun is setting/it's cloudy enough to not make it sunny day/boost fire attacks. However, the ocean in the back is dealing with heated water from the lava, so that makes it harder/less practical to use ice attacks with the heat and the density of salt

ionno what pokemon i want to use, i'm leaning towards training baby mons though

I don't believe anyone has accepted this, so I'll take it up.

Switch = non existent
All abilities
No items
And so we've got a doubles match. gk can send out two Pokemon, and for some reason he sent me three so I can't do it for him. Then, deadfox can send out his two, and these will all be the only Pokemon they will have to work with. Good luck guys, and have fun!

Get out there Dreeko and Staba!

EDIT: Pretty sure it's my actions now too..

Ok guys its time for all out attack, none of that cute stuff.

Dreeko I want you to start by aiming your prettiest Signal Beam at the Scraggy! While she's doing that Staba needs to Crunch on the Duskull as hard as he can.

Next up Dreeko should shoot some Scalding hot water at Scraggy, while Staba drops a Rock Slide on both of their heads!

Our final actions will be exactly the same as our first, Signal Beam on Scraggy and Crunch on Duskull.

Summary
Dreeko - Signal Beam (Scraggy) > Scald (Scraggy) > Signal Beam (Scraggy)
Staba - Crunch (Duskull) > Rock Slide (Both) > Crunch (Duskull)

interesting, we might as well keep things simple

Scraggy: It's looking like we'll have to take some legit damage here, but hopefully we can do a little bit to avoid it. Let's begin things by using Drain Punch on Staba. That will give us some passable damage, especially with the Brick Break we'll use on the next action. By finishing off with another Drain Punch against Staba.

Duskull: Let's start things out by using Ominous Wind on Dreeko and Disable Staba's Crunch. That can give us a damage free third action to use Ominous Wind on Dreeko again.

And so I finally remember that I'm supposed to be reffing a triples match between gk and deadfox081 (you could have reminded me on IRC you two). But anyway, we're all here now and we're ready to go. Dreeko the Horsea starts off the match, letting off a Signal Beam out towards Scrafty, and the bright, flashing beam collides with him to set off siezures all across Japan and also to hurt Scrafty (6 Energy, 8 Damage). Then, Scrafty responds with a Drain Punch on Staba, which draws power from Staba through the punch into Scrafty, completely healing it of the damage done last turn, and also hurting Staba (7 Energy, 20 Damage, 10 Healing). Next, Staba just outspeeds Duskull to Crunch down on it with a giant, dark pair of jaws, leaving it surprisingly healthy (6 Energy, 14 Damage). Finally, Duskull himself moves, and summons up an Ominous Wind to swirl around Dreeko, which seems to pain it slightly as it passes, but it does very little overall (4 Energy, 12 Damage).

Next, Dreeko starts off again by firing hot water all over Scraggy, Scalding it and hurting it (5 Energy, 11 Damage). Then, Scraggy moves over to Staba once again and this time moves as if to Brick Break, pounding down on Staba's rocky back hard enough to hurt even through the armour (5 Energy, 20 Damage). Then, Staba throws some rocks up around the area, and the Rock Slide formed by the rocks falling back down again crashes down on both Scraggy and Duskull, but not causing them to lose focus enough to stop attacking (5 Energy, 11 Damage to Duskull, 7 Damage to Scraggy). Once again, Duskull ends up by stopping moving for a bit to concentrate on Staba, and mentally Disables her ability to Crunch down like before (6 Energy).

The beginning of the end of the round once again is Dreeko, who lets off another Signal Beam out over at Scraggy, once more surrounding it with the disorienting wave of light, but still not managing to confuse it (6 Energy, 8 Damage). Then, Scraggy lets off another Drain Punch at Staba, healing itself of a lot of damage from Dreeko's attacks and leaving Staba in a very sorry state after continued beatings this round (5 Energy, 20 Damage, 10 Healing). Then, Staba tries to Crunch down once more on Duskull, but finds that it can't quite remember how to actually do the move, and just sits there for a while, looking confused. Duskull takes advantage of this respite to surround Dreeko with another Ominous Wind, which hurts it as before and leaves the round over (4 Energy, 12 Damage). It all looks quite even, so the next round could be a crucial one. It is up to GoldenKnight to issue instructions.

We can work with this

Scraggy: Alright, Staba can only take two more hits from us, so use Drain Punch followed up with a Brick Break to finish him off. If he's still standing for some reason, hit him with another Brick Break. If Dreeko is the only target by the third action, hit it with Drain Punch.

Duskull: Good job hanging in, we'll just have to stay alive for a bit. Since Staba is gonna get taken care if shortly, we'll continue to focus on Dreeko. We'll start out by using Ominous Wind, the damage may not be the best, but psychic would cost more for no added damage! After that, we'll abuse knock out of Staba to use Trick Room and give us the speed advantage for the rest of the battle. Finish up with one more Ominous Wind

I think we may be in some trouble for this one guys...

Staba, you're probably only going to be around for one more action so make it count with your best Rock Slide at the Duskull. If you somehow survive to dish out more than one hit then just keepon doing the same thing.

Dreeko I think we will need some burn hax to get out of this, so fire off a Scald then a Signal Beam then another Scald all at the Scraggy

And so we come to the second round of the battle between gk and deadfox081. The round starts off with Dreeko, who once again fires off a jet of burning water to Scald Scraggy, trying to burn it with the searing water but once again failing to do mich lasting damage (5 Energy, 11 Damage). Then, Scraggy moves, jumping up after being soaked to take revenge on Staba. It delivers yet another Drain Punch into Staba, draining ever more health out of it and sapping it to dangerously low health (7 Energy, 20 Damage, 10 Health Restored). After him, Staba himself throws another series of rocks up into the air around his opponents, and directs the resultant Rock Slide using a weird power down onto Scraggy and Duskull, knocking them around a lot (5 Energy, 11 Damage to Duskull, 7 Damage to Scraggy). Finally, Duskull himself moves, letting out an Ominous Wind around the arena, which moves around Dreeko and envelopes him, apparently hurting him, but it is hard to see in the cloud (4 Energy, 12 Damage).

Then, Dreeko surrounds Scraggy with another Signal Beam, the bright flashing beam around him hurting him reasonably badly, but leaving him still relatively well off (6 Energy, 8 Damage). Then, Scraggy moves over to Staba, ready to deliver a death blow after the long battle. It delivers a devastating Brick Break attack again, and finally this leaves Staba too pained to continue, and he passes out on the side, unable to battle (5 Energy, 20 Damage). This leaves Scraggy and Duskull together up against Dreeko, and Dreeko looks like it is in a lot of trouble. Anyway, Duskull now moves up and constructs a strange Trick Room around all of the remaining contestants, leaving them all in a strange space where slower Pokemon will move first (10 Energy).

Then, Duskull, able to move a lot faster because of the distorted dimensions in the Trick Room, jumps up again and immediately lets off another Ominous Wind at Dreeko, hurting it once more (4 Energy, 12 Damage). Then, Scraggy delivers another Drain Punch, this time at Dreeko, and doing a number to beat it down ever closer to joining Staba in the dust (7 Energy, 14 Damage, 7 Healing). Finally, Dreeko gets the chance to attack back, trying once more to Scald Scraggy with torrents of water, but once again it fails to burn, just doing damage (5 Energy, 11 Damage). This leaves the round over, and the score 2-1 to gk. Off you go, guys!

Ok Dreeko, I know you're in trouble here but just give it your best! You should start by getting pumped up and then throw your strongest attack at the weakest opponent.

ok, let's finish this up simply

Scraggy: Use Drain Punch to Brick Break to Drain Punch, this alone should end the battle :p

Duskull: Just spam Ominous Wind, there isn't a need to do anything else

And so we come to the final round of the battle between gk and deadfox081. It has come down to Scraggy and Duskull up against Dreeko, and thanks to the Trick Room from last round gk's team get to start off the round. It begins with Duskull, who lets off yet another Ominous Wind at Dreeko to just keep adding to the damage, this time knocking it enough to almost knock it out, and in fact the blow is a critical hit, adding just enough damage to enable Scraggy to potentially finish it (4 Energy, 15 Damage). Then, Scraggy moves up and delivers another Drain Punch, draining Dreeko;s energy through its fist and knocking it out completely thanks to the huge beating it has suffered over the last few rounds (7 Energy, 13 Damage, 7 Healing). This leaves both of deadfox's Pokemon unable to battle, so GoldenKnight Wins! gg and wp to everyone, especially gk, and I hope you had fun! Just so you don't have to go through the thread and find them, I can tell you that the only Pokemon to get KO counters is Scraggy, who gets two. Well done everyone!
