Overview
########

+Impressive attack stat for LC, especially on a Pokemon with such a great move pool.
+Unique typing of Ghost/Ground
+Immune to Electric, Normal, and Fighting-type moves.
+Sets Stealth Rocks and blocks Rapid Spin.
+A setter that is useful even after setting up Stealth Rocks
-Despite a high HP stat, low Defense and Special Defense stats.
-Slow as molasses. I think that's a thing.
-No physical Ghost STAB since Shadow Punch is illegal.
-Several glaring weaknesses: Dark, Ghost are pretty common.

Iron Fist”er”
########
name: Iron Fist"er"
move 1: Drain Punch
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Stealth Rock
move 4: Ice Punch / Fire Punch / Thunder Punch
ability: Iron Fist
item: Eviolite
evs: 44 HP / 164 Atk / 196 Def / 36 SpD
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

- Drain Punch is a reliable source of damage as well as Golett's best chance of recovery.
- Earthquake provides a STAB move that also has a powerful base damage.
- Stealth Rock can be important on a team weak to Flying-types or Fire-types, and is considered to be a really useful move to have.
- Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, and Ice Punch cannot be accessed at the same time, due to in game mechanics. Therefore, it is necessary to decide which one best fits the team the Golett will be on, in order to cover all necessary typings.

Set Details
========

- 164 Attack gives the perfect amount of Evs to always OHKO certain pokemon, like Pawniard and Murkrow, after Stealth Rock damage.
- 44 Health Points and 196 Defense gives Golett better chances of surviving some of the bigger physical threats in the tier.
- Eviolite increases defenses, however, people occasionally run Berry Juice.
- Adamant increases your Attack even more, at the expense of your Special Attack.
- Iron Fist increases the power of all of these moves by 1.2 times, with the exception of Earthquake and obviously Stealth Rock.

Usage Tips
========

- When in doubt, Earthquake is Golett’s largest source of damage. Always resort to that as a last option.
- If your team doesn’t already having a Pokemon running Stealth Rocks, run it. It’s amazingly useful.
- Don’t start think that you might outspeed anything.

Team Options
========

- Normal-types are immune to the threat of Ghost-types.
- Pawniard is a good Defog counter. Since Golett blocks spin, the only other means of removing the Rocks is Defog, which Pawniard would love to have hit him.
- Fighting-types that can tank a Knock Off and deal with Ghosts, like Mienfoo, Timburr, and Scraggy.

Other Options
########

- Golett has access to several, good special attacks, just a really bad Special Attack stat.
- Golett can learn Superpower, which is a heavy damage dealing move.
- Golett can learn Thief, so a set with Berry Juice and Thief could be similar to Murcorw's SubThief set.

Checks & Counters
########

**Knock Off**: Knock Off is super effective against Golett and it removes its item, which could prove to be fatal.

**Ghost-Types**: Since they have SE hits on Golett and Golett has no means of retaliation, it will surely burn and die.

**Defog**: Not an actual counter, but just checking Golett’s Stealth Rocks. Golett cannot block Defog, so it can only just watch the Stealth Rocks fly away.
