ISSUING A 3K CHALLENGE
Yeah, I have no clue how I've reffed my way from 2k to 3k in three months but okay. Everybody in ASB is great ^_^ This is my first ever melee, so there really is no better way to celebrate by issuing a huge melee. Don't kill me please. Also, I'm setting all the rules in advance to the simplest ones possible.

2v2v2v2v2v2 Singles Melee
Send 2 Pokemon to Ref.
2 Day DQ; 4 Days for Ref
One Ability
Switch = KO
Items Off
Infinite Recoveries/Chills

Arena: The Roulette Wheel
Remember in February when all the arenas were based on probabilities that this or that would happen? Well, the roulette wheel is bringing it all back. Players will post actions normally in this arena with one exception: they must include a whole number from 1-40, inclusive, at the end of their actions. This number cannot have been chosen by a previous poster for the current round. At the end of each round, the ref will roll the RNG for a number from 1-40. The trainer who chose a number closest to the RNG'd number will suffer from gambling addiction. This means that all attacks directed at the trainer's Pokemon will have +1 BAP due to the trainer's carelessness in gambling, but all attacks used by this Pokemon will have +2 BAP due to the trainer's happiness in earning money.

Round 1: how old is enginig pikachu now

He's 2 right

Anyway, happy birthday engineer hope you lose.

Oh wait...

Here we are, at the Roulette Wheel. What a shitty arena. I like coconuts.

Apparently there's this Hydreigon called Teresa who's wearing this black dress is she a witch or something i hope not i hate witches hope they burn in hell. Anyway, I guess she likes to Taunt kits like Yoshitsune about how much they suck and how weak they are. Well, Fire Blast is a weak trainer so I can see why that happened. Tsuki couldn't agree more and wins the kitty Speed tie with her sheer awesomeness. However, her awesomeness went a bit over the top and as Tsuki attempted to have a catfight with Yoshitsune she accidentally the whole thing. Instead of hitting the male cat, she striked the shadows! Engineer, I implore you to buy a new move - ShadowStrike does not hit Pokemon, only shadows. Please try again. Well, little YoSHITsune is apparently having a bad hair day and would rather try to comb his hair with ghostly air then try to Will-O-Wisp big girl Teresa. Just sitting out in the shadows of the arena, Reginald constructs additional pylons a shoddy Substitute made of shed shrimp skin. Ew! It actually has some of Reginald's life in it! Well, Hitenryu couldn't give a damn about what Reginald's doing and flicks his match on. He breaths in the flames of hell and shoots a Fire Blast at Yoshitsune! The strike hits and incinerates parts of Yoshitsune's skulls... and both Teresa and Tsuki applaud Hitenryu for his sexy effort. Maybe they'll go out with him tonight? Oh, and Nestor, who the hell is he? Apparently he was slacking off like the Slowking he is behind Reginald... smoking some weed. Hmph! What's he doing? It looks like he's using his weed as a Grass Knot to trip Reginald's Substitute with! According to the Data Audit, Reginald will take a measly 5 BASE ATTACK POWER from the attack. He's a shrimp after all!

Now Teresa goes onto the offensive against the evil Yoshitsune and conjures an incredible Earth Power right under him! Blast! Blast! Fire Blast is getting his butt blasted! Yaaay! And while that happened, Tsuki was figuring out ways to cheat the speed tie system - well she did and goes second once again! She leaps over the earthen rumbles and leftover flames and slashes at Yoshitsune with a sharp Shadow Claw through THE FACE! The mask on Yoshitsune almost shatters, but keeps in tact... darn, I wanted to see his face. :( Yoshitsune shakes the weak attack off and leaps onto... nothing for a Meteor Miss! Great job Yoshitsune! On the back, Reginald's having a field day with Nestor apparently. At a snap of a finger, a flashing Thunderbolt is made from the hidden Reginald, which electrifies Nestor with kilowatts 949654695496549695454. Hitenryu decides to tag along Reginald and leaps at Nestor for an attack! SMACK! A ThunderPunch is dealt to the face and Nestor's head is slugged to the left, with saliva on the loose. Being the pimp he is though, tough Nestor recovers easily from the attack and very slowly uses another trippy Grass Knot on Reginald. It won't give Reginald a real trip, but it does indeed break his terribly-constructed Substitute!

Fuck yeah seaking. Oh yeah, roulette. Okay, well, I the ref has rolled the wheel of fortune and got the number 7. That's right. Lucky number 7, fools! Oh wait, what does this mean? Glacier Knight picked 13 and Athenodoros picked 1 and both are 6 away from 7... so I guess that means BOTH WIN! Too bad, Fire Blast, DarkSlay, Dogfish44, and Engineer Pikachu, YOU'RE ALL LOSERS!

I hope my fellow Yoshitsune smashers (DarkSlay, dogfish44) will join me in this heroic venture.

ShadowStrike (Yoshitsune) - Shadow Claw (Yoshitsune)

If you're not Yoshitsune, disabling or tormenting me does nothing to help you, but I'm paranoid, so...

IF (Nestor targets you at all) THEN (Use ShadowStrike (Nestor) - Lick (Nestor) as your actions, overriding the below substitution)
IF (Reginald targets you at all) THEN (Use ShadowStrike (Reginald) - Lick (Reginald) as your actions)

Let's go with number 40 this time!

this above is the prize claim that says krillo also has rain dance (its not in his added moves so i guess i forgot to add it, and i wanted to show prove so people wouldnt think i was a dirty cheater glacier)

anyway back to the match!

"Reginald you're doing just fine! keep it up pal!"

Well since we've started this mini duel with nestor we cant stop now. keep up the assault! Release another shocking Thunderbolt aimed at Nestor. if he disables thunderbolt however use Signal Beam instead. after that lock onto nestor so that your Thunder wont miss!

ThunderBolt Nestor (if nestor disables thunderbolt use Signal Beam)~Thunder Nestor

also, time for another number! lets go with um...... 2

Fake Out: The Pokémon strikes the opponent with immense swiftness using their hands/paws, creating a shockwave of air that pushes the opponent back, causing them to flinch. After its initial use, Fake Out fails to flinch the same Pokemon twice, but can still be used in succession. Fake Out is the fastest priority attack, beating out even ExtremeSpeed.

Attack Power: 4 | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 4 | Attack Type: Physical | Effect Chance: -- | Typing: Normal | Priority: 3 | CT: Set
Perish Song: The Pokemon lets out a horrible shriek that envelops the entire field. At the end of three (3) rounds, any Pokemon that hears Perish Song will faint. The haunting shriek can even echo through caves and other places. The effect is removed on that Pokemon if the Pokemon switches. This move strikes all Pokemon on the field, including the user.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 15 | Attack Type: Other | Effect Chance: -- | Typing: Normal | Priority: -1 | CT: Passive
Often in martial outs, attackers yell when they strike. I think Kitsunoh would pull this off with a Fake Out + Perish Song combo (Krillowatt)

If that combo will not work, try a Sucker Punch + Perish Song combo (Engineer's Kitsunoh)

If neither combos work, then Dig twice on Kitsunoh.

...yeah, that combo shouldn't work. For obvious reasons. Anyways, let's punish the ghost cat for even thinking that would work. :|

Dig (Yoshitsune) -> Dig (Yoshitsune)

IF (
For some damn reason that combo does actually work), THEN (replace your actions with Fire Blast (Yoshitsune) -> Fire Blast (Yoshitsune))

IF
(Yoshitsune has fainted), THEN (change your last action to Nasty Plot)

I'd allow blasts combo if it was a roar or a howl... but a Perish Song? Nope!

I think an Earth Power (Yoshitsune) should allow everyone else to KO Yoshitsune, even at the expense of us getting the KOC next action. I think that this would probably be a good time to CRUNCH (Nestor) and give our comrade Glacier a hand.

Yep, that tasted purple!

Round 2: this is serious business

Let's continue smashing Yoshitsune! Oh... and that slacker...

Oddly enough, the slowest one begins the round! Who's that, you say? It's Nestor, who Bides like a crippled gangster in the hospital, though I honestly don't think it'll be effective since cool Reginald has Detect anyway! Teresa ignores the useless shellman's intentions for now and locks onto Yoshitsune with cruel, mean eyes. With her power comes an incredible force of Earth Power, spraying Yoshitsune with corrosive lava! Tsuki lunges from behind at the lava-soaked Yoshitsune after the eruption and strikes with a powerful shadow. A hollow wound can visibly be seen upon the weakened Yoshitsune - it's as red as blood. Guess that means his Defense has dropped! Disappointed on the uneven "match-up", Yoshitsune hastily burrows himself into the arena's ground, never to be heard of again (or everyone would hope so). Reginald had no intention of striking the severely weakened Yoshitsune though and instead absorbs some electric around him and fires a Thunderbolt at Nestor! The shellman's exo-skeleton can be seen periodically from seconds to minutes... and he's left burning in electrical fury! Hitenryu decides to Dig into the ground like Yoshitsune - perhaps he can get a hit in that Reginald wouldn't have gotten. Seconds later, Yoshitsune appears right under Tsuki and smashes the female kitty with a ferocious Dig attack, causing her to scream in agony! Afterward, a second sound of unburrowing can be heard - it's Hitenryu to the rescue! He slams his fiery head into the metallic cat in the form of a Dig attack, which ultimately causes the kitty to meow and slam onto the ground, fainted. League of Yoshitsune smashers - your duty here is done.

Well, until you get a new duty that is. The silly racoon Nestor holds his place and continues to bide for the worst. You know at that time 400 Zerglings can easily surround you, right? Bad idea, Athenodoros! From the sky comes a nightmarish dark dragon - Teresa! With the force of a bomb, she dives in and delivers a Crunching blow onto Nestor. Gotta say, Nestor might be pretty delicious to eat! As for Tsuki, well, silly Engineer Pikachu didn't give her any other order other than to hurt Yoshitsune... so I guess Tsuki will continue to cut Yoshitsune's fainted body until then! More ghostly blood oozes out of Yoshitsune as a result of the senile Shadow Claw (no energy btw), making Tsuki all the more happier. Reginald applauds Teresa for the help with Nestor and delivers the finishing blow in the form of Thunder! A sad cloud arrives over the scene and a bolt of lightning crackles across the sky, striking Nestor with so much electrical charges he faints! Happy that the slowmon fainted, Reginald smiles at the sad cloud which now turns into a happy cloud... that explodes for no particular reason. That might have been in Hitenryu's Nasty Plot!

Who will you guys smash next? WHO? Maybe smashlloyd20 i heard he's pretty smashable.
