That's hilarious. They should just teach parents the awful things they are giving their children

The main problem seems to be lunch if I know correctly. Children often bring unhelathy food for lunch to school, and the school does worse.

Free healthy lunch at school without children allowed bringing their own would make things alot better.

Banning pupils from bringing their own food is a dick move. It gets the school extra money and removes any incentive for it to provide high-quality or good value lunches.

It works in Finland. The food is relatively healthy (composed of salad, protein and canvas), and generally quite high quality (Sometimes smoked salmon and on national days pastries). You also get vegetable choice.

All free. It only costs about 70 cents to the government. And some of the money needed can easily be gotten by taking money from the health services that aren't so much needed anymore, and some from military. And millionaire tax (or quartermillionairetax) could give some money in too.
