Today is Wear-Your-Pokemon-Colours day! And so Frosty marches out onto the bubbling cauldron wearing the colours of an alpine tree. On the opposite side of this... chemical factory?? Well anyways rickheg saunters forward like the brat he usually is. Overhead, a Nargacuga glides, occasionally eying the Unowns with interest. "Hmm, wonder how it'll taste?"

And so it begins!

Lombre [Odolwa] (M)
Nature: Quiet (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks)
Typing: Water/Grass
Water: Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious.
Grass: Grass STAB; Immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming “powder” attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.

Abilities:
Swift Swim: (Innate) The Pokemon with this ability moves extremely fast in slick, rainy conditions, doubling (x2) its speed in the rain.
Rain Dish: (Innate) This Pokemon collects water in the rain and absorbs it into its body, healing two (2) HP/action.
Own Tempo (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon moves at its own pace and when confused, it will never harm itself in confusion. If the Pokemon also has Tangled Feet, it will raise Accuracy by one (1) Stage.

Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Giant Enemy Crab; Iron Head > Unown F (Flare Blitz) > Iron Head, all at Blizzeta
IF Unown F is not available, use Iron Head that action.
IF Blizzeta successfully uses Protective/Evasive, redirect to Odolwa that action

Rosalina; Will-O-Wisp > Hex > Hex, all at Blizzeta
IF Blizzeta successfully uses Protective/Evasive, redirect to Odolwa that action

Also, Giant Enemy Crab gets my Exp. Share, Rosalina gets my Amulet Coin.

Blizzeta/Snover: ACTIVATE SNOW WARNING!
COMBO (Blizzard + Sheer Cold) at Necturine - cooldown (COMBO (Blizzard + Sheer Cold) at Necturine) - Ice Beam (Necturine)
IF the Combo doesn't work, replace it with Blizzard + Blizzard.

Odolwa/Lombre: Fake Out (Beldum) - Unown F (Fire Blast) at Necturine - Hydro Pump (Beldum)

Yep, rick, each battler is allowed one Unown per round. Since it doesn't specify Trainers, it'll probably be okay to allow one Unown per mon per round.

Arena: Unown Soup (used letters will be placed here)

Rickheg’s pants keep dropping, so he got himself a new pair of denim overalls instead – his impertinent concession to the match’s Wear-Your-Pokemon-Colours theme. Frosty, however, had bigger things to think about, as Blizzeta-Snover starts a hailstorm with her Snow Warning ability as soon as her form materializes out of the Pokeball! (“Better move faster in case the icicles cover my wings.”) Almost at the same time, Odolwa-Lombre rushes in and Fakes Out the lumbering metal claw that is Giant Enemy Crab-Beldum, rendering the alien metallic Pokemon stunned by Odolwa-Lombre’s swift action. Recognizing the perpetrator of the painful hail, Rosalina-Necturine decides to warm Blizzeta-Snover up with a small Will-O-Wisp, and succeeds… in burning the walking pine tree instead. (“No, not the trainer – the Pokemon, dufus!”) Angered at being given her worst inimical element, Blizzeta-Snover summons a subzero-temperature Blizzard so cold, that it almost blown her opponents off the cauldron! The ref had to intervene by snatching both the shady bloom and the crab claw back in order to continue the match… ("Damned, that crabhammer is heavy. Maybe an Unown-P after this is over, for Protein.")

Undaunted, Rosalina-Necturine proceeds to exacerbate Blizzeta-Snover’s burns with horrendous Hexxing powers (“Never knew that small bud is such a sadist.”) Odolwa-Lombre, in his haste to help his teammate, snatched the Unown-F from the soup (which disrupted GEC-Beldum’s plans) and tried to Fire Blast Rosalina-Necturine, but missed by a hair in his haste. But thinking enemies always come prepared – GEC-Beldum simply rears up and smashed Blizzeta-Snover with its Iron Head.

Blizzeta-Snover, having recovered from the heavy onslaught given and taken (“Twice by Rosalina-Necturine’s Hex, in fact.”), proceeds to try and end Rosalina-Necturine with an Ice Beam, but it's simply not powerful enough... And the seed/bud remains as tall as she can with her puniness. Odolwa-Lombre, unaware of the fact that he still has opponents left, not one, Pumps Hydrogen Dioxide at Beldum, who simply pushes through the flow and Ironed Blizzeta-Snover with its Head this time. And as the intense hailstorm keeps on battering, most of the combatants are looking severely worn……

Frosty corrects my mistakes and orders
Rickheg corrects my mistakes and orders

EDIT: Blizzard is a spread move, so the combo will have to hit both opponents, Frosty. Fixed the damage taken by Necturine and Beldum. AFAIK what with the 0.75 multiplier from spread moves and Necturine's Anticipation, that'll be the only stuff that needs fixing.

Frosty

since you asked for corrections:

A) I only targetted only necturine with the combo. Since blizzard hits "up to 3 adjacent pokemon" it can hit less than one. If you don't think that way the bp needs to be multiplied by 0.75 since it is a spread move.

B) necturine's anticipation reduces bp of super effectove attacks by 2.

Since all that together prolly means necturine is still alive, i will post my orders only after this is fixed, k? Tks.

Pretty Nice flavor btw :D.

Actually, I think it would automatically target both, since that happens with Blizzard (many a time I've tried to pick a single target with Rock Slide to no avail), but yeah, the power gets reduced to 75% for each one, Frosty is correct that anticipation would reduce the power of SE moves by 2.

I thought I posted the actions, but oh well.

Snover: Unown (e)ndure - Blizzard - Blizzard
IF Unown E is used by then, replace it with Blizzard

Lombre: Scald - Hydro Pump - Scald all at Beldum
IF Snover is KO'd THEN Surf all actions.

Alright, let's get nasty.

Rosalina; Unown S (Snatch) (Snover) > Shadow Ball (Snover) > Power Whip (Lombre)

Giant Enemy Crab; Iron Head (Snover) > Unown C (Cross Poison) (Lombre) > Zen Headbutt
IF I can only use 1 Unown this round, Beldum will use Headbutt (Lombre) A2 instead.

I looked back and saw that Lombre did extra 1 point of damage to Beldum due to my stat mess-ups (4.5-4.5 not 4.5-3). Also I screwed up the percentage chance of critical hits, but luckily the end results are the same. Anyway it’s fixed, and I’m sorry again guys. By the way, rickheg, you didn’t specify Beldum’s target with A3 Zen Headbutt, but since Snover is KO’ed at A2 anyway (oops sorry for the spoiler Frosty), I’m allowing it to target Lombre.

EDIT: Fuck, Endure really is un-Snatchable. Strike everything below this line until I've re-reffed.
EDIT2 : Done, and done. Had to re-RNG everything, so screw that Endure-Snatch mishap.

So Nargacuga looks on, impressed, as Roselina-Necturine executes a brilliant Snatch Steal - until it realises that the tactic produces no results ("For Fatalis's sake...") Blizzeta-Snover, unperturbed, braces itself to Endure the upcoming hits, causing snowflakes to drift upwards, tinged in the sap from its burns. Odolwa-Lombre tries to corrode the alien metal with Scalding water, and apparently it works, just like it does to any regular ferrum! Eroded and furious, GEC-Beldum simply bashes Iron Head with Pinecone Face, attempting to take down Blizzeta-Snover just to spite Odolwa-Lombre.

Taking the opening, Roselina-Necturine fires a Shadowy Cannon Ball at Blizzeta-Snover, but it failed to knockout the bracing tree. Instead, Blizzeta-Snover rolled with the hit, and after Odolwa-Lombre fires off a distracting Hydro Pump, knocking out Roselina-Necturine instead with extra bonus against GEC Beldum with Blizzard before succumbing to the burns. ("Making me flying twice to take'em to Nurse Joy is what she did. Hmph") GEC-Beldum attempts to try a different tactic, aiming to Cross some Poison into Odolwa-Beldum, but luck doesn't hold to it - its burns mean Odolwa-Lombre is barely minding the damage received.

And now we've come down to a standoff between a red-extremities amphibian and a one-appendage crustacean. Surf versus Zen Headbutt, and its obvious GEC-Beldum comes out worse for wear in the exchange... Will rickheg manage the impossible comeback?

Endure is listed as "not affected by Snatch" (see at the right column under the pic). I can't see any reason for it to be any different in CAP ASB.

But that is me.

Necturine was the last to hit Snover AND is responsible for the burn that KO'd it, so yeah, she gets a KOC, me thinks.
