Sableye (Garnet) (M)
Nature: Sassy(Special Defense raised by *; Speed lowered by 15%, Evasion reduced by a flat 10%)
Type: Dark/Ghost
Dark: Dark STAB; Immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.
Ghost: Ghost STAB; brief intangibility that nullifies Normal and Fighting-type attacks. Can move through walls for a brief period of time but must remain in motion. Superior senses in low light and inside dark buildings. Have no vision reduction in hazes.

Abilities:
Keen Eye: (Innate) This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.
Stall: (Innate) This Pokemon has a watchful eye and immense patience. It can be ordered to attack last on any action regardless of ordinary attack priority. If an opponent orders their Pokemon to attack after Sableye, that attack will fail. Against another Sableye, the trainer who issues attacks first has precedence and the opponent's attack will fail.
Prankster (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.

Serperior (Franziska) Female
Nature: Serious
Type: Grass
Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.

Abilities:
Overgrow: (Innate) When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any grass attack is increased by two (2). (eg Giga Drain goes from 8 to 10, Solarbeam from 12 to 14)
Contrary (DW ability- UNLOCKED): (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon's unique structure reverses stat changes it receives in battle, both from its attacks and the opponents. At the end of the round, stat changes will still increase/decrease toward 0.

I forget about this forever ref.

Dude, you forgot to ref something, that's it. Don't be so hard on yourself, it happens to all of us

All right now! Frenziska, take this Rare Candy and hang in there. I think we're in for a long battle...

(Contrary GOGOGOGO) Leaf Storm -> Energy Ball -> Leaf Storm
If Metal Burst, change that action to Leech Seed the first time, Glare the second time, and Chill the third, pushing back each time
If Fake Out A1 or A3, push actions back

In b4 Stall and Prankster shenanigans fuck me up...

Is that what's happening? I assumed it was a gag... :pirate:

Anyway, let's see what we can do with our limited options.

Sucker Punch > Toxic > Sucker Punch
We'll mess with you later.

Round One
Sableye launched a Surprise Attack from the shadows, causing Serperior's Storm of Leaves to miss. Sableye threw up, Badly Poisoning Serperior, who shot a ball of energy at Sableye. Sableye launched another not-so-Surprise Attack, with Serperior expecting it, and blasting Sableye with a Storm of Leaves.

Something seems off here. But it isn't the calcs... Although I'm not positive the "drop" would still occur if the attack misses.

Shadow Ball > Recover > Shadow Ball
IF damaging grass move, use Metal Burst and push back
IF leech seed, Taunt and push back

EDIT: Confirmed on IRC, Serperior would not have gotten the +2 from A1 since the attack missed. This means 7 more health for Sableye, and Serperior is at +2 SpA at the end of the round.

I beg to differ:
DAT said:
Leaf Storm: Several parts of the Pokemon's body start to glow as it charges up. The Pokemon then launches a huge cyclone of wind and razor-sharp leaves at the foe. The attack is so exhausting that it lowers the user's Special Attack stat by two (2) stages. This Special Attack drop happens even if the move misses.
If this changes your actions at all Rick, just say so

Actually, another mistake was made in the reffing. Since Garnet has a -Spe nature, Leaf Storm has 100% accuracy, not 90, which leaves Garnet with a lot less HP than it has now.

Huh. Guess we're not in for a long battle at all. Franziska, do what you do best and win this match!

Taunt -> Hidden Power -> Leaf Storm

GG Rick, and thanks for reffing someoneelse!
