Nidoran♂ [Priam] (♂)

Nature: Naive (-SpD, +Spe)

Type: Poison
Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.

Abilities:
Poison Point: (Can be disabled) This Pokemon’s spikes/quills/thorns are coated in poison, and there is a 30% chance of poisoning any foe that uses a contact attack on this Pokemon. When disabled, all of this Pokemon's attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison (with the same chance of effect).
Rivalry: (Innate) This Pokemon has a primal response to competition and mating, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the same gender in the same Egg Group, and decreasing the power of all its attacks by two (2) when it faces an opponent of the opposite gender in the same Egg Group (Monster/Ground).
Hustle (DW): (Can be enabled) This Pokemon puts immense force and speed in its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal.

Storm Drain: [DW LOCKED] (Innate) This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

"Hmm. We come to a bit of a dilemma here. Glow is clearly the far better match up, but Stuck really needs to get a battle in so she can be Storm Dranin' it up in Raids some time soon. Sorry little Lileep, you might have to take one for the team here."

Rock Slide > Ingrain > Energy Ball
IF
Ice Beam or Sludge Bomb THEN Mirror Coat and push actions back

Well now, it appears that a Lileep is quite possibly going to get got. How unfortunate.

As a side note, Priam has a 12% increase in accuracy from his nature.

Pre-round stats:

Priam
HP: 90
EN: 100

Stuck
HP: 100
EN: 100

Hmmm. Quite. Hmmm. Gentlemanly stuff.
Action 1
Priam dug underground! (10 EN)

Rock Slide -> Priam (5 EN)
The attack missed!

Dig -> Stuck
RNG roll (to crit, 1/16 crit) 2 = no crit
(8+(2-3)1.5) = 6.5 DMG

Action 2
Head Smash -> Stuck (9 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 5 = no crit
(13-1.5) = 11.5 DMG = 5.75 recoil

Stuck used Ingrain! (8 EN)
Stuck became stuck!

Ingrain -> Stuck (+3 HP)

Action 3
Priam dug underground! (10 EN)

Energy Ball -> Priam (5 EN)
The attack missed!

Dig -> Stuck
RNG roll (to crit) 14 = no crit
(8-1.5) = 6.5 DMG

Ingrain -> Stuck (+3 HP)

As we begin our match, Stuck bangs her head against the wall, sending a giant column of rocks down on Priam... who already went underground! What's this?! It appears that Priam has come up, but the attack actually didn't deal that much damage!

Needing to get a bit hit off, Priam encases his head in an energy field and stampedes right into Stuck, dealing massive damage, but it appears that Priam has taken a little damage in return! Needing to restore HP, Stuck planted his roots, making her even more stuck than she already is with her Suction Cups!

Sensing a large attack coming, Priam digs down once again, narrowly missing the oncoming Energy Ball! Priam came back up underground again, but it appears that the energy output is a lot greater than the damage output!

What will become of this matchup? Will Ice-eyes be able to overcome the threat of Mirror Coat?

Post-round stats:

Priam
HP: 84
EN: 71

Stuck
HP: 81
EN: 82
Ingrain (4a)

Ice-eyes

Simper Fi
Sludge Bomb --> Ice Beam --> Sludge Bomb

If it uses Mirror Coat, Double Kick and push back actions.
If it uses Confuse Ray, Dig and push back actions.

"I'm somewhat tempted to try and hax my way out of this, but in reality we were boned from the start (get it, the fossil Pokemon was boned!). Go out fighting little rock plant thingy."

Rock Slide > Energy Ball > Rock Slide

Quite a gentlemanly statement god sir. Quite.

Pre-round stats:

Priam
HP: 84
EN: 71

Stuck
HP: 81
EN: 82
Ingrain (4a)

Quite is the best word ever.
Action 1
Sludge Bomb -> Stuck (6 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 15 = no crit
RNG roll (to poison, <=30 poison) 2 = poison
(9+3+(2-2)1.5) = 12 DMG
Stuck was poisoned!

Rock Slide -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to hit, <=90 hit) 42 = hit
RNG roll (to crit) 7 = no crit
(8+3+(2-2)1.5) = 11 DMG

Ingrain/Poison -> Stuck (+1 HP)

Action 2
Ice Beam -> Stuck (7 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 4 = no crit
RNG roll (to freeze, <=10 freeze) 60 = no freeze
(10)(1.5) = 15 DMG

Energy Ball -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 7 = no crit
RNG roll (to lower SpD, <=10 lower) 51 = no lower
(8+3+(4-1)1.5)(.67) = 10.385 DMG

Ingrain/Poison -> Stuck (+1 HP)

Action 3
Sludge Bomb -> Stuck (6 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 3 = no crit
(9+3) = 12 DMG

Rock Slide -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to hit, <=90 hit) 33 = hit
RNG roll (to crit) 14 = no crit
(8+3) = 11 DMG

Ingrain/Poison -> Stuck (+1 HP)

Finally able to avoid Mirror Coat's antics, Priam gargles up a ton of sludge and spits it at Stuck, and it explodes on contact! It also appears that Stuck seems to have swallowed a bit, as she's now poisoned! Luckily for her, Ingrain is keeping her from losing HP, but Priam still just gained a giant advantage!

Priam then leaps back and spits out a giant beam of ice, striking Stuck for super-effective damage, and knocking her around (remember the Suction Cups folks)! Finally, with her balance regained, Stuck fires off a ball of nature's energy, which does quite a bit of damage to Priam, even though its not very effective!

Sticking with what he knows will work, Priam spits out another bomb of sludge, striking Stuck yet again! It seems Stuck has the same idea, as she calls down another pillar of rocks to strike Priam, dealing quite some damage once again!

Post-round stats:

Priam
HP: 52
EN: 59

Stuck
HP: 45
EN: 72
Ingrain (1a)
Poisoned (2 DPA)

"Well, the standing are giving us a little more credit than we have earned here. It doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought. Keep plugging away Stuck."

Energy Ball > Rock Slide > Energy Ball
IF
Ice Beam THEN Mirror Coat
IF Dig THEN Chill, Ingrain, Chill depending on the number of uses

Goddamnit I'm late again... This week's hell already -.-

Post-round stats:

Priam
HP: 52
EN: 59

Stuck
HP: 45
EN: 72
Ingrain (1a)
Poisoned (2 DPA)

Just get this over with...
Action 1
Sludge Bomb -> Stuck (6 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 4 = no crit
(9+3) = 12 DMG

Energy Ball -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 16 = no crit
RNG roll (to lower SpD, <=10 lower) 15 = no lower
(8+3+(4-1)1.5)(.67) = 10.385 DMG

Ingrain/Poison -> Stuck (+1 HP)

Action 2
Rock Slide -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to hit) 79 = hit
RNG roll (to crit) 10 = no crit
(8+3) = 11 DMG

Counter -> Stuck (10 EN)
(11x1.5) = 16.5

Poison -> Stuck (2 DMG)

Action 3
Sludge Bomb -> Stuck (6 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 5 = no crit
(9+3) = 12 DMG

Energy Ball -> Priam (5 EN)
RNG roll (to crit) 12 = no crit
RNG roll (to lower SpD) 46 = no lower
(8+3+(4-1)1.5)(.67) = 10.385 DMG

Poison -> Stuck (2 DMG)

I'll add in flavor in a bit, I got other reffings to attend to! -dashes away-

Post-round stats:

Priam
HP: 20
EN: 37

Stuck
HP: 1
EN: 57
Poisoned (2 DPA)

"Well little girl, you put up quite the fight. We might as well do our best to take this one down to the wire. You lost the battle but consider this a growing experience (aka I'm about to pump you full of UC and evolve you)."

Rock Slide + Rock Slide > Cooldown > Energy Ball

Being sick sucks. Do I really need formal calcs? (conscience says yes) Damn it...

Pre-round stats:

Priam
HP: 20
EN: 37

Stuck
HP: 1
EN: 57
Poisoned (2 DPA)

One action funstuffs!
Action 1
Priam used Endure! (15 EN)
Ice-eyes is a prick!

Rock Slide combo -> Priam (28 EN)
RNG roll (to hit) 2 = hit
RNG roll (to crit) = irrelevant
((8x2.25)+3) = 21 DMG
Priam endured the hit!

Poison -> Stuck (2 DMG)
Stuck fainted!
Ice-eyes wins!

In a show of true douchebaggery, instead of simply using any attack he pleases, Ice-eyes commands Priam to exert all his energy into simply staying alive. This action did allow deadfox a bit of leeway, as he commands Stuck to pile on a column of rocks twice as large as before onto Priam! After the dust cleared, the results were clear... Priam was able to survive the attack by the skin of his teeth, but Stuck ended up being subdued by the poison!

Post-round stats:

Priam
HP: 1
EN: 22

Stuck
HP: -1
EN: KO

Rewards!

Ice-eyes gets a win and 2 CC!
Priam gets 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, and 1 KOC! (seriously, just evolve this thing already)

deadfox gets a loss and 2 CC!
Stuck gets 1 EC, 2 MC, and 1 DC! (at least this one is definitely evolving)

The man who had awful timing gets 3 UC.

Good game to the both of you!
