It's another lovely night here at the ASB Arena, and tonight's opponents are Ice-eyes, opening with Yoko the Togepi, and King Serperior, opening with Goku the saiyan Riolu. Having the speed advantage (and priority), Goku goes first, Detecting any potential threats that might come his way - an excellent move, as it saves him from getting drowsy, thanks to Yoko letting out a big fat Yawn! Unfortunately, the Riolu's strategy seems to have backfired, as he Detects again...and blows it. Meanwhile, his Togepi nemesis cripples him with Thunder Wave! Oh, this is gonna suck for Goku, I just know it! This fight's getting really ugly for the King - Yoko has taken full advantage of thunder wave and continues to ruin Goku's day with Encore, forcing the Riolu to waste a perfectly good Detect. Twice. And since the second one won't work, Goku is also forced to take the full brunt of Yoko's Extrasensory! However, there is a silver lining in this next turn of events - although the Togepi throws another Extrasensory at her nemesis, Wukong Goku manages to pull off a Force Palm that not only does a decent amount of damage, but paralyzes Yoko as well, rendering her speed advantage moot!

Well folks, we got people fixing the muzak system, so this'll be the last round you hear this crap. In the meantime, We have a turnabout on our hands - the round started innocuously enough, with an exchange of blows between Goku and Yoko (with Force Palm and Flamethrower, respectively), but then, sensing impending doom, the Riolu attempts to Endure the next attack...which proves to be a highly wise decision, as Yoko's Extrasensory attack would have otherwise killed him! Low on energy, the Togepi Chills...and what's this? Goku's sole remaining HP has allowed him to use Reversal at MAXIMUM power! Sweet Arceus, that shit HURT!

And this round has proven to be an absolute BLOODBATH - While Priam spent it spamming Sludge Bomb, his strategy proved surprisingly effective, while Firestorm inflicted grave wounds on his nemesis with two Earth Powers and a Flamethrower in between!
