And so after the epic battle, we are down to just our last two contestants, duking it out for the win. This time Nidhogg begins the round, moving around all of the Pokemon to jump up to Bella and put a Mega Drain on her to drain all of her energy. For some reason, Bella does not try to fight back, but instead just sits there, accepting the loss of energy and it goes on for some time. Eventually, though, she conjures up a kind of Mirror Coat all around her body, which grows in strength until suddenly Nidhogg is flung back, hurt by the weird damage of the attack, which hurts her even more than the Mega Drain before.
Then, Bella stops the passive role she was playing before and launches yet another huge mental blow at Nidhogg. The Psyshock launches her across the field, but while in the air he also forms a Mirror Coat around his body, and a ghostly form of exactly the same attack suddenly appears and flies towards Belladonna. It is unavoidable, and she too is sent flying, in real trouble now.
She falls back, but for some reason just lies there, waiting for her opponent to come to her. It looks like a bad idea: she has virtually no health left, and will probably (definitely) not survive another blow. Nidhogg, looking like he can't believe his luck, jumps up into the air. He once again prepares his most powerful attack, and swirls leaves around the whole colosseum. He lets loose a giant Leaf Storm at Bella, who just sits on the side of the stadium. However, at the last moment Dialga swoops in, angry that the ref hasn't given him anything to do this round. He moves in front of all of the leaves, ready to block them, but suddenly they all fall limp anyway. He has been completely paralysed from before, and can't move! Belladonna happily just sits on the side, merrily Mirror Coating absolutely nothing, and has somehow managed to survive into one more round!
However, suddenly, something strange begins to happen. Ghostly images form and move backwards around the stadium. Suddenly, all eyes turn to Dialga, who is glowing in the centre of the field! It looks like the legend is turning back the clock, winding it back to continue the battle, and not let the Pokemon get new orders! The Pokemon are suddenly back at the beginning of the last action, and Nidhogg is once again trying to deliver a final knockout blow to Belladonna, and jumps up to deliver a great Leaf Storm. The storm goes around the stadium several times, building up momentum, and finally it begins to move in, so that it can be directed towards Bella. However, be it due to exhaustion after the battle or excitement about winning it, Nidhogg just loses control of the blast and sends most of it into the Kyogre in the middle of the arena. It is super effective, and the mythical being roars in anger. It shifts its colossal weight and suddenly begins to attack! It lets loose a giant Water Spout, flooding the entire stadium and throwing around all of the Pokemon in it who can't fly out or swim. Graveler everywhere Explode in frustration, and the very ground shakes with the attacks of the other Pokemon. Bella and Nidhogg themselves are washed around and thrown about, and it looks doubtful that either could possibly survive the attack. Eventually it subsides, and all of the Pokemon fall back down onto the surface of the stadium, not moving. It is clear to see that Bella is out cold: she was nearly there before the attack, and it wouldn't have needed much. But we can see over at the other side of the field, Nidhogg is beginning to struggle after the attack which was weaker against it because of his natural resistance to water. It slowly gets up, and as a result is the only Pokemon left able to battle, meaning that LupusAter wins! gg and wp everyone, and I gotta say that I had a load of fun reffing you all. Well done especially to LupusAter, who I actually thought would lose until the last action. I'll post the prizes below.
