Cloyster [Drake "The Fortress"] (Male)
Nature: Gentle (+1 SpD, -1 Def)

Info on Drake: Glacier was enjoying the sights of the seafoam islands as he passed through the southern boundaries of kanto. He was thrilled that a seemingly tropical island contained such icy extents. after going deep within the caverns there was a sudden crash! some belligerent fool in the cavern above was pushing boulders down holes! the sudden crashes caused the floor to break, and without warning Glacier fell into the icy torrents in the lower most floor. with very bad athletic abilities Glacier didnt last long, and quickly fell into unconsciousness.

when he woke up Glacier was inside a small crevice in the seafoam caves. cold and wet, he turned to his side to see a small but valiant shellder. Ever since that fateful rescue, Drake has been close to Glacier's heart. With wit and clever attacks Drake can change the tides o the match, and can even surprise opponents.

Once upon a time, Referee Complications was deep asleep, dreaming of chaos and destruction, when suddenly, he felt two presences! "Huh? Glacier Knight? Danmantincan? Is that you?" Complications' dream-self said, and indeed, it was. Somehow they had snuck into Complications' dreams for a battle like no other, which they insisted on quite forcefully. "Well... I suppose," Complications said, and suddenly, the rugged mountain Complications' dream-self was climbing transformed into the ASB field. "The first round will be easy, but after that... let's just say that my mind is quite devious," Complications said, and the battle began.

FIRST ARENA: ASB Arena

Order of Ops:
Danmantincan sends out a Pokemon and equips an item.
Glacier Knight sends out a Pokemon, equips an item, and orders.
Danmantincan orders.

The Pokemon finish attacking, and the arena begins to change... suddenly, the sky goes bloody red, and smoke fills the air! The stands burst into fire, and people flee for their lives. Lava slowly oozes from cracks in the ground, setting the arena aglow.
Effects:
-Hazy
-lava is all over the field! Any movements could leave the opponent burned- even fire types!

Just a note, Charcoal adds to the total damage, not the BAP of Fire attacks. So it wouldn't be affected by type effectiveness.

Fire Blast~Flamethrower~Fire Blast

If Protective/Evasive action, use Roost the first time and Chill on subsequent uses.
If Yawn and you don't have a Substitute up, use Substitute (15 HP).

Danmantincan

HP: 30
Energy: 58 Energy
Status: Rain (3 Rounds)

As Complications' dreams shift, so does the arena... Actually, rather, it dissappears entirely. Suddenly both Pokemon and trainer are plummeting through the sky, thousand of feet in the air, and it seems as though Walrein's Rain Dance has manifested into a nearby thunderstorm!
Effects:
-All normal effects of Rain still apply
-Each action, both Pokemon have a 10% chance of getting struck by a bolt of lightning in the form of Thunderbolt from R3 SAtk, but with a 100% effect chance.
-Because of the random nature of free fall, target become harder to hit, reducing the accuracy of all attacks by a flat 30%!

#10

"Woah, a free-fall! Well.... why dont we take a nap!? Also.... First Lava, now lightning, seems as though Comp's brain doesn't like Walreins!"

Rest~Sleep Talk (Chill/Brine/Waterfall/Aquaring)~Sleep Talk (Brine/Facade/Waterfall/Chill)

Also, gonna have to argue if Vol uses roost ('
The Pokemon grounds itself and recovers...' can't really roost while free falling)

#11
Shouldn't Surf have failed last round because there was no external water source? (I fail to see how some rain could be used to create a giant wave)

Anyway, our opponent isn't the only one that can change the weather.

Sunny Day~SolarBeam~Flamethrower
If SolarBeam misses, use Morning Sun A3.

Unfortunately I didn't specify against external water sources, so it is fair play...

Glacier

HP: 32
Energy: 28
Status: Sun (3 Rounds) Enigma Berry (Half-Eaten)

Danmantincan

HP: 30
Energy: 35 Energy
Status: Sun (3 Rounds)

Again, Complications' mind shifts, and the trainers are plummeted into darkness. Eventually, a dim glow appears as Volcarona's fiery glow begins to fill the new location, but the light is dim and the Pokemon can only see eachother- no further. However, manacled cackles can be heard in the darkness, and glowing eyes can occasionally be seen flashing into view.
Effects:
-All attacks are usable. Sunny Day is still in effect, but the light does not alter the darkness.
-Scoring a critical hit here could lead to an unpleasant surprise for the target...

Grrr...stupid Flamethrower.

Fire Blast~Flamethrower~Fire Blast

If Protective/Evasive action, use Roost the first time and Chill on subsequent uses.
If it is Raining and Walrein is not using Encore, use Sunny Day. Only once.

Sorry Glacier, but Dan has called DQ.

Rewards:
Danmantincan gets 1 CC and a win!
Volcarona gets 3 MC and 1 KOC!

I get 3 UC!

Note: I'm not sure how to award CC in case of a DQ, so just post so if In wrong. Same with Ref compensation; the new policy confuses me a bit.)
