Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Sigilyph uses Energy Ball yet again, pushing Gigalith back. Gigalith jumps in for an attack... but it is fully paralyzed and can't move! That's unfortunate!
Not done, Sigilyph uses Flash Cannon and connects directly. Gigalith goes in for another try... but is fully paralyzed again! Jeez, the odds of that are low. Sigilyph isn't doing all that much damage, but the free actions will definitely add up.
It looks like Sigilyph is attacking with Energy Ball one more time. Gigalith takes the hit, and this time successfully moves in towards Sigilyph and attacks! Using Facade, it uses the paralysis to its advantage, doing some real damage. Still, due to the two paralyses, Sigilyph has outdamaged it this round.

Battered but not giving up, Sigilyph flies up high to avoid a Rock Tomb from Gigalith before attacking with Fly. It looks like Matezoide is trying to rack up as much damage as possible before Sigilyph faints.
Sigilyph lets out another Flash Cannon, then crumples to the ground and faints. Sigilyph has fainted! Gigalith also awkwardly uses Rock Slide on the fainted opponent. Oops! What will Matezoide do to take out the severely weakened Gigalith?

Matezoide recalls Sigilyph and sends out his next oddball Pokemon, Spinda. Spinda will be a key Pokemon in this match, as it is Matezoide's only way to remove the entry hazards that akela has spread across the arena. Speaking of which, Spinda is attacked those very hazards upon entry, causing it quite a bit of harm.
Spinda starts out with Fake Out, pushing Gigalith back and causing it to flinch. That's just one of many tricks that Spinda has.
Spinda follows up with Superpower that knocks Gigalith over. Gigalith has been knocked out! The attack also raises Spinda's Attack and Defense. It hasn't been able to Rapid Spin yet, but it still has plenty of HP left.

Go Pinsir @ Pinsirite!
Mega Evolution ON!
Storm Throw > Close Combat > Storm Throw
IF Protective/Evasive maneuver used successfully, THEN Harden INSTEAD.
As Gigalith is recalled, akela goes to send out Pinsir! Pinsir is a relatively fresh Pokemon of akela's, but I don't think it should be underestimated. The Stealth Rock trap that Bronzong set up batters it, but then Pinsir starts to mega evolve! It's going to show us its true power here. Pinsir on its own is nothing to laugh at, but Mega Pinsir sure will be tough for Matezoide and Spinda to handle.
Pinsir is actually flying, and it swoops down towards Spinda. It picks Spinda up and tosses the panda with Storm Throw! Spinda looks a bit dizzy from that... though then again, Spinda always looks dizzy. It's still spinning from the attack. Or actually, I think Spinda is finally using Rapid Spin. The high velocity spinning manages to inflict damage on Pinsir, but more importantly for Matezoide it also removes the entry hazards that akela worked so hard to put down.
Pinsir isn't done, and it again flies in towards Spinda. This time the attack is a barrage of hits, Close Combat. Spinda looks unexpectedly prepared for those attacks. Oh, it's countering the hits with, well, Counter! That does massive damage to Pinsir. Spinda is seriously weakened as well though, and once Spinda faints akela can just set up more entry hazards.
Spinda isn't done just yet though, as it erects a Protect that we've seen used so many times this battle. Pinsir looked like it was going to attack, but instead it just starts to Harden its shell to negate the side effects of the Close Combat. Spinda is on the verge of being knocked out, but it managed to do quite a lot of damage to Pinsir. It's really unclear which battler is in the lead here, as both have a different set of advantages over the other...

I think Spinda was about to perform a combo move, but right before it could Pinsir finished it off with an awesome Vice Grip+Bind combination! That was so cool, and powered up by Pinsir's Aerilate. I think it might put akela in an awkward position at the start of the next round though...

Matezoide sends out his sixth Pokemon, Ditto! Oh, that's a really good pick here, as now Matezoide has a super bulky Mega Pinsir at his disposal due to Metal Powder. I wonder how well it'll fare against akela's majority Rock-type team... well, first it'll have to take on Pinsir!
Ditto starts by setting up a Substitute, like we've seen a couple times already. Not bad... as with its major bulk that wont break easily.
Ditto then rushes in and strikes with Vice Grip, while Pinsir attempts to attack with Toxic. The Toxic has no effect though as it hits the Substitute, while the Vice Grip dealt major damage to Pinsir. Pinsir is looking weakened, having it's sky high Attack and Aerilate being used against it.
Pinsir strikes and Ditto with Smack Down, but the highly effective move hardly did any damage. Even the Substitute doll easily withstood the hit. Ditto strikes back with a Rock Slide, and that manages to knock Pinsir to the ground. Pinsir is knocked out! How will akela take care of this monster?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Corsolas are no match for Ottis!
Earthquake -> Close Combat -> Earthquake
If Corsola is under the effects of Bide, use Toxic that action the first time and Focus Energy the second
If Corsola is behind a Substitute, use Earthquake that action. This sub takes priority.
akela's next Pokemon is Corsola. That's an interesting choice, but I wonder how well it'll fare against the suped up Ditto. Either way, Corsola is pelted by the Stealth Rock upon entry, which isn't the best start.
Corsola pulls an interesting trick though, and sets up a barrier using Reflect before Ditto can attack with Earthquake. I think that reaction speed is due to Corsola's Rock-typing. Even still, the attack did quite a bit. Corsola is going to have to have more tricks than that to take on Ditto.
Oh, it looks like Corsola is doing the same thing again. That's not going to be helpful though. Unless... Ah, this time Corsola is using Barrier, not Reflect. Ditto swoops in with Close Combat, but due to the protective barrier the attack does no damage. Ditto's defenses are lowered though. Maybe Corsola can win this matchup?
Ditto attacks with Earthquake again. The attack is weakened a good amount though from both the Reflect and Barrier. Corsola retaliates this time, using Ancient Power. It manages to destroy Ditto's Substitute, and I think it also raised Corsola's stats! Still, Corsola has a lot less health than Ditto. Will it be able to take out Ditto?
