Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Hector: “SNORLAXLAXLAAAAX!!!” (translation: WHERE IS THE BLOB OF GAS THAT WOKE ME UP! I AM GONNA KILL IT!)
“Too late, my fat friend, he returned to his pokeball. And I kinda think it is impossible for you to kill it…since it is a ghost and all.
Hector: “SNORLAX!” (Speed was Lowered! Attack and Defense Rose!)
…yeah. Anyway, iss sends…a Christmas tree to fight Rachel! Oh wait, that thing is alive! Its Shrug the Snover in attack mode. And it celebrates its debut by summoning a huge hail that soon turns into an inevitable Blizzard that freezes Rachel Toes! But the togepi fights ice with fire, with Fire Blast, dealing massive damage to Mr. Santa.
Togepi: Fire Blast: (12 + 3)2.25 = 33.75 (34) damage for 8 energy
Hit RNG: 1/100 (yes)
Crit RNG: 14/16 (no)
Burn RNG: 8/10 (no)
-2hp due to hail
Action 2
But Rachel was on the mean children list and Santa doesn’t seem willing to forgive the child. Forgiveness is bliss, you know? But I guess Shrug is of the vindictive kind and finishes off Rachel with yet another Blizzard.
Snover: Blizzard: 12 + 3 + 1.5= 16.5 (17) damage for 11 energy
Crit RNG: 12/16
Freeze RNG: 4/10 (nope)
And galladiator sends the last pokemon (*winks to Hector, giving it the Sign*) to the fray. Gary the Embirch. Well he tried to summon this Ness guy, but I guess it should Earthbound somewhere else (oh god what an awful pun).
Anyway, Gary starts with a BANG. A Fire Blast is used and a huge fire kanji burns our poor Christmas tree (not burn the status) and Shrug responds by….whistling. The hell?
Hector: *SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE*
For the love of god not again!
Gary: *snooooore*
Oh. Well, at least it didn’t miss this time.
Embirch: Fire Blast: (12 + 3 + 3)2.25 = 40.5 (41) damage for 7 energy
Hit RNG: 46/100 (yes)

Snover: Grasswhistle for 4 energy
Hit RNG (>=6/10): 4/10 (yes)
Sleep RNG: 2/3 (2 actions)
Action 2
Hector and Gary: *SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE*
….and I thought Hector liked to snooze off. By the way, is it getting cold here? This Icy Wind is giving me the chills.
Snover: Icy Wind: 6 + 3 +3 = 12 damage for 4 energy
Hit RNG: +speed nature boosts the accuracy to 100%
Crit RNG: 15/16 (no)
-1 speed stage for Embirch
Embirch: snoozing
-2hp due to hail
Action 3
Shrug exploits the Icy Wind and boosts it tenfold, forming a full blown Blizzard that severely damages Gary and Wakes him up! And the embirch doesn’t seem happy as it fires another massive Fire Kanji, sealing the deal for the poor Christmas tree. It was one hell fo a Fire Blast
Embirch: Fire Blast: (12 + 3 + 3)2.25 = 40.5 (41) damage for 7 energy
Hit RNG: 69/100 (yes)
Crit RNG: doesn’t matter
Burn RNG: also doesn’t matter
-2hp due to hail
And iss also sends his last pokemon to the field: Lamps the Chinchou with Volt Absorb. Looks like this battle will come down to wire!
The newcomer Lambs
Hector: “Snorlaaax!” (Translation: Lamb! WHERE! I would love some short ribs right now!)
“Oh I mean Lamps. And do what you are supposed to Hector”.
Anyway, the newcomer Lamps starts the match by inducing another set of seizures with Confuse Ray. I guess it probably learned something from Air. This confused the Embirch for 3 actions.
And for some odd reason the Confuse Ray made Gary enter in Woodstock mode. It now wants to hug all his tree friends. Which would be a harmless idea, if he didn’t decide to hug a conveniently placed Cactus. The poor guy. Hit itself in confusion.
Also Hail
Chinchou: Confuse Ray for 5 energy
Confusion RNG: 2/3 (3 turns of confusion)
-2hp due to hail
Embirch:
Confurion RNG (2/2 attacks normally): 1 / 2 (hits itself in confusion): 4 + 1.5 = 5.5 (6) damage for 3 energy
Confusion count reduced by 1!
-2hp due to hail
Action 2
Lamps, adding insult to injury decides to also Paralyze our tree lizard friend with another set of Lights, aka Thunder Wave. But that didn’t affect Gary so much, as it managed to overcome both the paralysis and the confusion to fire a red laser at the Chinchou, putting a Giga Drain on its hp.
Also Hail.
Chinchou: Thunder Wave for 7 energy
Embirch is paralysed!
-2hp due to hail
Embirch: Giga Drain at Chinchou: (8 + 3 + 1.5)1.5 = 18.75 (19) damage for 11 energy

Paralysis RNG (1/4 fully paralysed): 4/4 (attacks normally)
Crit RNG: 12/16 (no)
Embirch isn’t confused anymore!
-2hp due to hail
Action 3
Sensing danger, Lamps runs (or something like that) toward the lake and jumps on the water, Diving real deep. Gary, ordered to attack it, goes near the lake and tries to detect the Chinchou, but just as it found it, Full Paralysis striked, making it impossible to aim its Energy Ball, which failed. Finally, Lamps ends the round by emerging from the lake and attacking the Embirch.
Also hail.
Chinchou: Dive: 8 + 3 -1.5 = 10.5 (11) damage for 5 energy
Crit RNG: Battle Armor
-2hp due to hail
Embirch: Energy Ball for 5 energy = failed
Paralysis RNG (1/4 fully paralysed): 1 / 4 (fully paralysed)
2hp due to hail
The newcomer Lamps starts the round by inducing another set of seizures with Confuse Ray.
…
Am I the only one who had this intense sense of Déjà vu?

You know, like
Only much less cool
Also hail.

“Okay Hector, it seems that this will be the final round. In your position!”
Lamps starts by using Ice Beam once again to hopefully end the battle, but Gary still manages to survive and retaliate with Giga Drain, giving it much needed longevity.
Chinchou: Ice Beam: 10 + 3= 13 damage for 7 energy
Freeze RNG (1/20): 2/20 (no)
-2hp due to hail
Embirch: Giga Drain: (8 + 3 + 1.5)1.5 = 18.75 (19) damage for 11 energy

Crit RNG: 2/16 (no)
-2hp due to hail
+9 hp!
Action 2
I think I will spare the winner of the punishment…yeah, that seems right
Erm, anyway, Lamps decides to end the battle near the water and Dives. Gary even tries to find it and steal some more precious hp, but he wasn’t successful and before he could aim carefully, the chinchou appeared and striked the Embirch with great power, finishing it off.
AND THAT IS GAME. ISS WON THE BATTLE. AND GALLADIATOR GETS..
*gives sign*
Body Slam!
Hilarious pic originally made by wpetrey from devianart (it has a bellsprout on the place of the hideous doll I drew). Kudos to him.
And they lived happy ever after.
…and now let’s return to what it matters.
*SNOOOOOOORE*
