As both pokemon accelerate, Megawhal decides to go with the flow and Chill out to restore some lost energy, but is suddenly hit by Titania's Magical Leaf, which she pulls off without a hitch. Then both pokemon go down and avoid the wall that would bring them to a sudden and painful halt. Titania then attempts to poison Megawhal with a Poison Sting, but the Colossoil Bounces out of harm's way and crashes on top of her. His immense weight is enough to leave her paralysed, but she has one last surprise for him as some of the poison on her thorns finds its way into Megawhal's system. This is going to wear him down and it looks like it's enraged him too. Finally, in the distance, another obstacle appears and it looks like the pokemon will need to go to the right to avoid it once they reach it.

Random was satisfied that he finally got a Guts boost, but still, he needed to be careful...

Dig > Bounce > Go Right
(Once Only) IF Aromatherapy, THEN Taunt

"I guess the time to act is now, Titania! Combine Stun Spore and Sleep Powder to create a Spore Storm, paralyzing and putting to sleep Megawhal! If this works, use Aromatherapy on turn three.
If the combo is invalid, replace your actions with Ingrain, then Aromatherapy and finish by Going right; if the combo works, but you are paralyzed, use Aromatherapy the next turn and finish by going right."

The Colossoil realises that it's best if he can avoid being hit, so he Digs underground and waits a while before striking in one of Titania's weak spots. Unfortunately for him, the Roserade was building up a Spore Storm and she unleashes the combined powders on him. One of them causes his muscles to seize up, while the other puts him into a very deep sleep. Despite the sleep, Megawhal continues to travel down the tunnel while Titania uses some Aromatherapy to cure her own paralysis. In all the chaos, both pokemon crash head first into the obstacle! The impact slows them right down just before the tunnel gives them another boost, but another obstacle is just up ahead. Maybe the pokemon will avoid this one.

A little bit late, but...Have you been applying Pressure? At any rate, we've got Roserade in the bag...

Earthquake > Sucker Punch > Earthquake

I think I've been applying it on some attacks but not others. Let me just check.

EDIT: OK, I've checked and there are two moves that targeted Megawhal that I didn't apply Pressure to. One of those was the failed combo and the other was a move that missed due to Bounce. I'll need to check whether Pressure was still meant to be applied in those circumstances. If so, Roserade has 4 less energy at the start of this round.

EDIT2: OK, Pressure does need to be applied in those circumstances. Roserade now has 4 less energy.

EDIT3: Fixed. I don't know if anyone wants to reorder in light of this change.

Titania tries to siphon some of Megawhal's life force with a Giga Drain attack, but Megawhal slamming his bulk into the tunnel walls and creating a massive Earthquake more than undoes that effect. The two pokemon then crash into the obstacle, slowing them down and injuring them. Megawhal then feigns fatigue and weakness as Titania prepares to strike again, but the Roserade is suddenly struck by the Colossoil's Sucker Punch, which takes her by surprise and knocks her out for good. But there's no time to celebrate as the next obstacle is surprisingly close!

Hang on, assuming Temp's sub was legal, since I didn't order Protect or Go Left A1, wasn't Roserade supposed to use Giga Drain A1, followed by Magical Leaf A2, then an A3 Chill? Please clarify.

Good job Megawhal, you have earned your rest. Now all you need to do is pave the way for Choragon to finish the job.

Valentine the Exeggutor may be the last pokemon Temperantia has, but he still packs a punch. Megawhal tries to thwart him, but finds himself completely paralysed and unable to move! This doesn't stop Valentine from striking with a Super Giga Drain that knocks out the Colossoil and would have restored a fair amount of vitality if it happened after the Exeggutor crashed into the obstacle. Fortunately it doesn't take too much damage from that, but it used a lot of energy for that powerful attack and the next obstacle looms.

As Choragon comes out, he immediately strikes his opponent by Crunching him with his sharp teeth. This seems to have weakened Valentine, making her more susceptible to such powerful physical blows, and he responds by going to the right ... which only brings him even closer to the obstacle. Both pokemon collide into it, being brought to an abrupt halt, before continuing their journey. Choragon Digs into the tunnel wall to avoid a Psychic attack from Valentine, and then strikes from below before following up by roasting him with Flamethrower. Valentine responds by setting up a Reflective barrier around himself, but is it too little too late? And suddenly the pokemon see another obstacle appearing. Will they know how to avoid it this time?

So many things could go wrong, yet Random knew he had to end this...

Flamethrower + Flamethrower combo > Dragon Rage > Flamethrower
IF (Sleep Inducing Move) A1, THEN Substitute (15 HP), AND push actions back
IF Go Left A1...

  • Change your course of action to Dragon Rage > Flamethrower + Flamethrower combo > Dragon Rage
  • IF it is followed up by (Sleep Inducing Move) A2, THEN change your course of action to Substitute (15 HP) > Flamethrower > Flamethrower
Here goes something...Fun fact: It took me 50 minutes to come up with this...

I actually ordered a Flamethrower + Flamethrower combo A1, but w/e.

GG Temperantia, you were a good opponent, but it seems that counterteaming =/= victory here.

Thanks for reffing Objection, much appreciated.

Yay, a free slot...FINALLY...

GG IAR. For the record, I wasn't counterteaming, I just wanted to use my newly evolved Cloyster. (If I really wanted to I would've used Froslass) :3
